All right, Mojo in the morning show. We talked in trending news about this. And then briefly I mentioned this. And then Spike's like, we should bring this up as a topic. You know, there's been all the stories that have been coming out about these these documents that Biden, Trump, Pence, like all these guys have had like they're they're the secret documents. What do they call them?

They're called classified classified.

And in some cases they were top secret, top secret, classified documents that they're keeping in their garage next to their Corvette or in the basement or, you know, in a locked closet. And we jokingly mentioned during Trending News yesterday about how I wonder, you know, if there are people that take things or steal things from work and take things home. And we didn't have time to take calls because the show was over with at that point. We weren't going to go over time. And we figured that would be a good opportunity to, like, just throw it up there. Like, what do you have from your work that you're not supposed to have at home?

I think there's something about the last two years of people working from home that then when they started going back to work and some people were a little loosey-goosey with, well, I'm working from home three days a week, so I'm going to need these supplies to take with me and stuff. But even before COVID, it went a lot further than that. Everybody I know in the healthcare industry, oh, they help themselves to medical supplies, first aid supplies, sometimes even if they can get their hands on some stuff. But it could go to any occupation, maybe something in the donut shop. I'd take the donut maker home.

Or at least take a big old thing of donut mix.

Yeah, or what about this week? Has anyone ever borrowed a snowplow for the night?

Oh, yeah.

So we have a red Chevy, I believe, pickup truck in the parking lot that the engineers don't use. They don't drive. They won't use. And I thought to myself, I'm like, that thing is just sitting there. And when KP had her tires balled and couldn't drive around, I'm like, KP, just take one of these vehicles home.

You actually should have done that.

Like, honestly, how many, it would be actually a good thing to see that car move because it's now it's, you know, piles of snow. It's just been sitting there. Yeah.

I don't know if that's a safer option. These cars haven't moved in a long time.

I've wondered about this with people that have, like, work trucks or company trucks. How many of you whose trucks are parked in front of houses are supposed to be taking those trucks home or your work cars home or police officers? If you're a police officer, can you take your squad car home?

Yeah, some do just because the mileage, you know, they rather waste company gas than their own personal gas if they could drive the company car. I remember one time I drove the radio station truck home overnight because I was doing a break and entering Christmas wish really early the next morning. And so I'll never forget how excited all the kids in my neighborhood were to see the radio station vehicle. And they were all coming over to my driveway, taking pictures with it and everything. And I was like, wow, I, you know, for me, it was convenient to just be able to drive the company car home. and then go right to that house instead of having to come into work an hour early, loaded, all that stuff.

Joe, Joe Show, Joe, my son, it's weird, how do you refer to him? But his lease is coming up, and he's going into a blazer. He's getting out of a Chevy Colorado, and he was getting over miles. So he decided he was going to take home one of the station vehicles. Well, he ended up taking home the station vehicle that had everything packed up for a promo that was supposed to do.

Oh, my gosh.

So they called and said, we need the vehicle back. So Joe had to become the station promo person. He had to go out and set up the tents and all that stuff.

He's like, I'll never do that.

He's like, I'd rather just pay the tent 20 cents a mile or whatever it is. Nick, how you doing?

Good. So what do you have from work that you're not supposed to? Classified documents.

I wish. Yeah, I work maintenance at a country club, and I would stockpile my tools. So I practically stocked my entire toolbox with tools from work.

Oh, yeah. Do they miss them, or is it, like, have you been busted before?

No, I don't work there. It's been a few years since I've worked there now. But, no, I worked there for many years, and just every year would take a few things here and there. I think mostly I borrowed them, and they just stayed at home.

I bet you that's common because tools are so expensive.

I wonder if you work at a country club, do you make your own putting green in your backyard?

Hi. I actually used to work at Starbucks, and they were so strict about everything. Like, you weren't allowed to take home any of the food that was going to get thrown out that day because they literally considered it theft and would write you up for it if they caught you.

Even if it's going in the trash.

Right? We weren't even allowed to donate it. Some of us brought that up, and they're like, no, it's theft. And it was the dumbest thing. You weren't even allowed to make drinks for yourself on shift.

I didn't realize that. I always thought that that would be, like, the greatest place to work.

Well, the biggest perk, yeah.

I would take home the straws. I always liked those green straws. although some places don't have them now.

Please, how much stuff I would take home. Like, I would actually go to the freezer and take cake pops home.

Right when we were getting that Christmas storm, I had used the work truck to help me move from Toledo to Bowling Green, and I was sitting at a red light down in BG and had blown all the tires just for not being on the road.

Wait, were you responsible then for replacing those tires?

No. Luckily, the work came through, but they were helping out, and it was my last week due to it being winter, So it's just kind of like a bad storm of events, but it worked out.

we're getting a lot of mess saying they donate the food they they do let you have a bag of coffee that you can make your own drinks on staff so maybe she works at one of those licensed off

brand ones can i tell you what i wish i would have stolen and never did i was doing a stage announcements for boys to men like this was a few years ago when they were touring or whatever and i was backstage and i'm going to send you guys a picture they had these boys to men microphones in the back and i'm standing there just looking at them and i'm like oh my god they're like bedazzled they say boys to men on them and i want to take one i wanted to take one because how awesome would that have been to go to a karaoke bar and sing boys to men Oh, my God.

Then it was supposed to be August. Then now it's September. Guys, I'm not kidding you when I say this to you.

I hope we get in by the end of our contract.

I don't think. I think our contracts will expire. And honestly, I don't think we'll ever move in. I think we'll be evicted out of this place.

Well, the outside's fine. It's the guts of the building, all the wiring and electronics and radio equipment that's stolen.

Here's what I'm guessing. We're going to be brought. This is my honest guess of what's going to happen. We're going to end up moving to like Auburn Hills to like an office building that they just found at the last minute because for some reason that's the only place that will take us.

I don't know. I just talked to the boss yesterday. They said that we're going to be doing the show from your basement. in your house honestly i'm fine with that the commute is actually great for me it's 38 steps as long as you don't make us shovel the driveway when we get there i will be absolutely happy to

work yeah so when i was in my late teens early 20s i worked for a company that uh set up bounce houses and um i lived in the same apartment complex as the owner so uh we would set them up on saturdays and sundays and so from saturday night to sunday i would keep them in my truck well when we got home on saturday night and all my friends got off work we would start drinking and partying and set up the bounce houses and jump on them well one saturday night the owner was at a wedding and he comes driving in the apartment complex at one in the morning and he saw us. He was so mad.
