Yeah. Yeah, they call them dupes. Like, say, for example, Apple has those incredibly expensive, really cool-looking headphones. You can go on T-Mu and get the same $700 pair for, like, $7. Back in my day, we called them knock-offs. Right, yeah, knock-offs, fakes, dupes. Yeah, for sure. So, I wasn't even looking for an item. Ads are being served up on every single social platform. So I'm scrolling Instagram, and I see this lady talking about these shoes. Now, the sandals are, I think she said are cipher or cipher. They're a sandal from Hermes, and you've probably seen them before. But she's saying that the version that she's selling is $30, whereas the Hermes pair is like $900 and something. So I click the link. I go to the little Shop Now page. I look at the site. I'm looking through I'm looking at the review Of course they're all five and four star And of course they all say like Legitimate buyer or certified buyer Or anything like that I don't know how you verify that I don't even know if they can copy and paste the pictures From the Hermes site But these shoes The shoes are literally The exact same So I was like What if I just Yeah I'll say Sherelle What if I just buy Sherelle these handles She'll never know Like, is that okay if you buy somebody that version? How much is the dupe? It's like $30.

Do you want to know how much the original one is? Oh, I know. Nearly seven grand. Buy the $30 one. For seven grand? Oh, yeah. I ain't looking at them. $6,700.

Are you? What? Yeah, I am showing up.

I'm a save money person. But, like, I think about it as, like, would you want to get Yeezys that were fake? Yeah.

Okay, so my answer to that, Mike, is if it's a great dupe, yeah, I do, but I want to know. Yeah. Do you do want to? I want to know. I want to know. I want to know because then if I somehow figure out that they're not, I'm going to be kind of upset, even though I don't care that it's the dupe, but I care that you didn't tell You don't want to get a dupe. me. A good dupe, because I've bought dupes of stuff before. Yeah. I mean, I've talked about this. There are really, really good dupes. there are really bad dupes but like the excitement of getting a really good dupe of something is

I think it's interesting because, you know, you guys talk about T-Moo all the time. There are certain things that you don't T-Moo.

There are no good designer dupes. That's not where you're finding them. There are a lot of good sites for designer dupes. It is a million percent not T-Moo.

My wife has told me that a lot of the sites will get taken down right after you could buy it. Like you can buy some of these things and all of a sudden they're gone off of, uh, off of the site. There are, I, I would, I don't know about electronics as far as dupes are concerned. Like you were mentioning those headphones because I've known people that have bought the headphones and man, the electronics don't always last that long. Right.

Like the Lululemon dupes that I get from Amazon and now Megan is obsessed from them as well. They're by the Hay Nuts brand. Yes. Okay. Search those on Amazon. They are better than the Lululemon leggings. but then i've ordered and you saw it i ordered a really bad dupe purse that came and it literally looked like it was plastic and it was still kind of expensive it's got to be like a real leather

or show like it's leather because otherwise it's if it's pleather it looks like it's pleather because it's a little bit different looking you know what's interesting this is the same as you know is it okay to buy a manufactured diamond and not a real diamond i think that it's smarter too if if If you can buy one that looks good, nobody knows.

I get what you mean there. I think, too, I had a friend whose husband bought her two designer bags. I can't remember if it was Mother's Day or Christmas or her birthday or whatever. And he gave them to her in gift bags, not the boxes. Which, when you spend money on a designer item, you want all the stuff. You want the dust bag. You want the, you want the box and he had bought them pre-owned, which is totally cool, but he was trying really hard to pass it off. Like he went to some fancy department store and bought them. And that's where I think he went wrong. Not that he bought them pre-owned. That's a great idea. But that he tried to play it off.

So he not only bought dupes, but he bought used dupes.

No, he bought real items that were pre-owned, but he was trying to, because she was like, where's the box so I can store them? And he's like, well, they didn't come with a box.

Would you rather have somebody's, you know, poshmarked old real purse?

Or the real real, like those fashion files?

Nobody walks out around with a box. I know it's just for you, though. For sure. Yeah, closet.

I say get the dupe, save your money, save some coin. But I agree with Shannon. It has to be a really good dupe, and you have to tell her. Because if you don't tell her, she's going to be out on the streets bragging about how her man got her Hermes shoes, and they're going to be like, those are fake girls. So you have to be honest.

No, I haven't. I've received them for Christmas. I remember my sister got me some dupe Yeezy breads.

And do they look good?

Yeah. I mean, I bought the original Yeezy, the all-white ones.

They're identical. There's no selling them apart. I've also gotten dupe. They're equally as ugly. No, the breads are cool. I mean, yeah. The bread ones are pretty dope. The pandas, they're basic, but I've gotten the dupes. And like I said, the quality is, as long as the quality is good, I don't think that it should be a problem.

Isn't a lot of the dupes, though, for the shoes, they're stolen from the factory? They're literally the same shoes?

Some of them are made in the exact same factory. Yeah. And maybe they have a different stitching that maybe Nike or Adidas didn't accept. And instead of just throwing them away, they'll take them out and sell them to whomever. That'll sell them to the masses. So some of them are made with the exact same fabric. They just don't meet the quality standard of the company.

Good morning, everyone. Hey, Kev, my son, he's 13 now, but when he was like 11 or 12, he came up to me and said he wanted these Yeezy slides. And I'm like, sure. I look them up online. I'm like, I'm not paying that much for easy size for like a kid that his feet grow a half an inch every day. So I found this site, ordered them, never told them. They came in a box, the packaging, everything. They are the most comfortable shoes. He's grown out of them. But, I mean, they're top quality. And same spender, I ordered a pair of Nike Jordans all black because they're on StockX for $800. I'm like, I'm not paying $800. I got them for $68. Nobody can tell the difference, but I tell everybody, yeah, they're dupes. I'm not Michael Jordan.

What on your body, Misfit Victor, what do you have that you personally are wearing right now that's fake?

That glass that I stole the other night? No, nothing that's fake. Everything I wear is real.

So you wear real, but you buy your kids fake.

To be fair, they do grow.

The kids grow fat. Kev, I have a lady for you. You send her a picture of anything. She gets it for you. It's top quality. It's shipped right away. It's just kind of weird the way she bills you because, like, you'll get an invoice on the site for, like, a baby walker for, like, $65. And you're like, a baby walker. And the next thing you know, you get the shoes in the mail, like, eight days later.

I was going to say, I'd be scared every time my doorbell rings. It feels very illegal.

The feds. But, yeah, she even sells milk, like imitation milk and food and stuff like that.

Oh, I did. I bought her a giant YSL bag, but I told her. Like, we were in Arizona, this Scottsdale mall that, like, every store in there, I'm like, I do not belong in this mall. because everything is like Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, this, that. And she walks in a YSL store, and she's like, oh, my God, I love this bag. I'm like, let's get it. And the lady's like, it's on sale for $4,950. I go, let's not get it. I sent the picture to this lady, and she sent it back to me. She was $120. Oh, my God. It came in a week later, and she's freaking out. She's like, you did not buy this. I go, I did buy it, but I didn't spend that much. She goes, how much? And I told her, and she's like, oh, my God, it looks so real. She's never taken it out of the house. She's like, what if somebody realizes that it's fake?

Doing well. My husband works for U.S. Customs, and they confiscate it because it is illegal in the U.S., these fake items, and they do destroy them. About 20 years ago, I had a fake purse party, and you would have thought I had a drug ring going on at my house.

We found out. Why does your husband hate us? I don't know. But then I also have an acquaintance whose boyfriend bought her Tiffany jewelry, passed it off as real, but it was fake. She took it to Tiffany's to have it clean, and they returned and said, we can't clean this. This is fake. Oh, that would be the worst. See, that's what I mean. That's right.

Okay, so here's the thing. When you order the stuff from China, right, like for me personally, if I'm talking to a new girl, I'll order a Gucci belt, right? But then I'll go to the actual store downtown Detroit, go in there and say, hey, I just need a box in the bag. I bought it a couple months ago. Me and my girl broke up. I'm going to re-gift it to somebody else. They give me the bag. I put it in there, give it to them. I've never had any complaints. This is, it's amazing.
