00:05:00 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 3:

of weddings. Was this weekend the last of the world tour?

00:05:04 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 1:

It was. It's kind of sad.

00:05:06 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 3:

The new era world tour has come to a close.

00:05:09 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

Thank God, I'm tired.

00:05:11 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 3:

And the wedding in Chicago this weekend for Erica. She looks so beautiful.

00:05:16 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 1:

Perfect bride.

00:05:16 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

Erica and Mark so happy together. That looked like a fun wedding. Was it a fun one? Did you text her? You know what? I tried not to. I tried not to and I will today. No, don't. No, let me say this to you. The problem is everybody on their wedding day, she's not going to read my text message. First off, I'm going to say this. She's going to probably have all of her bridesmaids and her family's text messages be the priority. My text message will just be the, okay, great, thank you, or a heart or something. I figure I'll wait a couple days until she's consummating her relationship, and then I'll give the voucher to Wawao.

00:05:52 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

Great call. She also had a three-day wedding, so you had plenty of time to sneak a text in there.

00:05:58 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 3:

How do you have a three-day wedding?

00:06:00 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I want to know how much she spent on this wedding so bad.

00:06:03 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 3:

For those who don't know Erica, Kev, I don't even think you know Erica. Erica is somebody who I met through Ellen, our old producer. They were roommates together.

00:06:14 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 1:

Absolute best friends.

00:06:15 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 3:

They were Buckeyes. They were the Ohio State Buckeyes.

00:06:20 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 1:

I was with Buckeyes all week. Thank God it was a Buckeye bye week.

00:06:25 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And Michigan lost, though. Yeah, they were probably still talking.

00:06:30 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 1:

No, Michigan didn't play. Michigan football doesn't exist this year. They didn't look like they played.

00:06:34 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:06:34 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 1:

Yip, yip, yip.

00:06:35 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. So Erica, and also Erica, is a record representative. Yeah, so she works with us. Who Tony Travato plays little of her music and it annoys the crap out of her. Tony doesn't play much music at all. If you notice, we play Doja Cat, Paint the Town Red still as a power record on the station.

00:06:53 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 1:

Do you know how hard it is when one of your best friends is trying to get a record to play and then she's texting me and I go, babe, you think I have any power around here? I'm sorry. I like the song. I don't know what to tell you.

00:07:03 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 3:

Did she have a lot of people come in from out of town? It seemed like it would probably because she's in Chicago, but she's not a Chicagoan. She's Chicagoan now because she lives there, but she grew up in what, Ohio?

00:07:15 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 1:

The Dayton area. Yeah, she's from Centerville, so she's right outside of Dayton. For all of our Toledo listeners, you are the only ones who know where Centerville is. I know Dayton Shout out to Dayton The Flyers It's close enough Close enough Yeah she's from there She had a bunch of people there Another record rep friend of ours Christian from LA came in I'm trying to think of who else came in from Out of town There's a lot of people I think that's the joy of her life and her job Is that people People leave the nest

00:07:47 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 3:

She's really loved though For all those people that want to travel in And see her on their big day That is very special

00:07:52 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 1:

even if you didn't like her which she's great she's one of my best friends but even if you don't like that girl knows how to throw a party it was fun she brought to it she have lewis capaldi performing at her i wish that would have been great that's one of her artists and i think he would have done it for her because of how close they are uh i think she just didn't ask but uh i'm actually surprised he didn't come i used to niall she would get mad because i would always

00:08:17 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

I would always call him Lewis Kilpatrick. I don't know why I got Kwame Kilpatrick and Lewis Capaldi mixed up.

00:08:24 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 1:

Is Lewis Capaldi good? Yes. And I'm kind of upset right now thinking about this because she knows that I'm actually in love with him. Like, he might be my soulmate. The way that we're so compatible, it's not even funny. I guess I kind of like the moon. Now the day bleeds and the nightfall.

00:08:43 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 3:

You know that. That nightfall sounds, yeah. Okay, real quick. I want to ask this question. I would like to ask a question of our listeners to start off the morning. Who's gone, and it doesn't have to be this summer, it could be any summer, who went to the most weddings in one particular year? Because I, and then I want to know how old you were at the time, because I want to match the year to Megan's, because Megan's age is exactly the year that you go to every single wedding.

00:09:07 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you don't even know how old I am. You said I was 36 the other day.

00:09:11 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

No, no. I know, I know you are, I don't know. I remember Joe Biden over here. Happy birthday. I remember your 30. Do you remember this song? This is Louis Capone.

00:09:28 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

We got to wait to the chorus, guys. I think this is the chorus.

00:09:35 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. How many weddings have you gone to in one year?

00:09:40 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 2:

was this her first dance no her first dance was to uh bleachers i think let's get married i always wondered when you When you're in the music industry, when you're a record rep representing major artists, and she does have some really good artists, or you're a non-air personality and stuff like that, you got to have a good first dance song because everybody's going to judge you by the songs that you choose. Because I remember when I got married, we had the DJ that did the Friday night and Saturday night dance parties doing our wedding. So he's throwing some good music together. You know what I mean? It'd be like Godfather here at the station or something like that, you know, doing it. Or Shortstop or one of those guys. Or Zach. Or Zach. Marsha Music. Or DJ Four Fingers. He might have made an appearance. But, yeah. He costs.

00:10:42 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of pressure. It is. She had great music, though. I will say, though, a lot of artists that weren't hers were played. Probably in heavier rotation than her artists.

00:10:51 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Because she's so tired of her own music, probably, right?

00:10:53 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know if it's that. I think the thing that we've bonded over the most is our love of Harry Styles. So there's a lot of Harry Styles at this wedding. Poor Mark. I don't think he chose a single song that got played all night.

00:11:04 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 2:

I don't think Mark's going to choose anything for the rest of his life.

00:11:06 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 3:

No, he's not. No, he is not. But he is along for the ride, and he is grateful to have her. Right? Yeah.

00:11:12 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay, texts that are coming in right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Call us up or text 95500. Texts that are coming in that are saying, Megan, I went to five weddings last summer. And by the way, I'm 28 years old. another one here that says they went to, this is a couple of summers ago, on my 31st year on this planet I went to 10 weddings in one year. 10? How expensive does 10 weddings get? Because what we've learned especially, and I'm assuming that that might have been a female that text into us because there was no spelling errors but I'm assuming you gotta buy dress and stuff

00:11:52 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 3:

I can't tell you how broke I am right now I'm so broke it's not even funny I feel like three is

00:11:59 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 1:

like Megan you did it right three is real because at that point if you have three I'm thinking you have real relationships with these people once they start getting into the eight nines double digits you don't really know these people

00:12:09 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 3:

but I also feel like everybody gets married at the same time like out of my Chicago friend group three girls are engaged right now to be married next year as well so like

00:12:19 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 1:

this is just a dress rehearsal for you

00:12:21 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 3:

It's going to be expensive.

00:12:23 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 2:

Poncho, how many in one year did you go to? I'm going to take a wild guess. It's maybe between 20 to 30, maybe a little more. Wow. And how many of those weddings did you choose the chicken? Oh, I didn't need any of them for the most part. Really? Why? Just because you got tired of eating bad wedding food? No, it's because I worked them. Oh, there we go. Wait, what do you do, Poncho?

00:12:48 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 1:

I used to work as a photo booth operator. where I go in and they do photo booths.

00:12:53 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 2:

Okay, all right. So you had to bring the photo booth. Pierre, hi, how many weddings did you have in one year?

00:12:59 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 1:

It'll be 29 next month.

00:13:02 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 2:

So this year, like Megan's, how old are you? How old are you? Pierre. I'm 34. 34 years. I'm 34. Okay, 34 years old. That's about the years I think that happens, right? It's between like 30 and 35 years old. Am I guessing in the right area, vicinity here, Megan? Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

00:13:24 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

I think it all started when we were like 28, and I think it'll stop when we're 35.

00:13:29 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Do these people not realize how expensive weddings are?

00:13:32 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 3:

If I could tell you how much I spent on this weekend.

00:13:36 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:13:38 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, with the hotel, the travel expenses, the outfits, the gift to the bride and groom, three days of activities, paying for stuff at the bars. The Ubers alone in Chicago this weekend. Parking for three days in the city.

00:13:54 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 2:

I'm guessing then you think about the wedding gift has got to be at least, what, $100, $150?

00:14:01 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 3:

More than it. More than it. It was a downtown Chicago wedding. I know my plate costs more than that.

00:14:07 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 2:

Megan's going to start selling more than just her feed pics, guys.

00:14:10 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 3:

Does somebody want to buy my eggs?

00:14:13 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 2:

There you go.

00:14:14 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 3:

The surrogacy place has said that I am not young enough, but I can strike a deal with a listener.

00:14:20 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

We're calling up Dr. Shama at IVF Michigan and the Ohio Fertility Center. We're going to get those things sold off.

00:14:27 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 3:

I'm broke.

00:14:28 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

This is funny. Mojo, you just talked about the chicken. I ate more chicken and fillets for an entire summer when we went to 12 weddings where five of them were at the same place. This is pretty wild. I wonder if that place was Palazzolo's or whatever it is over on the east side of town. Everybody always seems to, every wedding that I'm invited to is either Shenandoah, you know, for one of the venues or the east side of town. Is it Palazzolo's? Is that what it is?

00:15:00 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 4:

it is palazola what is it what's the place it's palazola grande and pennas that's it pennas yeah
