Do people ever celebrate their engagement anniversaries?

I don't know. I've never been engaged.

Well, we got engaged, which is funny because I was remembering when we got engaged and the engagement came after a bar night at the Pacific Beach Club in Tucson, Arizona. That was a place where the Pacific Beach Club was to Tucson, what Clutch Cargo's was to Detroit.

Iconic.

And for those who don't know what a clutch car goes or a Pacific Beach Club is, it was basically like this dive club that, you know, people would go to and they would dance to songs and get drunk and they would have drink specials and stuff like that. It was nice. Yeah. Did y'all have like water fights in there? It was a little divey. Like bubble parties? They had all kinds of stuff at both places. Both places would do it right. And they were great advertisers of the radio station. So you go out there and do it. Well, Chelsea and I went to my bar night and then afterwards I proposed to her. And I'll never forget this. And this is actually where I come up with this topic. I would love to have, and some of them could be funny. Some of them could be serious. Some of them could be honestly scary. They proposed to me. They asked me to marry me. And I said blank or they said blank. I want to know besides yes, what was said after they said, will you marry me or did the proposal? Because when I proposed to Chelsea and I said, will you marry me? she said did you ask my dad that was literally that was literally the thing that she asked she goes you better have asked my dad had you i had to had to ask asked her dad yeah what he said was it a clear yes it was it was honestly if it was if i asked her dad months prior to that it probably would have been a hell no you know it would have been uh you're not uh you're you're not the person that i actually see my daughter uh marry but um when i asked her i think he realized

that uh that i was a good guy i feel like you need a proposal she needs a proposal redo well our proposal was like after i'm after she came to your bar gig it was after no is after the bar gig

yes and we were laying on the floor from the bar gig and we were just laying there but see the problem was that she would put on her wedding ring a bunch she knew exactly where the engagement ring was so she was already kept it so she was like wearing it to school and so i do remember that yeah did your guys ask your dad i hate you what

all the guys you've been engaged to ask your dad yes how am i supposed to ask that question they

they did yeah did you ever when they asked you see that's weird when they did you because my mind is like in chelsea's case where she's wearing a wedding ring already in my mind that's a she's gonna say yes there's not an inclination in her mind of maybe yeah the times where you were asked when you said yes was there ever a hesitation or you knew immediately she went to freaking paris Do you think she's going to say, no, I won't say this.

So I was engaged to a musician. I don't even know if you know this for a very brief, a brief period of time. So I've actually been engaged three times. That's why I laugh when you said that. And I, it's hard to keep track. I tally it like we tally the throwback throwdown. He, I, the, the way that he asked, I remember when he asked me in the pit of my stomach, my gut was telling me this is probably not a good idea and I pushed past it thinking a lot of things would change and they didn't and I still think about like always listen to your gut so I said yes because I was excited the ring was insane I wanted to be with him did that help the ring though being insane yeah but I wanted to be with him I truly did want to be with him thought things would change

My niece got proposed to, and I thought their proposal was beautiful. It was over the river there in Chicago, like right next to where the Trump Tower is in Chicago. You know where that is? Okay, where they paint it green or dye it green. Yeah, where they dye the river green. And they were both going to exercise or whatever, and they were wearing, I don't know, sweat pants or Lululemons or whatever the deal is. And he proposed to her on that bridge, which was one of her favorite places ever. the craziest was she did not know the proposal was coming because she thought for sure it would be like how proposals are nowadays where everybody gets dressed up and does it nice but it was so perfectly done because if you uh and he had it prepared where a photographer was off in the distance and there's always photographers just taking pictures on that bridge yeah and um she was like freaking out but her pictures though are funny because they're really authentic because

She looks like she's all sweaty from the day, and they're running. And so she felt, like, kind of excited, but also felt like, ah, I wish I would have been a little nicer dressed. Sabrina, are you there?

no it was a 24 hour uh night that i had pulled i had had surgery we got home that morning at like seven and i walked out to the kitchen and he was on one day proposing and i just laughed at him i went to bed and i woke up the next like a couple hours later eight hours later and was like why are

you mad at me what happened oh my god what did he say so you were under the influence of meds from

your surgery still um yes but i also really just thought he was kidding i was like there's no way

this is happening especially right now so did you did he repose i don't even know how to say it

no no um about six months later i said all right enough of this we're going to buy a ring today so he didn't have a ring the day of your surgery he just got done he had one he had one but i didn't feel like it was appropriate to wear that one because I don't think he was going to give it to me. So I went and picked one that I liked instead. Wow. There's a little complicated

situation there. You guys are still together? Yeah. Marrying two months. Okay. And still together. Yeah. That's a wild story. All right. I asked her to marry me and she did blank. What's

going on rosie hi good morning good morning so i got a unproposal before i got proposed if that is a thing what do you mean an unproposal so he says it's been a surprise that he's had this whole big plan on our trip that we're going to but then we get in a big fight and then he says oh what a joke to think i was gonna propose to you so does that count as a proposal no oh my god i don't I don't think so either. Yeah, that's what I said.

That's crazy.

That's why I think you probably would have got told no.

her in the middle of the night i was i was impatient and i had this whole thing planned out it was storming i thought i could slip the ring on her uh during the middle night i kept botching it because i couldn't remember what finger to put it on and then uh she um when she finally woke up and she's and she said what is this i got on one knee and i proposed to her in And her first response was, I wish I wore better underwear. Wait, what a good story.

Hey there. So mine's not as exciting, but I lived in Iowa where I'm from. And the special thing was my husband proposed to me on the patio where we had our first date. Then I walk in and sitting in a booth, he flew in his parents and my parents were sitting in a booth. And I just lost it out of excitement. for the great lengths that he went to, but yeah.

So I got engaged to on Lake Erie on this boat club in a little kind of cement dock, and it had little cracks in it. And so when he proposed, I literally looked at him and I go, don't drop the ring in the water. And he kind of looks at me and he goes, I know, I know. And of course, you can hear it on like the video. And I'm like, what? That's the worst thing that could happen. You need to see those videos.

Oh, that's funny. Could you imagine if you scared him enough to drop that ring? You hear those things happen all the time. Those poor people that had that happen. Like there's so many people that get proposed to on Walloon or Torch Lakes. They're such beautiful lakes. and somebody was telling me that there's at least five or six rings inside of each of those lakes from people screwing up and dropping them and then bouncing off the boat. That is crazy.
