00:05:00 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

muskegon and appreciate you if you're on the iheart radio app whether you're listening to us live right now in the morning or you're checking out our podcasts because of uh you don't wake up early in the morning uh you know uh just a quick little thing and i was appreciative of this but uh kp held the door open for me today and it's a very big day if you weren't weren't with us the other day or didn't hear the podcast of Shannon and I giving KP a little grief over the fact that we'll all pull up into the parking lot at the same time and she will race into the radio station as to not have to wait and hold the door for us. That's not the reason. Yes. Oh my gosh. But she did today and actually, you know what the funny thing was? And I did not do this on purpose. You took forever. I was taking forever because I was on the phone with Joe, my son Joe from the Joe Show, whose morning show On FLZ also At the same time and we were talking on the way Into work today and we were Into a conversation And I'm slowly getting out of the car And I'm kind of like slowly walking in And I see KP just standing there going Okay I wanted to hold the door open

00:06:13 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 2:

The longest minute of my life

00:06:15 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

It might have been longer Than a minute

00:06:18 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 2:

And did it set you back of all of your duties before the show Because you said that was the reason you race in here Today I'm light on duties

00:06:24 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 1:

That's a good day Alright well it was very nice Thank you so much for doing that It almost made me want to just stand there And just kind of Bask in it a little bit

00:06:39 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 2:

You should have taken a picture He did

00:06:41 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 1:

I said hold on KP we have to wait here for a little bit Until Lydia gets out of her car Because I wanted to make sure we held the door open for her Lydia will you take a picture of this

00:06:52 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 2:

Lydia showed up after Mojo and she got to the door before him You guys, did you see all the poop all over the sidewalk? What is that? Is that goose poop? It's goose poop. What is that? It's everywhere. It's so nasty.

00:07:03 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 1:

Where are these geese at? Where are these gooses? Yes.

00:07:08 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, but it's like you're playing hopscotch trying to walk from the parking lot

00:07:12 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 1:

into the building because there's so much poop. The funny thing about it was I thought it was, I honestly thought it was something else other than a, I thought maybe somebody brought their dog or something. because if this is just from one particular goose yeah he had this Mexican food like his tummy was bothering him this this uh this goose has got themselves a little bit of a digestive situation going on right now because for those that that uh you know can't visualize this visualize like a large dog that just leaves a big old mound every couple of feet so that you have to it's almost It's kind of like you have to, like, play a contest or something to get around this. Is this the time, by the way? Is this the time that they all come back from down south?

00:08:03 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I don't know. I got out of my car. I'm like, what is all this crap? Oh, it's literally crap.

00:08:10 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The worst is, have you ever been pooped on by a goose?

00:08:15 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

By a goose?

00:08:16 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No. Or some big bird or whatever. Like, I was out on a buddy's boat. We were on his pontoon boat just sitting there drinking, and the thing was flying right over us and literally just, like, pooped right on top of us. Yeah. It was awful. And I felt so bad because one of the people that we were with, this lady, she's not a lady. Her name is Debbie. But she literally got right into her drink as she's drinking. So she's drinking, it gets right into her drink, and then went right into her mouth at that particular time. Yeah, it was gross. The weather is supposedly supposed to change tomorrow. So today I think we have one last day of this crap, and then tomorrow we're supposed to warm up a little bit, and then I think they even said that we might even see the sun by this weekend.

00:09:10 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to drop back down again. No, next week is nice.

00:09:14 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 1:

You're the only person that wants this weather. Everybody has been complaining over the course of the last five or six days that we've never seen rain this many days in a row and horribly cold weather to start off in May. Megan's been loving this moment.

00:09:31 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 2:

Megan, are you in your, like, Twilight-esque feels? Babe, give me the blue filter on my life. I am ready for it.

00:09:40 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it is? Is this like you're a vampire and this is why you like this thing so much?

00:09:45 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

She's not a vampire. She's a millennial Eeyore. Remember? Somebody gave her that name. It's the best name, Megan. Can I tell you, my dad wants to make shirts. In case you're wondering, I got a really nasty comment online calling me a millennial Eeyore.

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 3:

eeyore it was supposed to be mean but i found it hysterical right i want you to know my family has been laughing about this for weeks and i'm pretty sure my dad is going to make me a shirt that says millennial eeyore for christmas like you thought you were hurting us but you created a lifelong

00:10:15 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 4:

joke in my family so first of all thank you uh second of all i you know what this weather is to me though this is why i love it it is the perfect reading weather it is the perfect pull up with a blanket near a window. It's bright outside, but it's still cozy. Girl, when did you have time to read? You were in the car for four hours yesterday. Yeah, I was. I literally wanted to drive off the side of the road yesterday with how my day was going. Yeah, what was it? You were driving to a

00:10:46 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 5:

laundromat to do a sales promo thing? Yeah, I was going up to Skyler Laundromat, but I was in

00:10:51 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 4:

Waterford, and I love Waterford, but it's a little bit of a hike from my house. So from Toledo to waterford what does it take you well there it took an hour and a half on the way back it took over two hours oh geez because of traffic going home oh my god and i was losing my mind yeah losing my mind and then all of you mr ganders i appreciate the way that you know how to use the fast lane don't get me wrong uh but y'all drive like maniacs and then total your cars and then you block both lanes of traffic so um thanks for that you do you know what today is by the way

00:11:29 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 5:

this is actually perfect for today today is the great grump out what the great american grump out it's my day celebrated on may the third every single year this is the day that takes place where you're supposed to get the grump out of you interesting oh i didn't want to get it out of me

00:11:52 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 4:

I wanted to, like, harness the power and bring it in.

00:11:54 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 5:

What sounds like a day to be grumpy, it's actually not. It's a day to get the grump out, according to the people in Spread Happy Vibes.

00:12:04 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 2:

How do they suggest getting the grump out?

00:12:05 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 5:

Well, they actually, it seems like they seem to believe that food will do it for you. They say, get yourself a big old bowl of breakfast cereal that you normally would not eat on a day like today. Enjoy that to kind of get your mood going. And then as the day goes on, call yourself out for being grumpy over the past few months. It's a way to get the winter out of you and get the, you know, I guess the newfound feels of what summer will be. But that's kind of an interesting one. The great grump out. What were you talking about before the show? And I know we planned on talking about it later, but maybe we can segue to now. What were you talking about with April, KP?

00:12:45 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 2:

April theory. It's a theory that life starts getting really good.

00:12:48 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 5:

after april so really so in april you're like kind of like trans you know transferring uh yeah

00:12:58 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 2:

like people start to get new jobs they meet new people start new relationships and i feel like for me life always starts to get good after april like you just you feel better and i i honestly feel like part of its seasonal depression we're all just sad girls yeah but and guys uh but no i feel like april theory is legit i think it's a real thing i've been seeing a few videos about

00:13:19 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 1:

april theory and i've also been seeing a lot of people asking what is april theory and i don't have an exact definition as to what april theory is but i've definitely talked about this and tweeted about this and a lot of people can relate so listen up winter depression girlies because this theory is going to be something you're going to want to study basically april theory is the whole concept that april is the month that life starts to get good i don't know why but like clockwork april is the month that the ball starts to get rolling and if you notice in a lot of religions the new year what starts in march and seasons spring is starting okay so wait a second

00:14:00 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 5:

so are we late on this because it's already may or is it technically the first day of spring is

00:14:05 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 1:

in march but it does not get good in march yet because people could still because if that's the

00:14:10 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 5:

case honestly this has been a really crappy april for us it's supposed to be end of april like

00:14:15 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 2:

april is like classes are finishing yeah the month where it starts like things start to get better well it hasn't gotten better well it's over my grump is coming back out right now on this one here i know you started it really late that girl was like repeating everything i well you know what

00:14:31 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 5:

it is too listening to a tiktok like on your phone is okay because you're watching the video Listening to the audio on a radio show You hate that every five seconds it stops You know what I mean? That gives me the grump on this one

00:14:44 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have no attention span for that Tic Tac, I felt like it was like dragging

00:14:48 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:

But repeating everything I just said

00:14:50 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, I know, but you told me That it was on the Tic Tac So I just wanted to play it But honestly, I will say this to you guys Just the last two days

00:15:00 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 3:

the last two days have just been downer days and honestly i've done a little group therapy with people that i've run into like i yesterday went out to lunch with shannon talked to somebody at the restaurant about it um then i had to go to the mall and go do some stuff for luke and i'll talk about that later this morning because we had to get him like a stuff for his prom that's coming up and everybody i talked to like i would just blatantly be like because you know how everybody asks you the proverbial hey how are you doing and they never really want you to answer it right

00:15:31 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 5:

have you ever answered it i was gonna say honestly and say i'm actually not doing that great right now well they don't even know what to say or do i've done that before and shocked people like

00:15:42 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 3:

where people will be oh how are you doing i'm like i'm not really doing great okay great thanks and they'll do like that just out of habit yesterday people started having group therapy sessions with me like people legitimately when i said to them honestly you really want to know the answer and they're like yeah i'm like it sucks i'm i can't stand this weather anymore i can't stand you know the the mood that's out there i can't stand the fact that the world is angry you know i can't stand all this stuff everybody opened up to me about the same thing and maybe because i was also around a lot of people that are in the service industry and they get pelted with that every single day but it was unbelievably therapeutic for people like people started thanking me afterwards like I did it to four different people in the last two people said to me thank you so much for you know hearing me out on this because I heard him out on what their uh their struggles were and then there's Megan who for some reason finds that this is like the greatest weather in the world. And she's

00:16:41 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 2:

You don't get sweaty. You're not freezing. It's just

00:16:45 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 3:

cozy. I can't believe, by the way, that you actually have people that agree with you. A texter here 589 says, Oh my God, I'm with Megan. I love this weather. I don't know why people are so upset about it. I hate summertime, and I hate the sun. Who are you people?

00:17:01 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, seriously. What is that? We're people that burn in the sun.

00:17:05 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 3:

Edward Cullen. Good grief. Oh, my God.

00:17:08 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 4:

It's the skin of a killer, Bella.

00:17:11 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 3:

Like, honestly, I was looking for prizes.

00:17:13 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 4:

You've got to be fast.

00:17:14 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 3:

I was looking for prizes to give away because, you know, who doesn't?

00:17:18 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God, we've got to snort.

00:17:21 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 3:

I was thinking to myself, I'm like, we should give away, can we give away, like, therapy? Because we talked about it on our podcast yesterday. Yeah. Like, could it be possible that we could actually have, we'll give you therapy and Prozac, and there you go. Call number nine. What's going on, Zelene?

00:17:36 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hi.

00:17:38 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up?

00:17:40 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I am honestly going through it, too. I just wanted to let you know that, Mojo. You're not the only one.

00:17:46 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 3:

It's brutal, isn't it? And I know today's the grump out, and we're supposed to get the grump out, but maybe we need to, like, get some therapy going here, right?

00:17:53 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, definitely. I mean, even those, like, you know those places where you can go and just, like, smash stuff? Oh, yes. Let's all go.

00:18:03 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second. Yes, that is a great idea. Yes, I just need that right now

00:18:08 - 00:18:18 | Speaker 3:

Let's do it And you know what we're going to smash? We're going to smash Megan's phone Because we're going to make sure That she doesn't ever say That she likes this weather ever again, right?

00:18:19 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 4:

Right? Oh my gosh, it's so depressing

00:18:21 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 3:

I know What's up, Mindy?

00:18:24 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning Isn't it a beautiful day?

00:18:28 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 3:

Megan, this is one of yours right here Oh, what a beautiful morning What do you like about this weather?

00:18:38 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 4:

Well, probably because I have a dark soul.

00:18:44 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, you can join the crowd because you got somebody here that also has the dark soul with you.

00:18:50 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 4:

That's all right.

00:18:52 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:18:52 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 4:

We'll enjoy it together.

00:18:53 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 3:

Have a great day. Enjoy this. Bye, Mindy. Bye.
