00:00:45 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 3:

like you you talked about the uh the young lady at the hair salon yesterday who mentioned like some days they just need a home day to be with you know mom dad or whatever case may be and that's okay he has those days but you can't have those days all the time and sometimes you gotta learn how to push through and yesterday was one of those you just need to push through type days

00:01:02 - 00:01:12 | Speaker 2:

well otherwise it ends up being you know you grow up later and you're like thinking that that's how life is exactly any day you want to take off you can take off yeah we're not moving off our feelings

00:01:12 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 3:

but not only does Josiah go to school but he has something interesting now one thing that I will say that how old is he Josiah is 11 years old he's in the sixth grade my big job so Joe is really into the bible right now now he's we've all like we pray every night we you know he knows the lord but i think it was either tiktok or he saw it on youtube shorts where if you read four chapters a day starting on january 1st by the end of the year you can fully complete the bible so he's on that mission and oh i love that kev and he won't read it like he asked his mom for a bible like he wanted a physical bible he didn't want to go ipad he didn't want to do any of that so he has a bible and he will not read any other bible than that bible and if he's at my house because again share parents he'd be like i'm just gonna wait until i get back with mom and then i'll make up the chapters so he gets to his mom and i don't even know if he asked her if he just took it but he took the bible to school and he said there was some free time in the class so he was like all right i'm just gonna pull out my bible and read it so he pulls out his bible and he says there are other students around him who notice what he's doing and they're like is that a bible He's like, yeah, it's a Bible. I'm about to read it. And they're like, well, can we read it too? He was like, sure. So he says it's like three or four, you know, friends or whatever like that. They come over and read it. And he's like, well, they're not reading. I'm reading and they're listening. He was like, but dad, we get to a part in the Bible where it's these daughters that get their daddy drunk and have sex with them so he can make a baby with them. What? Where is that in the Bible? That's my question. Read the Bible. I was like, I'm stunned at this point. I'm like, you're reading this as cool? He was like, yeah, it's right near Sodom and Gomorrah. He's saying this thing. I'm like, no, what is going on?

00:02:57 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 1:

It was like super inappropriate.

00:02:59 - 00:03:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, in my mind, I'm like.

00:03:03 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 1:

At first, you're like, oh, you're reading the Bible. You're being a good disciple.

00:03:08 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 3:

King James Version. Spreading the good word. He's like, yeah, they drugged their daddy and had sex with him when they got pregnant. Lots of sex, lots of murder, lots of violence. But in school, though, I'm like, did you keep going? He's like, at the end of the chapter, the kids are like, keep going. He's like, yeah, I think that's enough for today.

00:03:31 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? If it gets the kids interested in reading the Bible, now you just hooked them. You got them on that whole thing. It was like me.

00:03:40 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 1:

Dude, we should have started Mojo that way. Yeah.

00:03:43 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen, we're kind of like that. When I was a kid The only book I wanted to read cover to cover Was a book that had swear words in it It was Catcher in the Rye I have no idea why it was the only book That I ever wanted to read cover to cover It's like the worst out of all of them It was a great book It was awesome It was like swear words all over And Huckleberry Finn also had swear words I'm surprised that Teachers probably didn't pay attention

00:04:11 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 3:

They probably didn't know what was going on

00:04:12 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 2:

That's kind of cool There's something kind of, I know that, you know, he's like basically he's like testifying basically, you know, to. That's pretty cool.

00:04:23 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 3:

Trying to just water the sea.

00:04:26 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 2:

Josiah's trying to make school. And, you know, it's funny. He brought up a really good point yesterday. He's just like, you know what? I don't really get much out of school. He goes, I get more when I'm at home. And I'm thinking to myself, I kind of get it. You know what I mean? Like, you know, there were some days you go to school and you're like, that was kind of eh day. And then there's some days you go to school and it was like, you know, We were doing science projects and doing stuff, and it actually made more sense.

00:04:47 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 3:

He's so focused in art. He's a 4.0 student, and God bless him. I don't know where he got that. His mom, I'm like, not that smart. I like acting and stuff like that. But he loves to draw. He can excel in any other things. That's great. What's up, Tanisha?

00:05:03 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. I'm so excited to hear about Josiah getting into the Bible. It's so funny to me. People who are, like, Christians but have never read it, so they get surprised by this, tell Josiah, wait till he gets to Song of Solomon. It's all about boobs.
