KP, I told her that she has to get to bed at a decent hour because she is still not used to the waking up and being here so early type thing with the morning show. And last night, you had something happen to you while you were dead asleep. At what time at night?

00:01:55 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 2:

11.30. And I had already gotten to bed. Like I, I've been struggling to fall asleep at a decent hour. And I, last night I did cause I did not take a nap. I listened to what you told me and I didn't nap during the day and I got a phone call and it scared the crap out of me because I don't get phone calls when I'm asleep unless it's an emergency. Like people, the only person who can get through my do not disturb is Mojo or Tony, our PD and Lydia. I have Lydia set so she can get through to me. Um, and my mom, sorry, I'm just going on a tangent. There's a lot on the do. Here's my list of favorites. No. But this call, I forgot to turn on Do Not Disturb, and I regret it because I got a call from somebody, and when I picked up my phone and saw that it was a sales associate from iHeartRadio calling me at 11.30 at night, I was like, oh, someone's about to get their tail. Wait, that is crazy.

00:02:45 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 6:

Was it a butt dial or a missed dial?

00:02:47 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 2:

No. I thought it was a butt dial until I realized that they had left a message, and it was, should I call them? Yeah. Yes.

00:02:56 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 5:

If it's somebody from our job, they should know not to call at 1130 at night unless it's an emergency.

00:03:00 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hey, Hassan, if you're listening, I got your message.

00:03:04 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 1:

What the heck was he calling you at 1130 p.m. for on a school night?

00:03:08 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm sure everyone is aware of my difficulty with cars. I also have a memory issue where I leave my headphones in the car. And this happened to me over Christmas. I left my headphones in the car at a dealership, and they ended up getting stolen from me. So my mom bought me a new pair. They're lovely. wear them to the gym every day i like an idiot left them in the rental car and turned in my car so they were in the glove box and that day i texted the company and said hey i'm gonna car turn around and come back and get my headphones because i left them in the car and they're like nice headphones they're like 300 beats headphones that my mom got me and i'm really upset that i left them in there again and i didn't hear back from them for a week and this mess fit this voicemail was actually not Hassan. It was someone else from the rental company calling me to say that they had sold my headphones on eBay and that I would need to file a claim to quote unquote make something work.

00:04:07 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 1:

So they pranked, they called you at 1130 at night to prank you. I think it was a prank.

00:04:12 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 2:

I totally think that this was a prank.

00:04:14 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 5:

But was Haas' number? So Haas was hanging with his buddy who works there. That's what I would assume because

00:04:19 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 2:

it was so late. He's so mad. This guy at the rental company has my phone number so if it was you know a serious thing one he'd call during normal business hours

00:04:28 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 6:

and two he would call me with his own number right wait wait wait so they called you at 11 30 at night to do this yep and it was from Hassan our sales uh extraordinaire guy do you think that they were really calling to prank you or do you think that it was Haas and his buddies hanging out and they were like because that to me that to me seems like a flirty call

00:04:56 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 2:

I think that it was a prank because you think it was a prank?

00:05:00 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 7:

at the rental company said that he wanted to prank Hassan Hassan told me that he he did a huge favor for me my my car broke down and they gave me a rental car for free for a week and I am so so thankful to them um but the the rep that I got the car from was like you need to prank Hassan and tell him that you paid so much money for this rental and it wasn't actually a favor and I was like oh that's too mean that is so mean I ended up doing it in an email and he believed me for a second and then um it ended up like kind of flopping not gonna lie but um so i think that he was pranking me knowing that he had asked me to prank his son hold on a second it does sound

00:05:36 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 5:

it sounds a little weird there's some actually now that you say that there's a some shenanigans going on here what's up big boy hassan what's good what was up with a call to kp at 11 30 p.m

00:05:50 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 6:

last night oh listen she put an sos out for her beats so i was with mark and mark wanted to give

00:05:59 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 5:

her her beats back hassan was that was that a flirty call was was was he trying to flirt with her or something you guys were out partying or something no i was at his office actually at 11 at 11 30 a night there's business at 11 30 at night tuesday mojo business is open 24 hours

00:06:17 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 6:

It doesn't stop.

00:06:18 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't stop. Oh, man. You got to hustle like Haas, I always say. Yeah. Hassan has done this to me as well. I remember after our Jingle Ball concert, we didn't get off stage. The concert wasn't done until almost midnight. By the time I got home, it was like 1230 in the morning. We had to go. We had to broadcast the next morning. So we were all coming in on like three hours sleep. So I had just gotten home, falling asleep. It was almost 1 a.m. I thought maybe I can get two or three hours sleep before the morning show. My phone rings and it's Haas Haas Who had a few cocktails at the Jingle Ball Like all of us But he's with two obviously very cute girls Who wanted to talk to Spike And Haas Haas called to oblige these listeners And call me and wick me out of a slumber

00:07:04 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 5:

Haas

00:07:05 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 6:

This is a true story

00:07:07 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 3:

Haas parties hard And he works hard

00:07:11 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 5:

So question for you though Who's the one that wants to flirt with KP? Is it Mark or is it you, Haas?

00:07:17 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 6:

I'm putting it on Mark. Listen, I'm not flirting with KP. KP's my coworker. I love her to death.

00:07:22 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, and you've never had relationships with any coworkers around here, right?

00:07:27 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. Oh, here we go.

00:07:30 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 5:

All right, young man.

00:07:34 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 7:

Haas, you need to get those headphones back to me ASAP. I need those. During business hours? If they're on eBay, you need to buy them off eBay and get them to me.

00:07:43 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 5:

What's the company called, Mark's company?

00:07:46 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 7:

American Rent-A-Car.

00:07:48 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 5:

American Rent-A-Car.

00:07:49 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 7:

Shout out to you guys for really saving my life.

00:07:52 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 5:

Mark, if she doesn't get her headphones back, we're coming after you, Mark, at 1130 tonight. Take care of yourself, Haas. What's up, Karen? How you doing?

00:08:01 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm doing good. This is Karen with an I. How are you?

00:08:04 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Karen with an I? I'm glad you clarified.

00:08:08 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, I used to be hub lady, and you guys said not to introduce myself that way. So I'm tearing with an I. Okay. All right. There's no E in there. Okay, KP, I had just texted in and said that this was your payback for doing this to Mojo when you first started. Oh, my gosh.

00:08:24 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

You remembered that.

00:08:25 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 7:

That was my karma. And I thought that immediately after the call. I'm like, yep, this is what it feels like. Mojo really, really should have gone harder on me.

00:08:35 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 5:

She called and woke my ass up from a dead sleep.

00:08:38 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

I only started using Do Not Disturb in the last few months because of KP. No. Honestly, KP, you are the late texter. And I'm always like, oh, my gosh, what happened? There must be something wrong. And I have two college-age daughters that I'm always worried about. And every time I look at the phone at 11 o'clock at night, the text is like, KP.

00:08:58 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 7:

On the weekend, you guys.

00:09:00 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:09:02 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 7:

00:09:04 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 5:

By the way, we're all sending her a text message tonight. Can we schedule a text message?
