All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Kev and Zach got trapped in the parking lot, parking garage, right?

00:01:24 - 00:01:28 | Speaker 5:

They did. We were in Ohio, in Toledo, for Mud Hens opening day.

00:01:29 - 00:01:30 | Speaker 4:

How was that, by the way?

00:01:30 - 00:01:37 | Speaker 5:

It sucked. No, no, I'm just kidding. It rained, so the weather wasn't ideal, but the experience was still there. Toledo's a great place.

00:01:37 - 00:01:38 | Speaker 4:

They do opening day.

00:01:38 - 00:01:38 | Speaker 5:

They do.

00:01:39 - 00:01:39 | Speaker 4:

Big.

00:01:39 - 00:01:47 | Speaker 5:

We have Frickers. Megan always talks about Frickers. Oh, how was it? It was all right. It was all right. You can only say that when she's not here.

00:01:48 - 00:01:51 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Because that is her favorite. She's out sick today, so maybe that rain caused her to get sick.

00:01:51 - 00:01:55 | Speaker 5:

It was cool. Yeah, it was a great time. I met Scott Sands. Shout out to Scott Sands.

00:01:55 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 4:

Scott's a great dude.

00:01:56 - 00:02:03 | Speaker 5:

We had a great time, man. But when we were ready to leave, we weren't able to leave as swiftly as we had imagined.

00:02:04 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 6:

And we had to leave, like, real quick because Kev had a game.

00:02:08 - 00:02:09 | Speaker 5:

You had to come back for the Pistons game.

00:02:09 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so as soon as we were done, we had a dip. And we got caught in, I don't even know, what is it, a parking garage?

00:02:17 - 00:02:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like a traffic jam inside of a parking garage.

00:02:19 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 4:

The worst is when you're leaving games or any kind of downtown area after a show.

00:02:25 - 00:02:25 | Speaker 6:

Anything at the Vox Theater.

00:02:25 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 4:

And you're on level five, and you've got to go through that whole thing.

00:02:30 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 5:

I always have the worst look if there are multiple lanes for you to pull in, whether it's toll booths, whether I'm at McDonald's. I always feel like the lane I pick is the slowest lane. Yeah. So we're in that situation where there are two different lanes, and we're in one, and it's not moving.

00:02:47 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 6:

But I stick in the middle, so I try not to have anyone come up. I'm the next person, and these cars are struggling. And do you want to talk about the truck guy, or should I? Go ahead. All right, so both of these cars are stuck. There's a big truck on our right and a small vehicle on our left. And the guy in the truck gets out of his vehicle, and he's like, let me help you, because mine's not working. Let me help you get out of here. so instead of you know grabbing her credit card and trying to like swipe it he actually lifts the gate and he breaks the gate to try to get the car out but he's not strong enough so the gate kind of just cracks and uh it's still in place and she can't get through and she can't now it's screwed she's screwed and he's like oh sorry so he walks back in his truck and he doesn't talk to her for

00:03:35 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 4:

the rest of the time and this was just some random guy so what did the parking lot people say was

00:03:40 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 6:

There was like an attend button, and they didn't come until, fast forward, we were there.

00:03:46 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 4:

I hate parking lot garages, and this happens in not just Toledo. This happens everywhere. It happens in Detroit. It happens in Grand Rapids, where you go to get out of the thing, and it's not taking your credit card, and you got to hit the button, and it's like, ring, ring. Hello? Did you try this? Yeah. If I didn't, I'd try this thing. And then the person's like, well, hold on a second. And they're trying to figure out, like, they should just have a button to push and open the damn door.

00:04:16 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 3:

There should be a door there. Some sort of door. They do.

00:04:17 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 4:

They do. No, the reason, oh, they did have a guy there?

00:04:20 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no, I'm saying parking garages have that button to just lift the gate up.

00:04:24 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 4:

But they don't have a guy there because they're too cheap. They don't want to pay for somebody to be on an attendant there. Because I would like to have the guy there. I get this at the airport all the time when I'm pulling out of the airport parking. Yeah. And it's like, my damn ticket doesn't work. And then I got to have somebody there. It drives me crazy.

00:04:40 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 6:

Or the ink is, like, too gone, so it won't scan the ticket. Yes. The Detroit garages used to be the worst, and they finally got rid of it and did that Metropolis app now that just scans your license.

00:04:50 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 4:

I just want to be the guy, like, on those old cop shows just to drive through the thing.

00:04:54 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so my friend did that. She did? She went through the gate. My friend did that. She.

00:05:00 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 1:

had her kids in the back and i can't remember if she all of a sudden like it was only it was cash only and she didn't have any cash on her and the lady kept telling her that you can get out there's an atm down the street turn the block whatever and she's like there are 20 people in the parking garage behind me i can't back up i've got babies in the back seat so she in her white minivan just drove through the thing and broke it scratched the entire side of her car but she didn't care She had to get home. She had to get out.

00:05:31 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 3:

What are those things made of? I always wondered. Are they made of like plexiglass or something like that?

00:05:36 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 4:

I mean, the dude, to Zach's point, he broke it.

00:05:38 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 3:

He did.

00:05:39 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 4:

So it wasn't heavy. He could not lift it all the way.

00:05:41 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 3:

He was pissed, though. So what did you guys do then? And were you able to get out in time? Did you guys go through the broken one? No, we picked the wrong lane.

00:05:51 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 2:

And I had to call the guy. Who drove? Who was driving? I was driving. Zach was driving.

00:05:55 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 3:

Zach. No, no, it was fine. I picked the wrong way. Do you set the screen, by the way? Like, and you were saying how, like, if there's two lanes, but you're the one person and you don't have to make the decision fast enough, do you park right in the middle just to see?

00:06:06 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 2:

I did. I was like, I'm not letting anyone go. I'm doing this.

00:06:09 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 4:

I saw something on Instagram. It was, don't do this because it's probably, like, illegal. But it was a great way of operating inside of a parking garage where you pull a ticket and you don't have to pay. Like, some garages have, if you stay here for under two hours, you don't have to pay. So they showed the video. The guy's in the passenger seat with the camera recording a driver who gets out of his car. He's about to exit. Gets out of the car. Walks over to the entrance to punch a new ticket. And then brings that new ticket over and scans that.

00:06:38 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

But don't they have. Oh, and then he's paying like the bare minimum. Yes, he's getting out for free. Or he's there within an hour. That's actually a great. Do that. That's not a great deal. I thought he was pulling the ticket. The gate opened on the come in and he drove out. That's what I was thinking. They have spikes in those things, don't they? Some of them. They'll say, don't back up, you know, say don't back up or you might get your ticket.

00:06:59 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 4:

I remember I rented a car. I was going to New York one time, rented a car, and it felt like it took them forever to allow me to leave. Like, I'm sitting in the car waiting. Finally, I just drove over it, and I guess I drove over to Spikes, and they ran out. And you drove right through it. Yeah, but I didn't blow any tires.

00:07:14 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 3:

Parking garage. Like, this is the, you know, we're broadcasting opening day for the Tigers. These guys were there for opening day for the Mud Hens. I have to be quite honest with you. I hate going to any big events like that for the parking. I don't mind, I don't even mind braving the, actually I don't, I do. I don't like being out in cold weather. To me, baseball should be played like on a 75 or 80 degree day. So if it's rainy and cold, you're not going to see me. I'll be doing the broadcast and getting in my car on the way home and watching it on FanDuel television or whatever. But the parking is miserable.

00:07:49 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 4:

Can't handle it.

00:07:50 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 3:

And I'm one of those people that I got to have good parking. And a lot of times I'll sit there and I'll go, hey, I forgot my season pass. Have you ever done that? I did this. This is a good one. I said, man, my phone locked up on me. I can't get into the thing. And I turned my phone off. I said, I'm sorry, because, you know, everything's now on your phones. Yeah, it's digital. And they scanned the thing. And they couldn't figure it out. They let me in. There's a hack. There you go. They said, man, well, you know, you got to have it. But what are they going to do? Make me back up? I got 8,000 cars behind me.

00:08:17 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 4:

That's the thing, bro. And I'm not trying to do that.

00:08:19 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:08:19 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 4:

Just let me through. Screw these people. It's one car.

00:08:23 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, should I tell them it was actually user error? You did. Yeah. Well, so when we finally get out, a gentleman comes up. He's like, oh, all of you guys have been putting in your card wrong. So flip it upside down. So like 20 people. Does it show you an example of it? No, there was no sticker, nothing. Well, that's their fault.

00:08:45 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Did you guys go to Tony Paco's? Did you guys get to?

00:08:48 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 2:

I wanted to, but no.

00:08:50 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Megan didn't take you to Tony Paco's?

00:08:51 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 1:

I don't think she wanted to go there, yeah. Did she take you to the Dirty Bird?

00:08:55 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Dirty Bird's great. I don't know none of these names, bro.

00:08:58 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

You didn't go to the Dirty Bird?

00:09:01 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 4:

Shout out to Daniel, too. We pulled up on Daniel. He was there. Shout out to Freaker. Freaker was straight. No, tell them what you said.

00:09:08 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

You were like, this isn't as hot as I thought it was going to be.

00:09:10 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 4:

So they brought some mild, like, boneless wings. And I'm like, all right, I need some more heat. What's the next level? She's like, go Nashville. I'm like, all right, bet. Nashville hot was like not hot at all. It was worse than mild. I'm like, what is this?

00:09:21 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Let me ask you this question. Did Megan do what we said she does whenever you're in Toledo and she did it to Zach? Did she do, was she tour guide in it? Was she like telling you, Kevin, like more information than you wanted to know about places in Toledo? I wouldn't say more information, but she definitely tour guide.

00:09:37 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 2:

She was like, that was my first building. Right there.

00:09:39 - 00:09:40 | Unknown:

I was like, wow.

00:09:40 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

Megan, by the way, you know what we should do? If anybody's listening to us in Toledo, can we make Megan a tour guide and we do a Megan tour where we do the tour of Megan?

00:09:52 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

And we'll have people, you know how people like, and everybody will have the headsets where you can listen to either the recorded voice or Megan talking to you?

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

We got to do this for her birthday.

00:10:00 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 3:

That's what we got to do, and we all, we'll get every listener, we'll get as many people that want to sign up for it, to go from, like, wherever your listening area is, we're going to get a tour of Toledo from Megan. And we need to get her a key to the city. Oh, my God. Megan, look, she loves Toledo. She's just proud of her community and her city. For sure. She loves it. I love it. But see that. If you work in the mayor's office, email me. Mayor Kapkavich. There's something like that, right? We got to make that happen. Kapkavich. I'll call Scott Sands, and I'll get all the information. He's like the vice mayor of the city.
