I'm 33. Where'd you go to school? Harvard undergrad and then Columbia Law School.

Not to Columbia, you went to. Yeah, I went to Columbia College in Chicago. How dare you? Wow, that's pretty wild. And so Matthew Ackerman is running. And Jeff, how do you know him? How do you know this guy?

So I know the whole family. Like, talk about a family of high achievers. I met his dad by accident. I did a prank on him at the NCAA tournament and kept his dad up all night. And then his sister had a medical issue. I didn't know it at the time. And now, of course, what she do, she's a pediatrician, right, helping kids. And his other brother helped me with my campaign. I hope he did this better for you than he did for me. And he's another attorney. Wow. And just a wonderful family that does everything right, Kind of like a TV show.

Well, can I give like a 30-second pitch? Will you give me that? So the Court of Appeals is where you go when you think the trial court made a mistake on a difficult legal issue. It's all reading, research, and writing, and that's exactly what I love to do, and that's something I'm really good at. I'm kind of nerdy, as you can see from that background, but I love doing the legal research and writing. And if you have a case that's really difficult that you think was handled incorrectly on a tough legal issue, I'm exactly who you would want to be reviewing it at the Court of Appeals.

Gotcha. Yeah, and I believe that we run commercials for him, but I've heard that you're being supported by both Democrat and Republican, so it's not like it's a partisan thing.

Yeah, I'm endorsed by a bipartisan majority of the Michigan Supreme Court. There are a lot of races where both people have endorsed me, such as John James and Karl Marlinga, both endorsed me.

Wow, and they're running against each other. They're running against each other.

Governor Engler, Governor Blanchard, both endorsed me as a Democrat and Republican.

I've never been more positive and happy that someone of his caliber at his age he's taking a huge pay cut that's what he's doing can I say something too? he'll be on the US Supreme Court we're in those new studios you'll say that guy was in our studio

but can I say this real quick you don't see judges that are 33 years old and this is our audience honestly I would rather be judged by somebody that's a peer of or even understands the world
