00:00:32 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 8:

Oh my God. I am the biggest idiot. So, um, I am taking a little road trip with the kids this weekend. They don't know that I'm actually surprising them after the show today. And so I needed someplace to put my, my little toy poodle, my little Charlie and my dad loves having Charlie and Charlie lives like a King at my dad's house. So it's like a perfect situation. So my mom helped me out and yesterday morning grabbed the dog from my house and dropped him off at my dad's house because it's on her way home my parents are divorced by the way if you're a new listener to the show so it was really really nice that it works out this way well yesterday I had kind of a long day and after the show I had some appointments and stuff I get home and anybody who has a dog for the most part knows that when you walk through that door it is the best feeling in the whole entire world to have your dog so excited to see you oh yeah you know it's the only person excited to see you sometimes you know so i i just like love having charlie you know when i walk in through that garage door he is his little butt shaking his tail's wagging and he like wants to go outside he wants to play so i get home yesterday and nothing it's quiet and i'm like well that's weird and I always get a little nervous because Charlie's 13 and a half like he's getting up there and I'm like oh god my mind instantly goes to I hope he's okay so I go over to the place where he has his little bed next to the vent because he always likes to sit you know and lay by the heat vent where it's warm no Charlie you guys I am like where in the heck is my dog and panic starts to set in so I start yelling for him all around the house thinking Like, maybe he was laying on the floor in Lucy's room or my room or something, walked through my whole entire house. Charlie, Charlie, where are you? Nothing. And then all of a sudden, like five to ten minutes later, okay, I'm like, oh, Charlie's not even here. He's at my dad's.

00:02:30 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, you forgot that he was going over there. Oh, jeez.

00:02:33 - 00:02:36 | Speaker 8:

You guys, I literally about had a damn heart attack.

00:02:37 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:02:37 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 8:

And the dog was very well taken care of. He was not at my house. Totally forgot. Yeah.

00:02:41 - 00:02:50 | Speaker 7:

I always panic because I've done this before. I have two dogs that are like your dogs And I've taken them out to go to the bathroom And forgot one of them outside

00:02:50 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 8:

I have done that before too

00:02:51 - 00:02:53 | Speaker 7:

Well you only have one, how do you forget one dog?

00:02:53 - 00:03:15 | Speaker 8:

Because I let him out And he literally I let him out into the backyard or even the front yard And he goes and he pees on his tree He might wander a little bit in the yard And then he comes right back and sits by the door to be let back in And so sometimes as he's doing that I'll go and make a coffee Or throw a load of laundry in or whatever And then my brain just faces And I'm like oh crap the dog's still outside I hear him barking, you know.

00:03:16 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 2:

Wow. I have done that before where you forget you put them out. But I don't know how you forget. I think it would be harder to forget one of two because you're letting one in so you know there's another one out there.

00:03:24 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 7:

Well, no, they run in so fast you think that the other one ran in. I think it's more – I'm sorry, I'm past judging. I don't think I'm as bad a dog owner as she is. She's only got one dog. One dog you've got to forget about. I mean, come on. How do you forget about one dog?

00:03:39 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 3:
