Yeah, so I have this really bad habit of cracking my door to let my little furry Bubba in because he likes to hang out while I shower. And yeah, I'm a crazy cat lady. And yesterday, I was actually selling some things in my apartment. and in the shower i was thinking to myself oh my god did i lock the door did i i'm literally soaking wet did i lock the door because i started hearing crazy noises in my apartment i'm like oh my god somebody is in my apartment and i'm in the shower i'm about to be bates motel murdered right now and i was like well this is this is what i get because i crack my door for my damn cat and i don't lock my doors so i guess i deserve it uh but so you what you're in the shower and while you're in the shower you're hearing i'm hearing the craziest noises like it sounds like somebody is walking around my apartment and it sounds like somebody is moving my furniture so i'm like oh my god i'm being robbed and they don't realize that i'm in the shower right now and i have this much time to put on clothes do you have a shower curtain or do you have a door oh actually no i'm sorry i do not have a curtain i have a glass window which makes it worse so i can't hide behind my curtain but i can see the predator but at least you have a glass door because

i always think that when you have shower curtains anywhere you go oh my god i always think that that is you're gonna get killed like because it's always in the movies that you get killed by the

person stabbing through the thing if i go to the bathroom at a friend's house and they have one i look behind it every time i love when people hide their cleaning supplies or like stuff that they

like a bang, like a boom. Immediately, I turn off the water, get my towel on, open the door, and I start to, like, kind of tiptoe. I'm upstairs. The boom sound is coming from downstairs. I hear some fumbling. Then I hear, it's SWAT. And I'm like, what? So I pull out my phone. Well, I go to my room, get my cell phone call. Then I start to make my way downstairs, and I guess the person realized that it was somebody in the house. Oh, my God. And they had my Xbox, and they had a Pico. Oh, my God. So, the sound I heard was they kicked in the side door of the house. And that was the whole SWAT thing that they were making? That's what they were saying. It's SWAT. Open up. Wow. And the police came. Oh, my God.

Dude, first off, that is like the worst time ever to get robbed. Like, if you're going to rob me, rob me when I have my clothes on. I know. I'm soaking wet. Let me run out of the house.

I'm most vulnerable. I'm shaving my legs and you're going to kill me and rob me? I think you're thinking about it the wrong way because there's an advantage here. Because if he tries to attack you, it's slippery.

Yeah, so my husband and I lived in an apartment for like two years. And for the first time ever, someone was shoveling like our front step. it was like three or four in the morning and it was just an awful noise and my husband is a cpl holder and he like freaked out and he like got his gun like went and yelled at this dude but really he was just being nice and shoveling for us oh gee good samaritan and he never did anything

nice again i threw his shovel he was shoveling away so you go caitlin you thought you were being

robbed yeah so we were up at central michigan and at 2 a.m we heard a noise and next thing you know there was two girls and two guys in our dorm room and two of the girls decided they were going to start taking a shower while the guys were starting to go through our stuff in the main living area Wait, what?

Oh, my gosh.

So what ended up happening is me and my roommate started texting, and we, like, locked our bedroom doors. And as soon as, you know, I could peek my head out to see that the guys also went into the bathroom, I ran out in my pajamas to the main front lobby and had to have some of the guys come up to remove them from the room.

Oh, jeez.

Wait, I don't understand why the girls were taking showers.

They came back to Wayside and had a little too much to drink.

yes i definitely did it was about 2 a.m one night and we have a patio that you have to walk up a bunch of stairs to get onto that had just a bunch of furniture and we heard banging so i grabbed my siblings at the time i was like 14 babysitting and um thought you know this is it so i ended up calling 9-1-1, like three officers came out. Turns out it was just a very severely overfed raccoon. Oh, yes.

I'm telling you, that happens a lot. I bet you cops get called a lot over raccoons.

The officer kind of just gave me like a little side hug because I was freaking out and he was like, don't worry about it, but it's definitely just the raccoon. I would suggest you stop feeding him. And I was like, okay, got it. You were

So we looked in the slip. These little apartments, and a bunch of people were, yes.

living in Colorado uh I had moved in with my brother out there and I was on the phone with my mom and I was like I don't know I just I was super homesick like complaining to her on the phone and I just walked into the wrong apartment oh geez yeah I didn't notice that it wasn't my apartment and I stayed there and for a little bit and I was on the phone and this woman came out

and she was like hello how long were you in the apartment before you realized it was the wrong

apartment i didn't realize until she came out so it was probably it was you didn't notice that the furniture was not yours i i was so into complaining with my on the phone with my mom that i didn't

realize oh okay and it was in colorado and weed was legal there way before it was legal anywhere

else right that's true that's true uh what's up how you doing alex hi i'm doing good um long time listener first time call um so one time when i was on maternity leave so i just had a baby right we had an exterminator come over we had him spray inside the house for some things um and he said he was all good he was leaving i was like okay great went to take a shower forgot to lock my door i kept my shower door open obviously because i had a little baby had to keep an eye on the baby suddenly i hear hello hello and i'm like who the fuck oh i got it i got it yeah who the clock is in my house because i'm alone with my you know 30 day old child and i'm like i put on a towel i'm like uh hello and it's the exterminator in my house did i leave my phone in Oh, my God. You walked into my house looking for your phone. His phone wasn't even in there.
