So this Kim and Kourtney Kardashian thing. First off, I normally don't follow any of their stuff, But Shannon has wrote some questions in the 5 at 6.55 that got me intrigued by going, oh, what's the feud between the sisters? Are they upset with each other?

Well, yeah, but it all really started when I went out to lunch yesterday with some of my girlfriends. And I think the number one topic of discussion across all of America was the submersive vehicle.

Otherwise known as everybody else, the sub, the Titanic sub.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, the Titanic sub. and we were talking about it and one of my girlfriends brought up the best point that I hadn't realized was happening and that's really, Kourtney Kardashian just can't catch a break right now and I do feel a little bit bad for her but also it is hysterical that all this seems to be happening to her at the same time. So the number one storyline on the Kardashians on Hulu right now is that Kim stole Kourtney's wedding deal with Dolce & Gabbana, right? Like that's the number one thing that they're talking about on the show and I was like, well yeah, they just needed a plot line for the show my girlfriend said no no no but wait not only is that happening you know not necessarily in real time but in real time and the fact that it's airing but kourtney kardashian announced last week at a blake 182 concert that she was pregnant and this week the only thing we're talking about is the billionaire stepson that went to a blake 182 concert so poor kourtney kardashian just keeps getting outshined and upstaged in every one of her big life moments

That's wild So you think that this is just A bad omen over her That she gets upstaged all the time

Well Karma is my boyfriend I don't know the rest of the words I'm not a swifty So

It's wild because The fact that this is happening And then Shannon reported in the dirty That some people are conspiracy theorists Enough thinking that this uh sub thing is keeping other stories out of the news all the biden stuff for example i i just sit there and i i go wow i know like i maybe i'm not smart enough to be a conspiracy terrorist or to to feel like something is uh is getting in the way you know what i mean

Although in the in the fact of Khloe Kardashian or Kourtney Kardashian, I actually like I'm happy about that because I don't know why. I don't know why it is, but I actually am team Kim on this.

We're all team Kim because Kim has a receipt. It's like a true lawyer. And if you watched last week's episode and she came out with every time she had worn an outfit that Kourtney had repeated, that was just chef's kiss. I actually love Detective Kim. She's my favorite version of Kim Kardashian. And better than businesswoman Kim, better than all that is Detective Kim and Lawyer Kim. She is by far the best. But it just got me thinking about people who had been kind of like outshined in their big life moments.

Give me an example of some people that could be calling up for this particular topic here about getting outshined.

Oh, somebody getting a proposal at their wedding? I think that's like number one go-to. Big no-no. Or maybe even because it's grad season right now. Anybody announce like a pregnancy at a grad party? Ooh, would that be an outshining thing? Absolutely. The day is not about you. The day is not about you. It's a graduate's day. Yeah.

Or would also, would one of those be like somebody coming to the grad party and everybody's excited about them or so? Like I've, so I've gone to like 8,000 grad parties and a couple of the grad parties have been combined grad parties where two kids are having grad parties at the same time. Did you ever see that at all? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. where people both graduate and their families decide they're going to do it. I feel bad for the family that I'm not really knowing that well. I'll bring a gift for each person, but obviously the card of the person I know has got more money in it than the card of the person that I don't know. But I always feel like at some of those grad parties, the outshine is there are more people excited for the one person than there is for the other person. You kind of feel bad when that happens

I mean we always talk about why you can't wear white To a wedding right because you're stealing away All of that attention from the bride

Another outshine moment could also be too How about this a person Gets a job Or gets a maybe Their work gives Them a higher title And right when they give them the higher title Something happens at that job That causes it to end up being Like a bigger story like something bigger happening where somebody gets a bigger sale or somebody gets something bigger going on. 844-MOJO-LIFE. Every day of my life. My life is a constant outshine.

Yeah. It's funny because when people do get outshined, I feel like they feel like it happens on purpose. I almost feel like it's not that. I think that they're putting too much into it. You know what I mean?

I generally wouldn't, like if somebody did that at my graduation party, I wouldn't care. I genuinely don't care. I think it's exciting news. I think it's a weird time to do it. But at the same time, I would be like, that's awesome. Like everybody can have a moment in the same moment. It doesn't have to be just about one person all the time.

Nope. Somebody spent a lot of money on that party. Nope. Yeah. Yeah, I agree with you, Megan.

Was it weird that when you had your baby that that's when a new member of the show started at that time? Did that feel like a moment for you, Mike?

Kev, are you living out your dream right now? Why does that matter? I see where he's going with this. It's a good thing.

No, it's a good thing. Am I trying to be nice? Yeah, I'm trying. Just answer the question.

If it's a yes, then it's a yes. No, are you happy? Yeah, I'm happy. Okay, then yes, that's a great thing. I don't care.

But that also wasn't intentional. It wasn't planned that way. With babies, that's one where it could happen. I mean, I remember when I got pregnant with Lucy and we were like announcing it to people. And then somebody who was very, very, very close to me who already had a lot of kids, but announced that they were pregnant as well. And I was like, but you can't like those are things that you can't help.

See, I never would have thought about it till you just said that. And now I go, I told you guys the due date. So you knew what it was coming. You brought Kevin. I don't care. Everybody can have a moment. What did you say the other day, Kev? I don't have to put out your light for me to shine or whatever. Yeah. Yeah. I don't have to do that. Enjoy your moment. I'll enjoy mine and we'll live together. Do you really believe that, Mike? No.

That sounds really good when I say it.

My favorite, though, are the people that are smart enough to think of doing that. Yeah, and they really plan. Like, honestly, like the people that can plan something to make it to make a story about them, you know, either go away or make a story about somebody else seem less. Yeah. I mean, more power to you. You had forethought. I'm not smart enough to think about stuff like that. Like, I'm not smart enough to to try to be thinking about the blink.

So it was not intentional by any means, but my mom invited my whole family out to breakfast, and it was like perfect timing because my husband and I had just eloped, and we were getting ready to announce it. And right as we announced it, my stepbrother started to say that him and his girlfriend were engaged.

So we totally outshined them unintentionally. Oh, no. Yeah. See, I mean, that's what I mean.

Hi. So this is something we kind of laugh about now. But at the time, my sister was not very happy. Granted, she was a teenager, but we were all out for her birthday dinner, opening presents, and the gift from my brother and sister-in-law was a framed ultrasound, and it was kind of those, like, oh, but, like, okay. That was her gift was the framed, like, you're going to be an aunt, and I think at the time she was kind of like, okay, I think she was probably, like, 16.

So she didn't take it as this is an exciting moment for her because it was her birthday. She took it as they were trying to outshine her by showing everybody that's how they were pregnant.

Oh, yeah. Yeah, and she was just kind of like, okay. And then it just kind of stole it away.

What birthday number was it?

She had to have been like 13, 14, something like that. Oh, okay, because I was going to say,

if it was like a monumental, like a 16th or a 21st or a 30th or something, 25th or whatever, if it was one of those, I would have said, okay, but it's like if it's your 13th birthday, so what? You're an aunt. You know what I mean?

She's the baby of the family, though, so I think she takes those things on.

I think that's a cool thing when you're an aunt.

You are wild. It's her birthday.

But it's you're an aunt. When you're a kid and you become an aunt or an uncle, that's exciting news.

But you're going to be pregnant for the next, let's say, 30 weeks. You have plenty of opportunities to not steal the shine from a child on your birthday.

You need therapy if you're a kid and that worries you. Come on.

You need therapy. I agree, especially if you're only 13.
