All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. Yesterday was Mother's Day, and Kevin proves again he is the worst son ever. That's not true. Where is Kev's mom at this morning? Do you know that this guy chose to not be with his mom? That's not true. To go to a concert.

You didn't see your mom at all yesterday?

Shannon, let's have a conversation. Okay. Let's leave him out of this conversation. We provide honesty in our conversations. Mojo's not the most honest guy, but he's on Painkiller, so I'm not going to judge him. So my mom spent the night Saturday. So it started Saturday evening. She came over, got some great rest, watched a great movie, woke up in the morning. I provided breakfast, a little wheat toast, a little scrambled eggs, a little bacon. Took her home to get ready for church. Took her to church. This is sounding great. Yeah, it is. My mom loves the water. Took her to Belle Isle. Not before we stopped at Sweetwater. Got some chicken and some wings. Grabbed a little Arizona to wash it down. Watched the water. Came home. She was asleep. She was tired. And then I decided to go see Big Sean.

At what point did you leave your mom to go see Big Sean? It was 8 p.m. at that point.

Oh, you're fine. You feel me? I felt like I did my due diligence as an amazing child celebrating his amazing mom. At that point, you can leave, right, at 8 p.m.? The night's over. That's acceptable.

Because it was 24 hours at that point.

I don't know. That's a lot of time.

I did a lot. Your mom was probably sick of you.

You couldn't even spend dinner with her? You couldn't even? I made her a chicken salad before I left.

so tough about mother's day though for moms of i would say maybe younger kids is the sports schedule doesn't stop so all of my friends yesterday we were all and we skipped a few things just because my sister hosted myself and my mom and our mom for a brunch so we skipped a few games in the morning but all of my mom friends were all on the lacrosse field the football field the baseball field in hockey arenas all day yesterday i will tell you i saw you that you

had a picture of you sitting out there i'm thinking to myself that coach is an a-hole because luke played for coaches that would cancel mother's day games we would for we forfeited mother's day games because he wouldn't do mother's day well like i said the first part of the day i

was like we are not doing any sports i love watching smith play football yeah and he's actually really super good at it so that i wanted to go to that but i mean some moms were out all

I think what you did for your mom was awesome. And I'm a first-time mom. This is my first Mother's Day. And I got a card and some flowers for my four-month-old, which was awesome. I mean, okay, sure. Maybe if you would have asked her. But shoulda, coulda, woulda. He did what he did for her. And I don't think he should feel bad for that at all.

At all. And my mom is a quality time person. So the fact that I took her to Belle Isle, which is something that we used to do a lot when I was younger. I mean, when my dad was incarcerated, I felt like my mom went through like a serious like depression. And watching water is extremely therapeutic for her. So going to Belle Isle was like some of that. Do you think she dreamed of throwing you into the water when you said we were leaving to go to the concert? I think you probably dreamed of throwing me into the water and then you realized you only had one arm.

Was your sister around yesterday?

so i i did end my mother's day on the soccer field yesterday um so i can relate but i keep living and trying to remember that it won't always be like this and someday they'll be gone yes so i i tried to revel in it and we were victorious so it all worked out i'm gonna tell

you this we did many a games and now looking back with all the kids pretty much out of the house growing up you know i i will we chelsea and i will drive by sometimes little league parks and stay you know it wasn't so bad like we hated it when we were in it i used to pray for rain i did rain dances all the time and now it's like i would go back to those days but it's always what you don't have right like kevin's mom didn't have a child steven hi good morning somebody worse than kevin's on the phone with us right now go ahead steven what did you do yesterday i told my mom
