Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. And listen to our podcast as the show goes on. So as we do the show, we send you the podcast, including your chance to hear the War of the Roses, the phone scams, all that stuff. All right, so just to kind of give you a little backstory on this, there's maybe a little romantic inner show kind of relationship thing going on. We've talked about this since our Jingle Ball when it all spurred on when our new producer, KP, met Jed from The Joe Show. And by the way, it's not that she got sent down to Tampa, Florida because of Jed. She got sent down to Tampa, Florida because the person that does all of our best social media and web work and all that stuff is based out of here.

00:02:59 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 7:

We're getting a makeover in our studio with our cameras and stuff, and everything's going to look really good.

00:03:04 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 6:

It's going to be good.

00:03:04 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so I was down here for that.

00:03:06 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 6:

But it did conveniently also fall that there's this little thing going on between the two of you guys. And I don't necessarily know what the thing is. Does anybody kind of have an idea of what this thing is?

00:03:18 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 1:

No, but it's very flirty and friendly.

00:03:21 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 6:

They talk a lot, Shannon. Do they? Well, they text a lot.

00:03:25 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:03:25 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 6:

And this is the weird part, though. So, KP, when you are not in Tampa like you are right now, you and Jed are always talking to each other.

00:03:38 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 7:

Jed and I probably text every week.

00:03:41 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 6:

Every week?

00:03:42 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 7:

It's not every day, but we have conversations.

00:03:44 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 6:

I don't buy that. It's not every day.

00:03:45 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 7:

It's not every day, actually. I go to Jed when I'm like when I don't know how to do something too because he typically knows how to fix things but he's very different in person when I because I was very surprised coming here and he seems to always have something else to do when I ask him if he wants to do something and you saw we were at that little smoothie place yesterday and he he was like talking about a smoothie and I'm like oh let me try and he's like no and like walked away and I asked him if he wanted to hang out and he's like, no, I've got to go take my dog out. And I'm like, oh.

00:04:21 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 6:

So wait, so Ashley Geis is in studio too. So Ashley Nix is here.

00:04:25 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:04:26 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 6:

Works with Joe, Jed, and Ashley. They're, of course, in the afternoons on Channel 955. So KP, you say that when you guys are together in face-to-face, like not four states separated, he is not as interactive with you as he is you know over the phone jet is all work no play

00:04:51 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

is what i've realized we ask ashley a question because she's the closest to him just get this right off the board here does he have a woman he's in

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 1:

Does he have a local girlfriend or somebody?

00:05:02 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Not at all. He's not talking to anybody. Okay.

00:05:05 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 1:

Jed is a free man.

00:05:06 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 2:

If Jed's talking to somebody, it's the engineer because they spend so much time together. All right, I have a question. If Mojo is so obsessed with the inter-show relationship, Ashley, can we date? Hey, boo, what's that?

00:05:19 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to fly you out, I'm going to fly you out.

00:05:21 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 3:

So, Ashley, you've seen this before, haven't you, with Jed? I have, I have. What's the story with Jed and why it sounded to me, It sounded to me, first off, let me just say this. I'm going to go on record to say this. I was snooping at Jed's phone. So Jed picked Tony and his son Christopher and myself up at the airport. And I saw that Jed got a text message. And you know how when you get a text message and you're on CarPlay in your phone?

00:05:49 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 2:

I can't even believe you right now. You can actually see the text. Yeah, it might be on the dashboard.

00:05:54 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 3:

I didn't say what your text said, but I just say, K.P. came up on there. What'd it say?

00:06:01 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what'd it say?

00:06:02 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 3:

It just, well, let me just say this to you. It was very flirtatious.

00:06:08 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, he left our date to go pick up your butt. Wait, so there was a date? Date? Date! He left our drinks to go date. Oh, wait a second.

00:06:17 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

Date?

00:06:18 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 2:

You are so busted. So we were having a very nice time. Uh-huh. And he had to go leave to pick up T.T., Tony, and Mojo. Yeah. And I'm like, oh, come with. I want to see them. I want to see my favorite bosses that are reading my text messages. And he's like, no, because then I got to drop you off and it's 30 minutes out of the way. I'm like, whatever. I'm not going to push him. Like, if he doesn't want me to come, I get it. Which is super lame. And I've realized this these last couple of days that I am 100 percent quality time. And because I got way too it pinched a nerve way too much when he would do other things. Yeah. And I'm like, oh, shoot, that's that's how I know that I need to stop. like talking to jed because he's he's starting to like get under my skin anyway he was i was i was he shared his location with me when he was picking me up from the airport and i made sure to watch him from start to finish he goes to the airport picks up tony and mojo drives right by my hotel like literally the street i see him drive by oh all the way to mojo's place and i watch him there And I ended up catching Jed in three lies yesterday.

00:07:28 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, the first obvious one is he said it would be way too far out of the way.

00:07:32 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

You can't defend yourself on this. Speak of the devil. He just walked in the studio. So first one was before our date, he said he was going to pick us up at, not date, drinks, at 7. He calls me 20 minutes before and says my ETA is, or not 20 minutes, I don't know what he called me. He's like, it's 7.05. He gets there at 7.20. And I watched his location. He was not getting gas. He was still at his house.

00:07:59 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

That was the first one. Wait, why would you, Jed? Why would you share your location with KP?

00:08:06 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

Because when she first came into town, she was like, hey, do you mind if I share your location with me? That way I know you can come to the airport and pick me up. That's the original reason why I did it. You're right, Spike. It is a rookie move. And damn it, I was wrong for doing it.

00:08:18 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 2:

I should have never freaking done it. Okay, second one. God, what was the second one? I can't even remember anymore. Well, she's just driving right by your hotel

00:08:27 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 1:

and then claiming that it would be too far out of the way to have you.

00:08:30 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, and then he drove right by.

00:08:32 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

Did you think that you were going to get some cookies?

00:08:34 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

That's not what I wanted.

00:08:35 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 3:

A hundred percent you did.

00:08:37 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 2:

That's not what I wanted.

00:08:37 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 4:

You never asked someone to come over and hang out and spend the night unless you want some kind of sexual action. That is not true.

00:08:43 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 3:

I did not say what was on the text message that I read yesterday.

00:08:47 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 2:

Now we know. I did not say anything in that regard. Wait, wait, wait. No, I did not.

00:08:52 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 4:

Let's check the receipts, because she has the location, now that I have the receipts.

00:08:56 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 2:

I've been here for three days, and you've heard every excuse in the book. I want this to work.

00:09:01 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 3:

I feel like Al Bundy. Listen, guys. Al Bundy. Who's that? Married with children. I don't know. KP. He's pulling it out. He, by the way, just so you know, if you do get in a relationship with him, he likes all the same sitcoms I like.

00:09:14 - 00:09:14 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

00:09:16 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 3:

But, okay, so just stop for one second. You guys, this is common. And I know there are some listeners that have this where you are flirtatiously talking to a person over your app or over your phone. But then when you get face to face. Gone there, they don't. So I don't know what it is. Maybe it's Jed. Maybe maybe you guys are of the generation where you guys cannot communicate face to face.

00:09:43 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 4:

I do communicate face to face. Most of the communication that we've done this whole entire time down here has been face to face.

00:09:48 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 3:

You flirt when you're in Tampa and she's in Detroit, you guys flirt with each other. Then you come down here and you've got the goods right in front of you, man. Look at this beautiful woman right here. It's like, yeah, you do that because you're from a distance. But at the same point in time, when you're out on a date and you're hanging out, and she also hates when I do that with my hands. Nobody can see it. She talks to my hands. She's got jazz hands going on right now. But at the same point in time, I don't even know. I'm just so flustered right now. Listen, here's the thing.

00:10:16 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 4:

You got the, you know, this is, this is, don't you feel like apps have ruined people? Because what it's done is apps and FaceTime.

00:10:24 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 1:

There's no self-confidence in person. You got, you, I mean, she's into you. You're together, but you're pushing her away once she's finally in front of you.

00:10:32 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 5:

You know, listen to this. I said, Jed, let's go walk at the beach or something. Let's go do something. You know what he tells me? There's a red sea. No, it's red tide. There's poison in the ocean. We can't go.

00:10:41 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 3:

Look it up. Look it up. Look it up. Red tide.

00:10:45 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 5:

I'm like, okay, I'm going to go lay out on my pool.

00:10:46 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 4:

By the way.

00:10:47 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 5:

No comment. I'm going to go walk my dog.

00:10:49 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 4:

Could you imagine being in a relationship with either one of these two guys? Oh, my God. But no, but the thing is, you guys are such a cute couple, and I don't understand this. you had a girl come in from out of town she and he preferred to walk his dog and she and you preferred to walk your dog and she invited you to come and stay at her hotel room because it was the

00:11:12 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 5:

last night like literally like why don't you oh and because after jingle ball notice how she is more triggered about this than i am with you um after jingle ball you literally texted me and was like you feel like you messed up that you didn't make a move and i'm like yeah because i wasn't ready for anything which clarifies we did not do anything we still haven't done anything and we don't think we will do anything but he like had a chance to redeem himself and he did it but wait a second jed are you is the reason that you didn't go are you like a little nervous like you want you want this to be a certain pace and so you're trying to pace yourself i'm gonna allude this

00:11:49 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 3:

back to a book that i brought up on there before it's called how to be the three percent man yeah

00:11:53 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. No, no, no. I want to hear this. Are they talking about you and you're masculine again?

00:11:56 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 3:

No, not about masculine. It's about scarcity creates value. So if I remove myself, then it creates more value. Okay, what happens when both of us are gone?

00:12:07 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 5:

What if I just stop responding to your text and it's so scarce nothing happens?

00:12:11 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 1:

The scarcity has happened for four months. Like, now is the time. You've increased your value. Now is the time to hit the home run.

00:12:19 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You're going to regret this for the rest of your life. Do you realize that when you're my age, when you're a 52-year-old man, you're going to go, remember that girl, K.P.?

00:12:30 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 3:

She was at the Holiday Inn. I'll be sitting at the front porch of a Cracker Barrel.

00:12:37 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 7:

He tried to take me to Cracker Barrel last night.

00:12:40 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 4:

You're going to be a married guy with, like, five kids running around. You're going to be annoyed. You're going to half-love your wife, and you're going to remember.

00:12:49 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's another thing he told me. He said when he marries his second wife in a conversation, I'm like, what? You know what you guys are planning on having more than one marriage.

00:12:57 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 4:

You guys, you guys are both going to end up in other relationships, break up with each other and then meet on Facebook again. That's what's going to happen. I don't know. What do you guys think? Why? Why is Jed not making the move?

00:13:10 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 2:

I think he's nervous.

00:13:12 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, I know. Helena, what do you think about this?

00:13:15 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 7:

I think it's the pressure, the pressure you guys are putting down on me.

00:13:20 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, we're not putting it down. He's putting it on himself.

00:13:24 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 7:

I just, I think it's the pressure from, you know, you guys should date, you guys make a cute couple. I think it just needs to happen organically, and then everything will be fine.

00:13:34 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think maybe there might be a little inner show pressure. Maybe Jed feels like it would be, you know, bad if the shows then, you know, had like a breakup or something like that. I get it. I get it. You're probably overthinking this, Jed. Just go for it. What's up, Christina? How you doing?

00:13:53 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Dude, you're killing me right now. The girl likes you. You like the Little Mermaid? Kiss the girl already. Jesus Christ.

00:14:03 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 1:

That's exactly what it is, Christina. It is the Little Mermaid. We go to kiss the girl.

00:14:10 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 7:

He's killing me. Like, oh, my God. You only live once. Go for it.

00:14:14 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 4:

I know. I know. And you know what? We love both of these guys so much. They're both so cute nerdy, you know, or nerdy cute. And they're perfect together. Tiffany's got some advice for KP. What's your advice, Tiffany?

00:14:28 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 6:

KP, I think you need to run because Dad is not sure enough. And, like, that scarcity comment, that little quote, the scarcity thing, was the most F-boy thing I've ever heard.

00:14:43 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 2:

I agree because these feelings that I'm having right now

00:14:47 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 5:

that I've had for the past three days are the same feelings that I had when I was with my really toxic ex.

00:14:51 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 3:

Uh-huh. Oh, man. You're not toxic masculinity. There's the trap card.

00:14:56 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 4:

No, listen. Listen, we're going to try to make this...

00:15:00 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 3:

You know what I need to do? I'm calling a timeout. I want a 20-second timeout over here. Let me pull my boy aside here. I'm going to give him a little talking to. And then let's run a long song. Can I play throwbacks or something like that?

00:15:15 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 1:

I wish I had to drop in front of me to play, You blew it!

00:15:21 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Tell us what you think. You can text at 95500. It's Mojo in the Morning. I mean, should KP run from Jed or maybe Jed just needs to go for it? You think I should fully send it? Dude, I'm going to say this to you. You're going to be, again, 50-year-old guy with your kids at the Cracker Barrel. Your kids are going to be driving you crazy. Stop hating on the Cracker Barrel, first off. It's delicious. All right. Begging for taffy. Yeah.

00:15:53 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 6:
