Mojo in the Morning Show. I don't want anybody to literally, I mean seriously, listen up to me for saying. Don't want you over this next topic here to make fun of her. Because I think she's fragile today Okay But KP had Kind of a blonde moment Happened to her over the weekend

00:02:30 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 2:

How do you know I'm fragile right now?

00:02:32 - 00:02:38 | Speaker 6:

Because I could just see it I could see it in just how you know You were when you were telling us a story off the air Okay

00:02:38 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 2:

He's making a lot of assumptions about us today You know what they say about people who assume right?

00:02:45 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah Is it the whole ass thing? We can't say words like that on the radio Listen, I know I'm fragile. I'm already fragile, and you guys know this, but honestly, I have to say this. You gave me a laugh today.

00:02:58 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 2:

What did I do this time?

00:03:01 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 6:

Well, you went to a concert that wasn't really the concert. Let me just say this to you. If you're listening up, I want you to hear this story, and then I want you to do us a favor, and I want you to just inside laugh, but don't laugh outside because I don't want her to think that you're laughing at her. Go ahead. What happened to you?

00:03:18 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 2:

So, I got an email. Well, okay. I'm not going to blame Lydia, but I'm going to blame Lydia. Oh, there she goes.

00:03:28 - 00:03:28 | Unknown:

Oh, hey.

00:03:30 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 6:

She's going to throw you under the bus for her doing this. All right, go ahead.

00:03:34 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 2:

So, okay. Lydia goes, KP, I got these tickets. They're giving us complimentary tickets to go see a certain artist in Detroit. I'm like, sure, I'll take yours because she couldn't go. So, she forwards me these tickets and there's four of them. my sister's in town from philly she's got her friend with her i invite one of my good friends and we go down to detroit to go see lana del rey yeah so far so good so far it's great we're looking great we're hot we're walking to detroit i got eight dollar parking tickets wow we really scored here yeah wow and we get there and i the cover the person comes out onto the stage And she is playing all of Lana Del Rey's music And I look at my friend and I'm like Why are they having the person Opener Play Lana Del Rey music Like remixed Lana Del Rey And there was like There was a screen in the back Just showing a bunch of Lana Del Rey music videos And I leave to go step out With Betsy, my friend And we come back and my sister goes

00:04:42 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 6:

Wait, what did you leave for?

00:04:45 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

smoke smoke oh i'm like if i'm gonna get through this night i gotta step up smoking the reefer anyway i come back in and emily is looking at me my sister and she's like

00:05:00 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 3:

just asked the girl next to us when Lana Del Rey is coming out. Oh, my gosh. And she goes, girl, she ain't coming. This is a cover band. You know, I had tickets to this, and I was so upset I couldn't make it. Less upset now. Oh, my God, that's hysterical. I was looking back in the email, too, and I think the salesperson that had sent it to us got confused, too, I think, because she wrote, I have these complimentary tickets to Lana Del Rey. The subject says Lana Del Rey Night, but her email says Lana Del Rey. So I think she thought that's what it was, too. I would have missed that, too. To be fair, I honest to God would have missed that. So embarrassing.

00:05:38 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 6:

Where was the show? The Fillmore.

00:05:41 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 3:

And I was like, you know. I mean, that could have been. That's a big venue. That's a big venue for a cover person. It was all set up cute. I mean, there wasn't like a terrible amount of people there. But then again, we got this email from a salesperson here. So I'm like, maybe that's, you know, it's an event before a big thing that she's doing. I have no idea. You know, I need to start reading my emails.

00:06:00 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 6:

So you took your sister, who's in town, to a concert that she was excited about, but then she got unexcited when she found out it was just a cover. How at least was the cover, were they good?

00:06:14 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 3:

They were, you know, I'm not going to be mean, but they were, no. They were great, they were excellent.

00:06:19 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 6:

Honestly, they were not that good, were they?

00:06:20 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 3:

They were all right. They're just okay? She kind of looked like Lana Del Rey, just slightly.

00:06:25 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 6:

All right, okay, so.

00:06:27 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 3:

Could have been other substances.

00:06:28 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 6:

Is it disrespectful to you to say that that was a blonde moment for you?

00:06:31 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 3:

No, that was entirely a blonde moment. I looked at my sister and I'm like, I feel ridiculous right now. And I'm glad I brought my close friends, too, and not like, you know.

00:06:40 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 6:

I want you to make KP feel good. KP is our producer, and I want you to make her feel good. I want you to make her feel good by telling us. What did you do that is kind of similar to that that made you feel like, oh, my God, I can't believe I just did that. I can't believe that I, you know, drove all the way downtown. You know what's good, though? You should have taken your sister out to smoke with you guys. I don't know if she does, but she could have gone out there, and then she would have thought she was with Lana Drill Ray, too.

00:07:08 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, Mojo, there is this guy that I know who drove all the way to Ann Arbor thinking a meeting was on Thursday.

00:07:13 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 6:

Listen, that's a blonde moment. That is a blonde moment. Oh, Kev. That is. Touche. By the way. On your first day, Kev. On your first day.

00:07:23 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 4:

Get him, Kev. I just want everybody to know Meet Kev everybody

00:07:29 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 6:

Usually everybody on the show That's new becomes my favorite I just want you to know Mike you're still my favorite Thank you You wouldn't say that Mike's usually the jokester That would you know he won't even do that Because he knows him It's a very sensitive time for me

00:07:45 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 2:

This is me people

00:07:45 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 6:

Hey Annie wants to comment on this What's that Annie

00:07:48 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 5:

So I was there I had a very amazing night It was so good. I knew it wasn't Lana Del Rey, like, in person, but I think it would have been a really easy mistake. It was more like just being around a bunch of people who shared the same mindset. Like, we love her. We love her.

00:08:06 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 6:

How many people there were high and how many people weren't?

00:08:10 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 5:

If you include, like, myself, I can go for, you know, I stepped out too right before she came.

00:08:18 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 6:

Is that what you do if you're an indoor? Do they have, like, an area that you can go out to go smoke in? Is it the side area there, the Fillmore there, the side road?

00:08:27 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and there's a really cool, funny guy that was, like, out there. Oh, he was great.

00:08:31 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 3:

He was so funny. He was making sure the door didn't hit me in the butt.

00:08:34 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 6:

Go look at our Instagram and Facebook so you can see if that was KP that you were standing next to while you were partying.

00:08:42 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 5:

You know, she probably heard me screaming, like, ah, with this girl next to me because we were just so freaking happy. We were animals. We were feral. It was amazing Feral girl summer

00:08:53 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 6:

Steve what's happening

00:08:55 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 1:

Hey I bought tickets to see Mitch Fatale At a comedy show And invited 10 of my friends and relatives And we all showed up there on a Friday And the show was for Saturday night

00:09:07 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 6:

That's the worst by the way To show up at a different time Totally different day What's going on Jill

00:09:16 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 4:

Good morning My dad won tickets. I mean, I was like 10 years old, so this was over 20 years ago. But he won tickets for like a meet-and-greet with the Detroit Pistons before the game. And he was like, okay, cool, we're going to go. And we got all the way there, and he forgot the tickets for the meet-and-greet in the car. Uh-oh.

00:09:33 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 5:

No. Oh, gosh.

00:09:37 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 6:

That's when we were really good, too. By the way, the worst is when you forget something like that. Like when you're leaving to go somewhere and you realize, oh, my God. That's the only good thing about having these tickets on your phone nowadays.

00:09:50 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

I've done that before. I had Faster Horses passes. My campsite passed. I drove all the way from Traverse City to Brooklyn, realized I didn't have my passes, and then I messaged my...

00:10:00 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 1:

my city up in Traverse City to say, hey, is anyone coming to Faster Horses? I will give you the code to my apartment. Go in and grab my pass and drive down. Wait, you messaged who? Facebook. I went to a Facebook group chat in Traverse City and I said, hey, is anyone going to Faster Horses?

00:10:15 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

You were going to let a stranger just go into your place?

00:10:17 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 1:

Yep, I was not missing that weekend. And they did. And this dude, he went into my apartment, like literally. That's crazy. I don't even care. They were sold out. There was no way for me to buy another Faster Horses pass. And I was the head of my campsite So nobody was going to get in If I didn't have that patch That's crazy Was everything there when you got back?

00:10:35 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 6:

Like every pair of underwear?

00:10:36 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 1:

I was, oh You know what? I don't even care I went to pass horses You can have it

00:10:40 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 3:

How many cameras were placed in your room?

00:10:42 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

00:10:42 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

00:10:43 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god, KP

00:10:44 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, KP Honestly

00:10:45 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 4:

Did you look at your underwear drawer To see if the guy was sniffing? I don't even know How many pair of underwear I have Sam, we're talking about KP had a very, very bad moment Happen to her What's going on?

00:10:58 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so some years ago, I can't remember what year it was, I bought comedy tickets for a Jamie Foxx show.

00:11:04 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:11:04 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 7:

I go to the concert, I had five of my friends who were there, and the comedian comes on before him, and then Jamie Foxx comes out and just starts singing his album. He never did any comedy, so we were just singing. Which isn't bad. Listening to him, singing, you know, love music basically the whole time.

00:11:24 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 4:

Do you know what, though? That wouldn't be a bad show to go to see, right? That would actually be okay. He had some good songs.

00:11:32 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, maybe if I was with a group of girls. Right. Oh, my gosh.

00:11:37 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 4:

You wanted comedy.

00:11:38 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 7:

I could have some laughs and then go out afterwards.

00:11:40 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:11:42 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call.

00:11:43 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

I got a meet and greet one, KP, to make you feel better.

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:11:47 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 3:

So I went to a club after. There was a huge country concert in downtown Grand Rapids. I grew up in a small town where Tim McGraw was, like, a legend. So this guy comes to the bar right by Van Andel Arena after the show, and everybody's like, that's Tim McGraw, man. That's Tim McGraw. You've got to go say hi to him. So there is a picture floating out in the Internet somewhere of me with this guy, super excited. Like, I'm fangirling over this guy because I'm convinced it's Tim McGraw. I went back, looked at the picture the next day. It looks nothing like him.

00:12:19 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 1:

That's great. I have a picture like that with my pretend Morgan Walmart. I took a picture with Morgan. Morgan Walmart? That's the greatest.

00:12:32 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 4:

We got to do that. Oh, my God.

00:12:34 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 2:

We got to do a Morgan Walmart.

00:12:38 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. We got to look for a Morgan Wallen look-alike. What's happening, Dom? Are you there?

00:12:44 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I'm there. I'm here.

00:12:46 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:12:47 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 6:

So my mom and aunt, we're heading to Florida, and they're trying to save money on tickets. So they bought two one-ways, but they didn't realize until on the way home at the airport in Florida that they bought two tickets to Florida and back to Detroit. Oh, my gosh. The lady was like, okay, well, I can do this real quick. If you can get on this plane in 10 minutes, we can do a layover. And I think it was like Minnesota or something back to Detroit. So they made their flight, but they had like a two hour layover there.

00:13:21 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 4:

That sucks. You buy two one ways thinking you're going to save money. You just cost yourself money. Now you talk about KP going from Traverse City all the way to where the heck is it? Brooklyn.

00:13:32 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 1:

Brooklyn.

00:13:32 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 4:

To go to Faster Horses. You forgot the tickets. How about Joni? Are you there, Joni?

00:13:39 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I am.

00:13:40 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Joni was going to Disney, and what did you do?

00:13:45 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 5:

We left all the park tickets at home.

00:13:48 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God, I would cry. What did you do?

00:13:53 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 5:

We didn't realize it until we actually pulled up to the gate, and I went to go at my first to give them the tickets, and I had none. We went back to the hotel, we ripped all of the luggage apart, and then I realized they're sitting on the dresser at home.

00:14:09 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. So what did you do once you realized that?

00:14:13 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 5:

Luckily, my father-in-law lived pretty close, so he went back to the house, grabbed the ticket, and the lady was so nice at the park counter. She had him scratch off every number and read her, you know, the numbers over the phone, and she was able to print the tickets off the phone.

00:14:31 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Thank God.

00:14:33 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 4:

That would have sucked.

00:14:35 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 1:

I love my lesson.

00:14:37 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 4:

Were you just going to try to do a goofy impersonation?

00:14:40 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 1:

Gosh there, Joni. That's absolutely terrible.

00:14:43 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 4:

Please be doing it. I had no idea.

00:14:45 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 3:

I'll never do that again. I think I'm pretty good.

00:14:47 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 4:

Somebody call up Eric and tell Eric that he's no longer doing impersonations for us, that we've got Kevin now that does it. What other impersonations do you do? I do a pretty good goofy. I don't think I got a fair shot. Okay. All right. This is my tingle. You test it out. Day number one is maybe not the best day to pull out the goofy. You should save all the talented stuff for like, you know, maybe a couple of weeks in or something.

00:15:08 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 2:

Left it at the mojo.

00:15:09 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 4:
