all right it is the mojo in the morning show and shannon i'm so happy to know that i'm not the only person with a big old s on top of my head saying sucker it's both of us good it's the

random ads that play in between the instagram stories of people that i know is that where

you're a sucker well you're just a sucker all around mine are so so mine is you know i go I scroll through Instagram, and as I'm scrolling through it, it goes, fresh tees. I'm like, oh, what is fresh tees? T-shirts for fat guys. I'm like, oh, okay. Buy some of those. So I was talking to Woody about this the other day, from the Woody Show, you can hear on our iHeartRadio, and he and I both fell for the fresh tees Instagram ad, and now our wives are both really upset because we've got $800 in T-shirts at our house right now because of this.

Are they expensive?

No, they're cheap.

You just buy a lot of them?

Yeah. A pack of three t-shirts cost $20, but I think I bought $800 worth of t-shirts. That's how many I have. I'm like, wow, these things fit really good.

So, well, this isn't t-shirts. This is, I kept, and I kept seeing it over and over and over again. And so finally I stopped on it and I watched The Stupid Thing. And it's like this cream that will help tighten the skin on your stomach. And I've talked about this either on the show or the podcast. I can't remember before. But that's been a huge problem for me since having Smith. The kid absolutely wrecked my stomach. I call it my alien stomach because it's so wrinkly and weird now. But even the ad for this tummy cream is stupid, yet I fell for it. I tried to record part of it on my phone. This is it right here.

From this to this for less than 50 bucks. My dermatologist told me loose skin sits on top of muscles, which is why working out and losing weight weren't fixing it. She recommended this clinically proven belly firming cream that strengthens skin. Be flat by Maley's. Yeah, I'm like...

Sold! They probably photoshopped the pictures, and I'm like, oh, but I'm buying it. So $40-something later, I just got it in the mail a couple of days ago, and I've been putting it on, which, by the way, it burns if you bought it.

It burns. It burns when you put it on. Did you look it up and do any other research, like ratings, reviews? I read the reviews.

I did read the reviews.

Wait, reviews on their site, or did you Google separate reviews? Because a lot of these Instagram ads, they'll show you reviews, but it's built into their own website to look like Google reviews.

I don't remember.

I fall for all these Instagram ads, and I know we all have different ones based on what we're into.

They're so good. And it's a pain because they know, they hear you, what you're talking about, so they know what to advertise you for. Right.

Instagram ads, I should be a 97-year-old woman with all the stuff that I bought. What were you going to say, Meg?

I have an Instagram ad arriving today. They get me two.

What'd you buy?

I'm getting some self-danner, but apparently it's customizable to your hair color, your eye color.

Okay. Is that the slogan? I bought it. I don't know if it works. I know. That's why I bought it, and I already started the TikTok of my review because I'm going to be saying, you got me, bitches. Does it work?

Yeah. I think that the only thing that I realize with Instagram ads is after I make the purchase, I pray that it actually shows up. Because there are times where I feel like it's so shady that it shouldn't be there. And then I bank it with Chase, and I get the alerts all the time. Anytime I buy something on Instagram, I always get the Chase fraud alert. It comes off afterwards.

Well, because a lot of those Instagram ads are fulfilling from China. So you may get the product, but it might be four months from now.

Yeah. So, okay, so you got your tummy stopped. Megan's got hers.

I went into the sunglass hut in the mall last weekend, and all I said was, you know, I think I'll just get the Ray-Bans I saw at Costco. They were, like, half the price. And the next five days, every ad was for sunglasses on Instagram. It knew I walked in that store, and it knew I didn't buy them. And it was, like, every ad's for sunglasses.

What is it, a geotracker or something that's in there? Is that what it is? It's nuts how that does that. It's crazy. Pam wants to tell Shannon something about that tummy cream. What's up, Pam?

Hey, I bought that B-flat a couple months ago, and it does not work. Okay, okay. So here's the thing. Did it burn when you put it on?

Because I'm like, and Megan, I feel like we get this way. We want to believe it's working. So I'm like, oh, the tingle means it's working.

No, the tingle means you're having a reaction. It's kind of like those lip plumpers that are like, your lips are getting bigger, but it's not. It's just probably like an allergic reaction to something. That's the thing.

And that's the thing with Shannon. Shannon, you got a million and one allergies. You shouldn't be just taking some kind of stuff that you buy off an Instagram ad.

Oh, yeah. No, that's normal. I don't know if they put niacin in it or whatever, but to get like that tingle and like kind of like a hotness like a burning sensation yes and then like a little bit of redness i noticed like it's worse if you put it on right after you get out the shower

yes and that's what i do it's so funny jen because it brought me back to 17 year old shannon murphy who was going to the tanning bed after high school and we would all use that tingle sun sun tandler that's what it reminded me of like a level one and you're getting all burnt
