All right, Mojo in the morning show. We've got a scam coming up here in just a little bit. Have you guys got all your holiday shopping done? Have you guys done all your Christmas shopping?

00:01:23 - 00:01:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm taking Saturday morning to finish.

00:01:25 - 00:01:37 | Speaker 7:

I haven't even started. It's so bad. I know. It's horrible. All my friends are, like, going, KP, have you done any holiday shopping at all? Are you, you got so many family members. Do you guys pick, like, a spot?

00:01:37 - 00:01:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, plus, she and Lydia have been doing so much for the Breaking and Entering Christmas wishes. I was like, did you start shopping for your loved ones yet?

00:01:43 - 00:01:49 | Speaker 7:

What do you do with having, you know, five siblings or one of six? Do you guys buy for each other, or what do you do?

00:01:49 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 3:

So we do a family secret Santa where each of us will get one sibling, and then, like, every year we get a different sibling. but yeah i would be broke if we had to do that wow have you done any christmas shopping have you had a yeah so um i'm halfway through my christmas shopping and i'm super surprised because normally i don't get to my christmas shopping until like a week ahead and that's ridiculous because nothing's available anymore um but this year i decided to go a little early and i was actually making a return and i'm not kidding you i think i spent 40 minutes in line sorry i'm like out of from running from the producer suite. I spent 40 minutes in an imaginary line at Abercrombie.

00:02:29 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 4:

What do you mean imaginary line?

00:02:30 - 00:02:40 | Speaker 3:

We all thought that we were in line to do a return or to go buy our stuff, and we ended up just hanging out in the dressing room area and not even realizing we're not in line. The line is so long.

00:02:40 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 2:

Which Abercrombie were you at? It was Somerset Mall. It happens to me all the time. I don't know what the deal is where there is so much confusion right there because you know what it is? people line up to show their codes to do the pickup for something that they shipped to the store or whatever and they don't distinguish what the lines are for that that has bitten me in the

00:03:00 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 3:

butt so many times and by the time i had gotten to the front when i realized that there i wasn't in line um they had someone training there was only two people in the whole store which i feel awful about everywhere seems so short-staffed and the guy was just like asking the customers for help how to use the computer because they are so they're struggling man but nobody will talk to you

00:03:20 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 2:

there that's the other thing nobody will say hey what is everybody in line for right here just making sure this is the line for pickup this is the line if you need to return or buy something

00:03:28 - 00:03:37 | Speaker 4:

nobody will talk to you which sounds like such a common problem you think they would want to avoid aggravated shoppers and cut it off early and just let you know well there's a pile that's as high as

00:03:37 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 3:

mount everest behind them of clothes they are there they only have two people to do every job in the store yeah so i don't blame them i'm not angry it's just like i i was actually more angry i couldn't get connected to the guest wi-fi to get my order pulled up because like no service but yeah i don't know got me thinking about like holiday chaos and what have you found in your store that's crazy like i've heard crazy holiday stories of like people like peeing in dressing

00:04:05 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 7:

rooms oh my gosh fighting people for stuff okay 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 the holiday shopping nightmare hold on randall has a very good question to ask you kp producer kp what's that Randall.

00:04:20 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I was going to ask what you got Jed for Christmas. Oh.

00:04:24 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, I wonder what Jed got me for Christmas. Two-way street here.

00:04:30 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 7:

Well, you guys aren't going to see each other at Christmas, though. You're going to see each other after Christmas. Yeah. So maybe you guys don't have to.

00:04:36 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think that's going to be like a... Randall's like, I'm out. No, he's like, no, I don't want to get into this anymore. I don't want to open a can of worms. Yeah, I'm going to close this can of worms, actually.

00:04:44 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's so funny. Oh, so you have plans to see each other?

00:04:46 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 3:

We may or may not have some plans. to see each other. We'll see. Thanks, Mike. Thanks.

00:04:54 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Texture here says that they work at, and I won't say the name of the store because I don't want it to come out, but Cape...

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 8:

is absolutely right. People will pee in the dressing rooms. What is the deal? You don't have time to go to the bathroom so you just pee in the dressing room? What in the world?

00:05:09 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 7:

They just got so nervous.

00:05:11 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

Customers are a nightmare. The stuff that goes on, I can't

00:05:14 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 8:

believe it. Mojo, I work at a Macy's. We have to spend over an hour and a half at the end of the night refolding everything because people are savages

00:05:22 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 5:

with their clothes. I remember that at Christmas time working in retail. Sarah, what's up?

00:05:26 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 8:

It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:05:27 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. Hi.

00:05:29 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 6:

I work at Kroger, and I have people, I work at the one at 12 and see this in the marketplace.

00:05:33 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

00:05:34 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. And they literally stop in their tracks when they look at the line and just leave the food there.

00:05:40 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 8:

Because they don't want to have to wait in the line, and you guys got to put all that stuff away? Yes. What is up with people?

00:05:46 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 7:

Well, that's what happened at Abercrombie. People kept coming in, and they look at the line, and they go, oh, hell no, and they turn around and leave. You're waiting that line for that long.

00:05:55 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 1:

Kroger, they've ruined the food if they just leave it there and it's not back in the refrigerator. Yeah, that's a different story.

00:05:59 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 7:

That's bad, but there are plenty of stores that have 80 different checkout aisles, and none of them are open but the self-checkout, and it drives me nuts.

00:06:10 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 8:

That's crazy.

00:06:11 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 6:

But that's the issue. We don't have the staff to run the self-checkout, so can you bring someone up? I'm like, who do you want me to pull? Yeah.

00:06:20 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 5:

Not everybody is trained on a register. Well, and what I found, too, is you can't make returns at the self-checkout. So if you have a return, like this happened to me the other day at Michael's. I was trying to look for somebody, but they only wanted you to use the self-checkout. You know what's super awkward?

00:06:38 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's the thing. Like, if you can only do the service desk, and on top of that, 90% of the service desks at any Kroger are closed. We are the only one that's open in our area.

00:06:49 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 8:

Wow. Yeah, we need some more people. What was that, KP?

00:06:53 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 7:

No, going back to the whole clothing situation where everyone just throws clothes everywhere, it's super awkward when you're trying to find your right size and somebody had just folded that pile and you're going to re-end you the pile and you're looking like you're like, oh, I'll fold it again.

00:07:06 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 1:

I end up sitting there and folding it. I mean, and then folding it back up and I'm like, I should have brought my clipboard to fold it.

00:07:11 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 8:

I just grab it and run and hope that they don't see me.

00:07:16 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 2:

This is another Mojo in the Morning Holiday Shopping safety tip. When you're looking for someone to fight with over the last 50% off item, Don't pick the woman who wears the I'm with stupid shirt. We'd hate for stupid to show up. It's Mojo in the Morning.
