And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.

It's a mojo in the morning. So Kev did a daytime date with a lady. Yeah. And he is the most unromantic guy in the world.

00:01:29 - 00:01:45 | Speaker 6:

That's what she said. That's what she made me feel like. So we went kayaking yesterday. And I love to kayak. I go to Belal. It's not crazy expensive. Belal, I think, is a beautiful destination. And it's not a lot of people out there during the daytime. You have your own kayak?

00:01:46 - 00:01:47 | Speaker 7:

No. Can you rent kayaks there?

00:01:47 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 6:

You can just go rent kayaks. All right. So I told the girl, I'm like, let's go kayaking. She was down. And when we got there, first off, she was looking cute. She had like a nice short two-piece set on, and I don't know what she was thinking, but I had pants on, high socks, high Air Force Ones, a full jacket with glasses and my hood on. You're going to wear that kayaking? Yeah. First off, what if the kayak falls into the water where you're going to be all wet? Well, no, because I'm the one that's clothed. You know what I mean? I'm fully clothed. She's the one, you know, skinless. Then I throw a life jacket on, and I'm ready to go. Now, when I go kayaking, I look at it as, like, not only a good time, but also a workout. You know what I mean? Because you're moving, and I'm, like, there for speed. It's not easy. Now, it's not easy, but it's a good time. Yeah. And you can have fun doing it. She thought that we were going to have more of a communal experience, and that's not what I was there for. Explain. Well, first off, she thought we were going to do it in tandem, where you have, like, me in the front and her in the back or however it go. And I said, that's not going to happen. Wait, why? It's just a date. You're on a date. You can be a date and have a single kayak. I'm never coming tandem kayak. I don't want to be responsible for you. I don't want to feel like I'm doing all the work. I don't want to feel like we got to be together the whole time. Like, enjoy yourself. Then why do it as a date?

00:03:13 - 00:03:15 | Speaker 3:

Wait, please tell her you did not say any of those things to her.

00:03:15 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 6:

Not fully, but yes. I did say I don't want to be with you. And then I did. But in a way, we're like, you get it, though. Like, I don't want to be bogged down by you. Oh, my God. You are dumb.

00:03:29 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 3:

What is wrong? You are dumb. Where's Antoine Dodson? She's dumb.

00:03:33 - 00:03:37 | Speaker 6:

She still had a good time, though, but have a good time on your own. Then she also felt like.

00:03:37 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 3:

You is a dumb motherfucker.

00:03:39 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 6:

She also felt like I wasn't around her the entire time because I would go off. Why were you leaving her? Oh, you would take off. Because she's like, you know, she's taking pictures and she's not trying to get to it. I'm trying to get to it.

00:03:51 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 3:

What are you working out?

00:03:53 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 6:

A bit of a year.

00:03:54 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 3:

Then you should have went by yourself and gotten a workout in.

00:03:56 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 7:

When you say you're getting to it, weren't you getting on a date? Wasn't this whole point a date?

00:04:03 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 6:

So I told her it was a moment where I said, let's race. She was okay with that.

00:04:07 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I already hate, I don't like this date.

00:04:09 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 6:

Definitely be. I mean, she's competitive, so she enjoyed it. I didn't start off like, okay, you see that tree down there? First one to the tree goes. We kissed under the bridge. Like, there were moments where.

00:04:19 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 5:

On the kayaks?

00:04:20 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:04:20 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 5:

Dang. That's what I'm saying.

00:04:21 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 6:

There were moments where. You're lucky that you didn't fall in. Well, no. I mean, I'm pretty good. I know how to put it in reverse. I know how to pull our kayaks together. Like, it was some date moments. Did she know how to do the kayak? I mean, it's not difficult. As long as you can move left and right.

00:04:34 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 7:

Right, but maybe that was a little bit of her wanting to be in the same one with you because she was less confident than you are.

00:04:40 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 6:

She's like one of these ladies that just want the guy to do all the work.

00:04:44 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:04:44 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 6:

All right, come on. Right, Shannon? No.

00:04:45 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you, my husband is the athletic one in our relationship, and I've gone kayaking a few times with him, And I've banned it now because I'm like, we always get into some sort of argument when we are kayaking. Because y'all kayaked together? Yes, I'm doing it wrong. See?

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 2:

you know you're out of sync yeah exactly crisis averted that's why you get your own but if

00:05:04 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 4:

somebody said to me you will bog me down and that's why i don't want to kayak with you

00:05:10 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 3:

i'd walk my butt right in the other direction what you did was you took her on a date to a restaurant and sat at two different tables you didn't sit at the same table with her i have my speaker or you took her to a movie and you had somebody sitting in between you that's what you did uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to know if any women single women even if you're in a relationship what would you do if a guy did this to you what would you do if a guy said we're going on a kayak a kayak i like how he says it a kayaking date see i just said let's go kayaking we're going kayaking wearing all of his clothes for god's sakes first i don't want that water

00:05:51 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 2:

splashing on my skin you know what i mean like you gotta come fully clothed for that type of

00:05:56 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Usually you go kayaking, you're wearing a pair of shorts and bathing suits.

00:06:01 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 2:

Why the fruit jump in? Yeah. That's not how I kayak.

00:06:06 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Amy, what do you think about this date guy over here?

00:06:11 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 5:

Not nice, Kev.

00:06:13 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What's the not nice part?

00:06:16 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 5:

Well, I mean, if she wanted to go together, she's probably never done it before, so she wanted a little reassurance that she could do it, so she probably wanted to ride together. I think this is a man thing. My fiance does this to me all the time when we ride bikes. That guy is three miles ahead of me, and I'm like, why am I even with you? I didn't know you were a BMX rider. Like, what are we doing?

00:06:42 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 2:

You're dating Lance Armstrong.

00:06:44 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh, especially in Mackinac, that guy, I'm like, all right, I'll catch you on the next lap, I guess. I don't know what to tell you.

00:06:52 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 3:

See him on the way back. Oh, my God.

00:06:54 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 5:

We high five. Yeah, exactly.

00:06:57 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 3:

Thanks, Amy. Appreciate it. What's going on, Colleen? How are you? I'm great. How are you? We're doing okay.

00:07:04 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 5:

That was a dick move, and I like Kevin. Come on. Agreed. Agreed, Colleen. What part was the dick move? I'm sorry, but I'm skeptical now. That's a dick move. What part? You're on a date. You go with her.

00:07:17 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 2:

So what was the dick move, Colleen? Did it start off being a dick move when I didn't want to do tandem, or was it the fact that I left her? Or all of it?

00:07:26 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 5:

All of it? All of the above? What the heck are you doing? What are you thinking? You're on a date. You're supposed to impress this girl.

00:07:34 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so what about the part where I slowed down under the bridge, told her to come here. Oh, how sweet for a minute. The current is taking us away from each other, but I'm gently pulling us in. We arrived together. I hold the kayak next to her, grab her by the back of her hair, You're just such a sweetheart there. This is a beautiful night. By the way, none of that probably happened.

00:07:58 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 5:

I want her perspective.

00:08:00 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 3:

I want that perspective from her.

00:08:02 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I wish she would call in because I'd be like, what the hell?

00:08:06 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 3:

Let's call U.S. Coast Guard and see if they have any video of this going on. What's going on, Damien? Hi.

00:08:13 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Mojo? Hey, don't let them be mean to you, Kevin. Thank you. You're not wrong. Come to my defense. I ain't trying to have nobody flip my kayak over either, man.

00:08:21 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

How is she going to flip the kayak over?

00:08:24 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 1:

It gets rough out there on the waters, Mojo. I'm telling you, man. You got to get out there. Yeah, especially in Detroit River. It gets rough.

00:08:29 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 3:

Here is this girl that is looking to have a time to be able to talk to him, and he won't even let her, you know, be in the same kayak.

00:08:40 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 1:

Did you guys drive separately to Belle Isle, too? No, no, your voice carries over the water. You're good. You got to be far away.

00:08:46 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

Did you let her sit in your car when you guys drove over there? She sat in the trunk. Damien, you're as unromantic as Kevin is over here, that you think that there's nothing wrong with it. Oh, here we go. It's unreal. Oh, my God. Jamal, what's up, Jamal? How you doing? What's going on, Mojo?

00:09:04 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 4:

I got a good one. Yeah, tell us. One time I went kayaking in, like, Ann Arbor, and it's a lot of, like, little, like, terrains, rough terrains, kind of. And I was going, and my wife was in front of me, actually, And she's going, she's pedaling on and on, and I'm going, I'm going. And I flip over, and she just kept going. She just kept going downstream, and I'm like, help, help. And she just kept going. Just kept going. I'm like, help. She didn't even look back. No hesitation. Didn't even look back at me. Didn't even nothing. I finally caught up there about a mile down. I'm like, where'd you go? She goes, oh, I thought you were behind me the whole time. I'm like, really? You did not even look bad. Were you talking to anybody? Nothing. She was not no romantic whatsoever. She didn't even care about the romantic.

00:10:00 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 5:

You could have died. It's crazy. Yeah. I would love to do a second date update with her. I know this could be two. This could be Kevin for Am I the A-Hole, or this could be a second date update to see if there is a second date after this whole thing, or will she be over with?

00:10:14 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 6:

Maybe she'll call voice disguise.

00:10:16 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 5:

Why? Do we not want to hear her voice?

00:10:18 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 6:

Is she awake right now? Well, not everybody likes to be out here. Okay.

00:10:24 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 7:

We know her, don't we?

00:10:25 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 6:

I don't think so. We might, though.

00:10:28 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 7:

Is this our Detroit girl?

00:10:29 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 6:

Could be.

00:10:30 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 5:

All right.

00:10:30 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 7:

White Jeep girl. Oh, actually,

00:10:32 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 5:

she's probably,

00:10:33 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 7:

I have people asking me, is it white? Everybody wants to know who this girl is. All right. We talked about her before. She's a kayak girl.

00:10:41 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Kayak girl. Now, exactly.
