over yesterday and uh went over there and she was having some work done to her house and i come in and i hear her and the gentleman that's there from the company assisting her in the dining room area sitting down and they're i guess talking numbers so i don't immediately come in and you know give her a hug and introduce myself, I kind of just like go in the living room, kind of sit down and let them finish doing what they're doing. I hear my mom say, I was quoted a different price. And the guy's like, yeah, but this, this is the price. She's like, I spoke to three different people who all quoted me the same price. He's like, I, you know, I'm sorry. This is, this is what it is. So I say from the room, my, it's okay. We'll just pay for it. I'm sure all calls are recorded for quality insurance purposes we can just deal with it from there and figure out the difference literally the moment i stopped talking and saying what i said he's like i mean we i'm sure we can figure something out i'm sure i can just make a little adjustment here and there and he went with the original price that she told him everybody else had quoted

he realized at that particular time someone was paying attention he got himself into a little bust-in situation, huh?

So in my mind, I'm like, is this a game that he constantly runs? Is this because, she's not an old lady, but she's up in age a little bit. Is it like older people just get game ran on them because people view them as targets?

I feel that way as a woman in general with everything that I get quoted for. I'm like, they think that I, you know, have sucker written on my forehead, but I really do do my due diligence. It's so sad when people take advantage of older people, though. That just pisses me off to no end.

I think that everybody can get taken advantage of because they'll take advantage of them but old people specifically you are literally the scum of the earth if you're doing it but I also feel like you almost need everything in writing these days

Like one time she called to get a refund and a ticket she bought from Ticketmaster. And somehow, you know, she's like 56, so she's not very tech savvy. She got redirected to this guy that was from India or whatever. And he sounded like, no, you have to send us money to get this back. And she's like trying to download apps and stuff. And I'm like, ma, no. Hang up the phone. Hang up the phone. I'm constantly always saving her. Greta, you're listening. I'm telling on you. Hang up the phone, mother fucker.

Yeah. Just hang up on these guys. Those people, by the way, that are the call center people, they won't let you hang up the phone on them. They are just.

And he called them back. And they probably what? Well, they basically had him get, first of all, get like a $100 gift card and then a $500 gift card. That's crazy.

That poor guy. We need more money. We need more money. Is dad with it or is dad just old? Both, you know, with it and old. He is. Or not with it, I guess I was meaning to say. Like, you feel bad to these people that kind of lose a little bit of themselves.

Well, then they get nervous that they're going to be in trouble, so they just do whatever they're asked.

And I will say this. I know some old guys that are really together. They still have their brain about them and stuff like that. Then there's some people that just, you know, they lose it, and they're prime victims for this. Kyle's mom was scammed. What happened to your mom?

She got scammed by the Nigerian prince. Oh, Lord. Guys, people are still falling for that one. Well, that's not the only time. My mom's been scammed four different times by four different calls.

She needs to live with you. Take away her cell phone. No, she needs to live in your house, in a guest room, Kyle.

She does, but I work too much, and she does it while I'm at work.

Her last time, she got scammed for just over $400 because some dude told her that she had to pay to work at a at-home job. She had to buy all kinds of stuff, and they hit her bank account for like $400.

Oh, my gosh. That's nothing compared to Michelle's mother-in-law. How much money did your mother-in-law get scammed out of?

Somebody called her, got on to her religious side, told her that God would watch out for her and be there for her and make sure that everything was okay and her account was being hacked and she needed to remove all of her money from her bank account and deposit it into a Bitcoin machine.
