And I never shared with you guys. And I'm going to share it with you and then I want to move on because I really don't want to get into it at all. Because I want to talk about the fact that somebody gave up my secret. um i over the course of six months or so have been going to university of michigan to michigan medicine and have been doing meetings about the possibility of doing bariatric surgery really i've never in my life ever thought about this until my doctor after i had my heart surgery a couple years ago had said to me hey i know you've lost weight and i know that you kind of teeter a little bit, you know, where you put it back on and go back and forth. But I want you to look into this because he was really worried that too much of that was going to be even worse for me. So for the last, I don't know, six or seven months, I was going to University of Michigan and I was doing these meetings with caregivers, doctors, surgeons, even patients, people who have had the surgery or about to have the surgery. And I'm going to tell you guys, it was the weirdest thing ever and i don't know why this is the case because nobody should be ashamed if they ever want to do this um when i would walk into the office i would always look around to see if somebody was like a listener or anybody like that because you can you know exactly where you're going at the time that you're going into and it says bariatric center or whatever it does on the sign and um when i would walk out of the the the room i would always look around too and i don't know why I was

like it it's kind of like the same thing that i was doing whenever i was going to the penthouse club on eight mile a little different is my wife watching me at this particular time but i don't want to i don't want to get into and involved in my decision on this because i decided that i wasn't going to do it after meeting with nutritionists and the doctors and all the rest i decided that i was really going to put the effort forward to just try to eat a healthier lifestyle and to not do the surgery and that's when i don't know if you guys knew this but remember i lost like 38 pounds i went back up on ideal you that was at the start of it okay i decided if i didn't start losing that weight i was going to go get the surgery done okay and honestly i've have friends of mine that have had the surgery and have been incredibly successful and i think the surgery is actually a good thing it just wasn't for you it just i just don't think it was for me and maybe who knows who maybe one day it will be but i don't think it is right now and i'm still you know use an ideal you as a way to lose weight and my goal is to lose another like 40 or 50 pounds and then try to maintain it for as long as I can for the rest of my life long story short now I walked out of the bariatric center at U of M and ran into somebody that I knew very very well and when I ran into them they were going to the U of M area to see a doctor right next door because they put you butt up to each other and then if you've ever been there they have like a waiting room that's Like, you know, hundreds of people could possibly be sitting in those waiting rooms. And when I bumped into him, I said, oh, my God, this is now the time that this is going to happen where somebody is going to see me doing this. And I told Chelsea I didn't want to talk about it on the air. Like, I talk about everything on the air. You know that. And I didn't talk about this. I said to him, do me a favor because I haven't made a decision if I want to do this yet. Please do not tell anybody because the only person that really knows is my my wife. And he had said, absolutely, no problem. Well, I found out recently that the secret that I gave to him or the secret that he found out, he has told at least three people that I know, but they didn't, but they didn't say anything because they didn't want me to know that I knew that they knew.

Wait. So how did you know? How did you, how did you find out that they know that they knew?

Long story short, I actually was talking and I said, I decided I was going to say something to some, to some of my friends.

And they said, you know what? what we actually knew about this and I go how'd you know about this and then they kind of insinuated that it was him which I was him because he was close so I I want to bring this up because I will I will say this to you I'm not pissed at him because you know what I think it's good for me to talk about because I really do think that there are listeners that are you know suffering battling and suffering from you know weight issues like I have suffered with my entire life and I think it's this thing that we need to talk about more often instead of just making fun of ourselves about it. So I do think if you want to look into it, look into it. That's great. Or do a program like Ideal You. But I also want to talk about who have you told a secret to and they told other people about it. I will say, if it's something super serious, he's a pretty damn good secret keeper. That's very, very true. Truly.

But all of my little things, all of my little secrets in 24 hours, everybody knows about them.

The only time that I do that is if it's involving a guy that you met or something like that.

And who did she tell? She didn't tell the police?

No, she told my best friends that, and they were scared to open the box. And I said, well, it's easy. She was like, no, you need a key, and you need a code. I said, no. And I just turned a dial, and it opened. And there was, you know, a half ounce of sticky, icky, icky.

Oh, jeez. Oh, wee. Wow. So your sister would not be somebody that you would ever think would give up your secret. Like, I joked about Aunt Pat sometimes. I would worry about Pat. But did she think she did it to be malicious, or do you think she just did it because she was worried about you?

Oh, she did it because she's my sister, and she's silly, you know, a $3 bill. Yeah, okay.

Well, at the time, you know I'm out now, but at the time I was not. I just broke up with my ex from high school, my girlfriend at the time, and I told her why, and she ended up telling all of her friends and most of the people that she's in the town.

I'm glad at least none of those people she told were friends with my family.
