I'm more amazed at how much Zach and Mojo looks like. I know. They're like twins, bro. But speaking of kids, and I feel like I already know this next topic, which is mine, is May going to the direction of Kev being an a-hole, which I'm totally okay with, even though I don't fully agree with that. But there is something that happens inside of me around this season when parents who you work with Send out emails letting you know that it is time to purchase their children's Girl Scout cookies or those damn pizza kits from whatever company. And I am not the person that is going to sign up to buy your child's cookies or their pizza kits. Now, you may say, Kevin, it's for the kids. Do it for the kids. And I'm not going to say F them babies. I'm not going to go that far, but after cookies, I feel like it's so much pressure.

00:02:25 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 6:

It is. And by the way, I don't know if you're doing this topic because I'm actually passing out all the cookies next week that I have to go pick up that Lucy sold. I really, truly, and I mean this, do not care whether you order cookies or not. Now, I will say Mojo, who is not here to defend himself, nor does he need to, but because he has ordered so many boxes of cookies from Lucy every single year since she started, it got to be like the last couple of days this year and he still hadn't ordered and i'll be damn she sent him a voice note and was like mojo where's your cookie order because he normally orders 20 boxes of cookies we need that rihanna song bitch better have my money for sure i should find the voice memo she was like oh i heard you got a bonus at work the cookies are on sale Lucy is a boss. It was so funny. But I really, really, I get it from your perspective of it's daunting when someone, especially when the kids come through with the sheets themselves. Which they don't really do now for Girl Scout cookies. Forget the sheets. They have to do it online.

00:03:27 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 4:

Sharron's daughter was in here yesterday with the whole outfit on. Yeah, I saw.

00:03:31 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 5:

I find that easier. I'd rather fill out the sheet in the moment than you text me and be like, oh, yeah, I'll get to it in a minute because I'm in the middle of something and then I completely forget about it.

00:03:40 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What side of the aisle do you stand on with this? Are you like pro, bring your sheet to work, make everybody, not make everybody, but make it available for people to sign up for your Girl Scout cookies? Or are you like me where it's just, listen, don't even look in my direction. I'm not buying it. Because I also feel like it's, I don't want you to think that I hate your child. But I do.

00:04:06 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 6:

But the reason I say it doesn't bother, there's always something. If it like Lucy had the Girl Scout cookies, Smith had this kid's heart challenge. There's always something. And so even though I have two children that I that this applies to, I'm not buying the pizza. I'm not buying the chocolate bars. But if you have I think it's the Boy Scouts in my around me that sell somebody sells wreaths and greenery. I'm always down for that. There's certain things I'm always down for. I will always buy.

00:04:35 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 4:

And some things I won't. You are not buying wreaths.

00:04:38 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I do it every year. They sell reefs? Reefs, and then they sell the greenery, the garland. What am I talking about? Garland. Yes.

00:04:46 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 5:

I buy that every year. I'm this kid in my neighborhood. I do feel like somebody might be going to Home Depot, getting a good deal, and then cutting me a house. Well, guess what? It is cheap, and I buy it every year, so keep it coming.

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

You're so dumb. I can't believe it.

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 6:

we're not getting no calls on this, man. I can't be the only person out here who is not a fan of Girl Scout cookies and bringing those into the office.

00:05:07 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 8:

You know, I wonder if Colleen, our boss, feels pressure to buy from everybody that brings that stuff in.

00:05:15 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 7:

If you are the big boss, I assume you're going to support everybody. You got the money.

00:05:20 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 6:

That's politics, too, I feel like. If you big boss style, then it's kind of like, yeah, let me just throw a bone out for the kids one time. You know what I mean? It's like that kind of come with the job description. Yeah. But I respect you if you don't, though. Because I'm not going to eat the cookies. I'm damn sure I'm about to make those pizza kits. They just going to stay in the freezer.

00:05:39 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 8:

You can donate the cookies to the troops. You can order boxes, and they can go right to the troops.

00:05:44 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. So you don't even get them. Wow. Yeah, you really have no excuse not to participate.

00:05:50 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 8:

They'll take square. They'll take your money, however you want to give it to them. Girl Scout.

00:05:57 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, Girl Scout. There's really no excuse. Why don't you just do a drive-by of, like, throwing change at some little girls and be like, give me the cookies!

00:06:03 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 6:

I saved that for Santa Claus. We got Mel on the line. Mel, how do you feel about this?

00:06:11 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 3:

I have noticed that, you know, I usually buy them every year because they're at the grocery store when you walk in and stuff like that. So you do feel the pressure, but it seems that you get less now.

00:06:25 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 8:

Duh, and they're more expensive. Yeah, they did. Now, to defend anybody who is part of a Girl Scout troop, they do amazing things with the money that they raise from the cookies. For sure. Luz has been able to attend some great camps and just experiences and do things for people in the community. So it all does go to a good cause. But you're right. The boxes are getting smaller. The cookies aren't as good as I remember when I was little.

00:06:48 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 7:

But there's a reason why they don't just sell the cookies on store shelves and then say, hey, the money is going to the Girl Scouts. It's because it's overpriced for a few cookies. and you can't say no to a child. It is all manipulative. And then they get me every time.

00:07:02 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. We might have somebody with a different opinion, though. Someone with a different thought. Christina, what say you?

00:07:12 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I was calling. My daughter actually sells Girl Scout cookies. And I agree with Kevin. And I would rather somebody just be like, no, thank you. I don't want to buy cookies. Then be like, oh, maybe, maybe later.

00:07:26 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, it doesn't hurt my feelings. I'm grateful for the people that do. And if you don't, it's not like I'm shooting daggers at you every time I walk past your desk at work. It's one of those heartstrings. Oh, I agree. Yeah. But you're putting that on yourself is what I'm saying. And if there's, I mean. I mean, I don't know if Sharon, whose daughter was in here yesterday, you know, voodooed you when she got home because you didn't buy any cookies. But you'd have to ask her. I really don't care.

00:07:52 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, no, it wasn't Sharon. I think it's more so like when you bring in the list and then everybody else is buying cookies and I'm just kind of sitting over here like, yeah, that ain't going to be me. Amanda, how do you feel about this? Amanda, you there?

00:08:10 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. Hey, good morning, Amanda. Hi, I think I'm one of those people that intentionally avoid eye contact when I see a Girl Scout booth. And why do they do it towards the beginning of the year when people make, like, fitness goals? It's just, it's a whole guilt trip. I've never understood that.

00:08:27 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 7:

They do it at different times around the country. Oh, they do? So we get it in January.

00:08:32 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 8:

Loose sold for the month of January. Yeah.

00:08:34 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 7:

So Ohio has a different one than Michigan does.

00:08:37 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 8:

Oh, okay.

00:08:38 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 7:

So it cycles through. You just got unfortunate.

00:08:40 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 8:

And by the way, you can order cookies from the Girl Scout website year-round. Yeah.

00:08:45 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to just give Loose $20, bruh. What are you just going to do? Let's just throw Loose money. You know what I mean? We don't eat the cookies. We ain't got to be under the table. It's going to go right to Sephora. Just keep your money. That's what I'm saying.

00:08:56 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 1:
