I I looked at the temperatures throughout our listening area and the highest temperature that you can find non wind chill temperature that you can find is six degrees, which that six degree temperature was just recorded in Pontiac, Michigan. But the lowest wind chill temperature that you can find in our listening area right now, it's even lower than what we got in West Michigan is 13 degrees in Ann Arbor.

So my Lord and Savior, Cardi B, once said, a hoe never gets cold, so.

And then there's that massive ice storm moving across the country. It's going to wreak more havoc as it gets closer.

Which is weird how that one's going to affect more the midsection of the country and a little bit south. I don't know if we'll get much of it in Detroit. Maybe they will where Megan lives.

Well, listeners here has given away tickets to the Winter Blast in Royal Oak, which they moved because of cold weather. So when you hear the winter blast is being moved because of cold weather, we're going to move it to February where it's going to be warmer, they said. And I was talking to our good friend John Witts, the organizer of that, this weekend. I said, isn't it funny, like, you had to move something to February to be warmer? But they just said it's, we can't risk our guests' health because it's going to be literally too cold to stand outside for 20 minutes. Dangerous. And I was checking out their ice skating rink in Royal Oak this weekend, and the rink at Royal Oak is kind of, it's beautiful downtown right across from City Hall and the library and everything. And while we were there, there was a couple, they were listeners, they came over and said hi. And I said, I'm going to talk about you guys because this is a great topic on the air. Asking listeners, what activity did you attempt just because the person you were dating was into it? Or what hobby did you take up? because the guy at the rink was attempting to ice skate, and he's dating a girl from Minnesota who was, you know, he was doing his best to show interest in her hobbies. She's an ice princess. Yes.

Right, right, right.

And he was yelling as she's trying to put a third pair of ice skates on his feet, he's yelling, my people are from the Caribbean. They don't do this. And, you know, she's so used to the cult. So I'm guessing she's either a professional skater or she works at a rink. She had a hat on from a rink, and she's like, this is what I do. And he was doing his best. He was a good boyfriend.

That's either something that makes you look super cute or makes you look super dorky and bad. You know what I mean?

I think it makes you look cute for trying. I think that's awesome. But it also risks you could have a big fight.

I dated a girl one time and had to do bowling. And now I'm not saying bowling is bad because I know we've got a lot of bowling fans here. But I dated her one time and she was like, yeah, like we're really, you know, my family's really big on bowling. Would you want to fill in? We're doing a family bowling night. And it was like the worst thing ever because I was like a bad bowler. And I'm still a bad bowler. And her dad.

Dad never let me live it down during the time. I'm like, this is not going to work out here.

She might give you points for participation, but the rest of the team is going to be angry. Yeah, the whole family.

I couldn't skate backwards. So I remember in high school, like I'd be working on some girl flirting with her for like the whole day. And then as soon as couple skate came on, I'd watch her go over to some cute guy, start skating. I'm like, well, here I go back to the arcade.

Of course. He is my soulmate. We've been together for two and a half years.

First of all, they are the cutest couple together. I mean, they're just adorable. But you've been together two and a half years, and he's never put on the skates before?

No, he has. I've taken him skating like twice. Wait, he has, and he looked like that?

Oh, boy, he has. I was giving him the benefit for the doubt.

Okay, I do have to give him credit because those skates are very uncomfortable. I have custom figure skates that I've had for many years, and we both have very bony ankles. So I tried to just give him all of my everything.

What does he make you do that he's really good at, but you're not so great at? at because he's got to give it back to you you know and by the way keep it clean we got kids

sometimes sometimes drive faster than i'm comfortable with oh okay all right then in the

bedroom thanks ashley chloe what's going on we're talking about uh what did you do because you were you know interested in the person what that you weren't very good at yeah yeah so i got into

fantasy football from my boyfriend. But did you stick with it?

And I did. I played in a league this year and I got second place. Second to my boyfriend.

Did you pick it off the players or did you pick it off the color of the team because they had a cool name?

I actually researched and picked it off of the players. I had a great team.

Wow. My wife did that and she picked the colors of the team and won the stupid thing.

But you know what? In her case, it was good that she came in second place. Next year, if she beats him, watch. This guy's going to be a little bit like, eh, I don't know if I want to date this girl after that. No guy wants to get beat by somebody that's new to the game. What's going on, Kim? We're voice disguising you.

So I actually took things to the extreme to be with this person. I actually started swinging because he was into that lifestyle.
