Mojo in the Morning Show. The phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. This is one that I think a lot of parents can relate to, or maybe you can relate to, ruining something for your parents when you were younger. Because all I can think about is my grown-ass son, Joe, who has cost me more money than any human being possible, with not just the expenses of taking care of him and providing for him and giving him schooling and all that stuff, but all the stuff that he broke of mine over the years.

00:03:13 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 3:

uh what did smith do add it to the tab smith lyle strikes again uh remember when i i got that new couch and like an hour after it was delivered i was doing laundry and i turned around and he had colored all over it with a not washable red marker and now he's very he's very very proud if you come to my house ever he will take you right to that couch and show you i did that his

00:03:36 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 5:

artwork his artwork by the way garner white is actually using his designs right now at their

00:03:41 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 3:

It's like a trend. Well, this weekend, I bought a new rug from Target for my front porch. And, I mean, I've had the same rug for a couple of years now. It was time to get a new one. So I pick it up. I put it down. Less than five minutes after I unrolled this thing, Smith was sitting out there on the rug, and I handed him his lunch, which was hot dogs with ketchup, Lots and lots and lots of ketchup Because the kid cannot get enough ketchup

00:04:13 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 5:

I love ketchup too

00:04:14 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 3:

He takes his plate And he dumps it instantly On the brand new rug Very light colored rug By the way too I was so mad

00:04:25 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 5:

That's the thing by the way with kids Kids find They find the whatever item it is That you are fond of At that moment and they figure out a way to make you really upset by doing something to it. I always feel like that's kind of the thing.

00:04:43 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 3:

And he's so cute. He just looks at me with that face. I can't even yell, but all inside, I was so pissed.

00:04:49 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 5:

It's lucky that it wasn't Lucy, because obviously Smith is your favorite, and God help Lucy. I mean, you can see it on your social media that that's the case.

00:04:57 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 3:

I would have given her away.

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Lucy would have been at...

00:05:00 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 3:

Dad's house for as long as she possibly could live there until she was 18. Can I tell you, this, by the way, is a good topic of what did your kids ruin or what did you ruin as a kid? Joe, I go back to Joe for a second. I bought a brand new car and I will never forget it. It was like a dream come true for me to own this thing. I was so excited about this car and I got it, pulled it into the driveway. I was doing the whole thing, even where you shine it with your sleeve of your arm, and you just try to make the thing look nice. You can't have nice things in my house. That was something my dad used to always say all the time, and now I'm going to carry that on. Joe comes out playing on his bicycle. The handlebar of the bicycle completely goes.

00:05:50 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, no. Yes. No.

00:05:52 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 3:

I got a pinstripe on that thing that I didn't even want

00:05:55 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 2:

Okay, that's way worse than ketchup on a rug

00:05:58 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, although the marker one I'm not trying to compete I'm not trying to compete The marker one is pretty damn good

00:06:05 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 2:

The marker's still there

00:06:06 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 3:

Smith Lyle

00:06:07 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 2:

Maybe tied with Joseph Patrick

00:06:10 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 3:

On that one Have your kids done this to you, Mike? Have your kids ruined anything?

00:06:18 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

Like right after you got it Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah So Milo, who's got a little arm on him, he's got like a, like, I think he's going to be really, really good at like sports through a, yeah. I mean, he's already thrown your tiger. Maybe, maybe he threw a baseball at my TV and yeah, yeah. And completely broke the TV. Yeah. Oh my God. Which I was like, at the time I was like, oh my gosh, that's awesome. You got such a great arm. And then I realized it shattered the whole TV.

00:06:48 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 3:

The worst part is that it doesn't, does it completely break the TV or just in a spot? So now you can never, like, if you're watching, like, a game or something like that, you can't see that one spot on the TV.

00:06:58 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 1:

So it's in the corner. Yeah, yeah. It's right in the corner. So there's a crack, and it's not completely broken, so I haven't taken it in to get it fixed yet. But, yeah.

00:07:05 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 3:

You can't see the score.

00:07:07 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:07:07 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 3:

You have to look at your phone. Megan, I know you don't have kids, but you for sure have done this to your dad. What have you ruined of your father's?

00:07:15 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 4:

At this point, it's hard to just say what I haven't ruined. Mostly stuff around his house. One time we went on a weekend trip, and I left my straightener on on the carpet. It's amazing that the house is still standing. That carpet was ruined. I had a waxing kit at home because I thought for some reason I could give myself bikini waxes. That was going to be not a problem. But there are two different kinds of waxes. There's hard wax and soft wax that you would put into a warmer. I bought the soft wax, which means that spilled out into the drawer in my bathroom, caked the entire bottom in an inch of soft wax that was non-removable and ruined an entire vanity in a bathroom, left the windows open during a storm, ruined the drywall under the windows from water down.

00:08:01 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

Man, I think you have just surpassed Smith, Lyle, and Joseph Patrick.

00:08:06 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 4:

What's your middle name, Megan? Lee. Megan Lee. Yeah, a couple of ovens were destroyed because I set them on fire. Oh, that's right.

00:08:13 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 3:

That's right. You talked about that just on the show.

00:08:16 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

It's amazing that everybody's still alive in my life.

00:08:18 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 3:

Jessica, what did your kids ruin?

00:08:22 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 7:

My brand new couch.

00:08:24 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gosh.

00:08:25 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 7:

White couch. They shoved cinnamon twist from Taco Bell into the cushion.

00:08:30 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 3:

Those are really good.

00:08:31 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 7:

Those are really good.

00:08:32 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 3:

So is there, like, brown marks all over the place on the white couch?

00:08:35 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 7:

There's sugar and everything shoved in between. I don't think it'll ever come out.

00:08:40 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Does it look like somebody sharted themselves on that thing?

00:08:45 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 7:

No, but it's bad. Don't ever put your hands in between my cushions.

00:08:51 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I've had more than just you say that to me. What's going on? How you doing, Kaylee?

00:08:57 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 6:

Hey, so my daughter, like four hours after my husband bought his brand new car, he was my boyfriend at the time, my daughter threw up all over it. His first ever brand new car.

00:09:08 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:09:09 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 6:

He always bought cheap junk cars, his first ever nice car, all over it.

00:09:15 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 3:

And you can never get that smell out no matter what you think.

00:09:17 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:09:18 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 3:

It's awful.

00:09:18 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 6:

We tried. It's been five years now. It's still disgusting.

00:09:21 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 3:

But she's his daughter, and you know what?

00:09:24 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 6:

No, she's not.

00:09:25 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she's not. It's your daughter.

00:09:26 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 6:

No. Yeah, my daughter.

00:09:28 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 3:

Your daughter. I'm sorry. Stepdaughter, then, maybe. What's up, Ashley?

00:09:32 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Yeah, so I was like four years old. My mom got a brand-new Purple Sunfire, and I took one of those little white garden rocks and wrote my name, Ashley, on it. Oh, God. Oh, that's bad.

00:09:46 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 3:

Man.

00:09:46 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 5:

A lot of stuff with nail polish remover as well.

00:09:50 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez. Yeah. By the way, the worst is when your kid writes into your car, but also when they write into it and they misspell.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 5:

Whitney, what's happening?

00:10:02 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 9:

Good morning. How are you guys?

00:10:04 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 5:

We're great. What's going on?

00:10:06 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 9:

Not much. So it wasn't me or my kid, but it was my boyfriend when he was a kid. And he went over and took his hose to the neighbors and sprayed inside their window on their furniture. Bring them to their furniture and ruined their furniture.

00:10:24 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's bad. Did they hate him forever? Was that?

00:10:28 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 9:

Oh, dad had to replace the furniture.

00:10:32 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez.

00:10:34 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:10:35 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 9:

Yeah.

00:10:35 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 6:

That's a conversation you get from your mom, too, where you're like, wait till your father gets home. Right. Wait till your father gets home and sees this.

00:10:43 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, James?

00:10:45 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 3:

All right. So when my oldest son was about three years old, I was having a pay-per-view party. And my ex-wife went and bought a brand-new prop-pot, plugged it in the kitchen. She was getting, like, little weenies ready or whatever it was. And we hear this noise, so I ran out in the kitchen. My oldest son took a pair of scissors and cut the crock pot while it was plugged in. Oh, jeez. So the paramedic said, luckily he had shoes on. It didn't hurt him, but he took off running. So now we call him Shot Tart. That's his nickname.

00:11:17 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That poor guy. Jeez. A science experiment that you should not try. Dawn, what's up?

00:11:28 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 10:

Hi. Well, my son was just about three years old, and we were, I had him in the car seat. I mean, this was a long time ago because he's like 36 now. And I was backing out of the driveway, and I had the automatic on the floor, backed up, put it in park, got out to go and close the garage door. And when I turned around, the car was right behind me. He had gotten out of his car seat, and I moved just in time as he was going through the garage door.

00:12:00 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Wow. He got in and actually got the car to move and go through the garage door at three years old?

00:12:06 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 10:

He was in the car seat. Yeah, he was in the car seat, but in the front seat, because back then, they could be right there in the front seat. Sure, sure. Yeah, and he got out and was standing right there, you know, where you put your feet. Right. and actually moved the gear shift, and I quickly was able to get back in the car just as we were pointing out the back of the garage.

00:12:32 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. And was that the worst accident he ever got in in all of his life?

00:12:40 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, so far.

00:12:41 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 5:

Thank God. Knock on wood, right? Yeah. I always say if that's the worst that happened to you, then we'll be happy about that. I say that to myself, too. how about this one samantha got a brand new computer and we're talking about how your kids can ruin everything what did your kid do so it was actually me when i was a kid

00:13:04 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 11:

my grandma had a computer room and it was one of those big boxy computers she also played bingo and so she had those big like bingo magnets and i thought it was cool the way that the magnet would make the screen change so i took the magnet and i waved it all over the

00:13:19 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 5:
