It's Mojo in the Morning Show. KP had something very interesting happen to her when she went to the hoedown. and I want you to tell the full story of what happened and then tell the update of what's going on here right now.

00:02:04 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 6:

Okay. I just want to say, why are country boys always the issue? I feel like they're tall, dark, and handsome, and they're so charming, and they're always cheating. And I'm going to say it.

00:02:19 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 4:

KP, to stop you for one second. You love country boys. I do. It's not just country boys. It's every boys. It's every boys.

00:02:25 - 00:02:35 | Speaker 6:

I talk to War of the Roses peeps every week. You're right. I'm sorry. You're right. It's every man. What's that? When I say that, I get called out. But she can say it?

00:02:36 - 00:02:42 | Speaker 4:

Well, yes. KP, that's wrong. That's wrong. We don't like that. Go ahead. Next story.

00:02:42 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

So I went to Tim McGraw, and I am so touch-deprived, I allowed some guy to come up to me and dance with me. So I let him. And we may or may not have kissed or something. Um, and he walked me to my truck afterwards and he was trying to show me a picture on his phone of his, his Harley. I don't know anything about motorcycles. I do not care, but I did see a picture of him with some blonde girl. And so I was like, Hey, that looks kind of weird. Like, why do you have all these pictures of this girl on your phone? And he's like, it's my sister. Okay. Immediately. No, I know that's not your sister. She's literally wrapped around you on your motorcycle. So that's not your sister. I walk away from him and go home. He texts me the next morning and I look up his full name on Facebook and he has a girlfriend of like three years. So I message her because I ain't about that. Like I've been in her shoes before. It's better for you to tell them now so that they can make their own choice about what they want to do. If she wants to stay, that's her prerogative, but she should know in my opinion. And then after I do that i typically just don't don't reply or like block them okay so to go back again because

00:03:59 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 4:

i'm trying to keep up with this because i also run the control boards here um you met this guy at the hoedown you wanted to uh to get a little kissing going so you guys were kissing at the hoedown you kissed him and made out with him before you went to okay he kissed you but you kissed back obviously right yeah that's two way street until you guys went back to his car and And then you saw a picture of what he said was his sister.

00:04:24 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he walked me to my truck, and I saw a picture of his quote-unquote sister. So I let quote-unquote sister know that brother was up to no good. Why are you doing that? Why am I doing that? Because it's good. Like, girls need to know. And I thought that was the last time I'd ever hear from either of them, and that was not the case because the update is this past weekend, i get a text from a random number and and it's the girl she's like hey i found your number in my boyfriend's phone and i'm very suspicious

00:05:00 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 4:

listen, can you just tell me, I'm not mad at you, but can you tell me if something's going on? Of course, saying that she's already having to search through his phone. Exactly. Like, if that's your first sign. And I said, I'll do you one better. FaceTime me. I will tell you everything. And did she? Oh, yeah. She FaceTimed me. It was kind of awkward at first because, why are you playing this weird music in the background of this? I got friends in low places. Oh. It was at a country concert. This is not low for me. I feel like this is a high. He's got friends in low places.

00:05:30 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

Okay, wait. So she facetimes you like immediately? Yes.

00:05:33 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 4:

Immediately with her friend. She needed support, I guess. And then I tell her everything that happened. Don't know if they're still together or not.

00:05:40 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 2:

What was her reaction as you're telling her all this? Did she seem surprised?

00:05:45 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 4:

She was upset. Let's say that. She was smiling, but I could tell it was to cover up the upset about finding out that her boyfriend did all this stuff. So I think she was definitely upset.

00:05:57 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 6:

Do you think that, KP, Kev, because you kind of seem like you were grunting and groaning over there, do you think that she's in the wrong for telling this girl all the details, or do you think she should have just lived well enough alone and moved on?

00:06:11 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 5:

Let that man cook. There is a reason why he was at the concert alone in the first place. If they were that together, then she would have been there.

00:06:21 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Maybe she doesn't like country music.

00:06:23 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 5:

You still take, no.

00:06:24 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so any time a guy is alone, he's allowed to cheat?

00:06:28 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 5:

I'm not saying, I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that. Okay, let me just say it. Why, why did you reach out to him? Well, uh.

00:06:38 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 3:

You, uh, you. You being called up. But she would have reached out to KP either now.

00:06:46 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 2:

She called another either way. And I wasn't guilty.

00:06:48 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 4:

I immediately told her. I was like, hey, this is what happened. I just don't, I don't, I don't do that stuff. Is this girl code? It is. Girls, girl. If your boyfriend is cheating and you see, or if you have a friend who has a boyfriend and you see them cheating, you tell them. I don't care. You tell them. Yeah. Maybe it's detective.

00:07:07 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 5:

This is our time. Maybe it's the detective KP where like you went on Facebook. That's wild. Searched him.

00:07:12 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

That's wild by the way. Found him. It's not even detective KP. It's KP Shannon. I'm sorry. Oh my God. Detective Shannon, detective Megan. We're all detectives.

00:07:20 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 6:

So, here's the interesting thing. The interesting thing is that he obviously must be still in a very good relationship with her, that he keeps a picture in his car. I got wife and children. I got no pictures of them in my car.

00:07:32 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 2:

No, it was on his phone. Oh, it was on his phone. Okay.

00:07:35 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 6:

It was on his phone.

00:07:35 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 2:

And obviously, there's an issue if she has to search through his phone consistently to look for numbers she doesn't know.

00:07:41 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 4:

Was it his screensaver? Is that what it was? It was like the first three pictures in his camera roll. Oh, okay. Why were you in his camera roll? Because he was showing me a picture of his motorcycle.

00:07:50 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 6:

Of his motorcycle. Okay.

00:07:54 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 4:

We got this.

00:07:57 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 6:

To his motorcycle.

00:08:01 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 4:

Almost. Blair, what's going on?

00:08:11 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 3:

I just wanted to let KP know that he is completely in the right. Like, girl code, like, letting the other female know is great. You shouldn't let guys be sleazy. Like, she definitely deserves to know that her man was out there trying to mack on the game.

00:08:26 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 4:

Good for you, KP. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Ah.

00:08:30 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 6:

Exactly. I like that. Exactly. Thank you for the call, Blair. Hold on. One more hook hair from, and then I'll take the next call. Come on, KP.

00:08:44 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 2:

I know. It's too high.

00:08:48 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

00:08:49 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay, G.

00:08:59 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Jill.

00:09:01 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 1:

Hello.

00:09:03 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 6:

What's going on?

00:09:05 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

I think Kevin's going to get a bad reputation with listeners. We do not let men do this. Amen. I was talking to somebody a few months ago. We went on a few dates. and he said, oh, I don't really use my Facebook, and, you know, I just have a couple random people and my five sisters. Oh, no, he did not have five sisters. He had a girlfriend.

00:09:25 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, boy. Listen, I got to tell you something, though. I will say this about Kevin, his opinion on this one. He's honest. I mean, listen, I don't agree with him, and I don't agree with him because my wife's listening, but I just want him to know that I appreciate your honesty on that.

00:09:42 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 5:

Well, no, here's my thing. Like, why don't we just let bygones be bygones? What is the point where you realize something's happening and you're like, let me go take action. I have to be the savior.

00:09:54 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 4:

Because I did that one time. Wouldn't you want to know?

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 5:

You go first, Jill.

00:09:57 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 4:

What happened to you?

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 6:

No, she says, wouldn't you want to know?

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, did anyone know if it was you?

00:10:02 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That's the only way you find out. And that's what happened to me in the past with my relationship. I wasn't even aware of certain things, and I didn't know until someone told me. And that I would rather know than go through an entire relationship.

00:10:15 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 1:

I wish somebody would have told me. I know that there are girls that knew about me but never told me.

00:10:19 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 4:

That's true. Does this guy, by the way, keep in contact with you? I know that she reached out to you because she got your number, but has he texted you since that O-down? No, I blocked him. Oh, you blocked him. So how was she able to get a hold of you then?

00:10:33 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 2:

She has my number from his phone. He didn't block me. I blocked him.

00:10:37 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So she then called you from another number.

00:10:39 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 3:

He is so dumb. He is so dumb. You are dumb.

00:10:44 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 2:

So dumb. And what's even worse is the first text that he sent me in the morning was, you're a good kisser. Ew. And so of course the girl, when she looks in the text messages, she knows that's not like a friend.

00:10:57 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 3:

and she's my sister people get so mad at me when i call men stupid but literally look at what they do you can kiss all my ass literally so dumb and also get a personality you're a good kisser the next morning bro you are so bland kp i don't know what it is about you but you do attract

00:11:18 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 2:

just absolute plain bagels i don't i don't get it the absolute worst you know what okay you guys is going to laugh at this his excuse to her was i'm a big fan of mojo in the morning

00:11:30 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 4:

we're gonna lose a listener now we can't afford to lose listeners i would love if he would call us up if he listens to the show i want to hear him what's up tracy

00:11:48 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 5:

yeah i've been through this situation um i had an ex who had been cheating on me for two years and the one he cheated on checks me constantly telling me stuff

00:12:01 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 4:

really what was the worst thing that she called and told you

00:12:05 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 5:

um probably a picture that she was pregnant with his kid oh my god so you had to think for that one oh my god that's unbelievable it it doesn't surprise me that's seems to be the kind of men that are out now out here nowadays i have had friends their boyfriends have cheated on them they've given them stds it's just it's ridiculous wow thank you for the call dave what's up

00:12:37 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 6:

Hey, as a man, that guy's a sleazeball. Yes. I've been married for 42 years. You did a great job turning him in. Yes.

00:12:48 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

Dave.

00:12:49 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 6:

I'm new to your show.

00:12:51 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Really? Where did you come from? Where were you before?

00:12:54 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 6:

I'm from Detroit. I do a lot of driving. I'm a service technician, and, you know, I was just flipping through the stations and caught your show. What did you listen to before? It doesn't matter. And I like the Bob and Tom show out of Toledo, but I don't get it all the time.

00:13:11 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Well, we love that you came in and you're listening to us. Thank you so much.

00:13:15 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 6:

Like I said, I love your show. I love the roses, too. That's awesome. I don't love that one.

00:13:20 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 4:

No, you don't. Oh, my gosh.

00:13:22 - 00:13:23 | Unknown:

Love roses.

00:13:24 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 4:

Carissa, what's up?

00:13:26 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I went on a Bumble date before with a dude. we baked cookies at the end of the day and then the next day he texted me and said that he made a mistake because he was in a relationship he had a not very common name so i found him on facebook and stupid guy doesn't hide his girlfriend on facebook like it showed her name so i messaged her and she believed me but then ended up getting mad at me about the whole entire thing and was blaming me for having sex with him and it's like it takes two people to have sex like wow it was yeah and like that's not the first time something like that has happened like i've reached out to women before to let them know hey your boyfriend just cheated on you and most of the time it's been like receptive very well like they're like thank you and kind of like kp said we have to

00:14:21 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 4:

like women have to stick together this happens a lot to you so you attract a lot of taking guys

00:14:27 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 1:

i wouldn't say it happens a lot but like it's that's not the first time that it's happened like interesting it definitely found out later on that men have been in a relationship i've found out that men have been married and like let their wife know and i usually try to stay out of it after the fact because I feel like I'm doing my part letting them know hey your partner is a piece of crap

00:14:55 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 4:

Janae what's up it's Mojo in the morning if you're just tuning in right now

00:15:00 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 7:

Right now, KP, our producer, encountered a cheater at Hoedown. That's why it's called the Hoedown.

00:15:07 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 2:

Hey, ho, you're going down. Hi, it's Janae. I'm five for five this month, right before the end of the month.

00:15:15 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 7:

I love it, Janae. We're punching that card. You get a free coffee. Pull around that window number two.

00:15:21 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 2:

But, no, I, um, so my situation was kind of, I guess you could say, yeah, it was similar. In college, I had a guy that I was dating. We were a year apart. Actually, we're born in the same year. He's just a few months younger than me. And so the way our birthday fell, I was a sophomore. He was a freshman. Well, I didn't find out until midway through the year when he and I started getting together that, you know, he basically had sex with half his freshman class. At the college, he had had sex with half his freshman class. So there was that. I didn't find that out until that summer, and I found out I was pregnant.

00:16:05 - 00:16:07 | Unknown:

Oh, no. Oh, man.

00:16:07 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So that first time I honestly found out I was pregnant, he was stressing me out because it was during the summer, and I was so stressed from everything, I actually had a miscarriage. Oh, geez. Yeah. So we tried to work it out the following year, and that was my third year of college. And he said, everything's fine. You know, the girl that I was dealing with that stressed you out to the point you had a miscarriage. I'm not talking to her anymore. You know, it's just me and you. And like a dummy, I believed it. And, well, now he's married to the girl. And her son and my daughter are four months apart.

00:16:44 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh. Wow.

00:16:46 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:16:47 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 7:

Does everybody know what's going on?

00:16:50 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, everyone knows for a long time. You know, everybody tried to say I was the second. and so I was the one basically taking care of him and helping him and doing everything and afterwards he played the whole she doesn't let me see my child but you have not called in about six months whatever so you know it is what it is I'm happily married to a man in the army and it's been almost 10 years that we've been together

00:17:18 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 7:

great that's awesome thank you for the call Janae take care of yourself all right kp uh listeners are saying that you need to change your taste in music and guys maybe you need to like try another format of men have you thought about that should i try i don't know have you tried pop alternative have you tried hip-hop and r&b have you yeah have you gone down to uh maybe down the dial a little bit and found yourself some of the new hope music have you found that out i can i'll shuffle my playlist thank you all right maybe that will work for you.
