Is this, Kevin, a friend or is it you? Because sometimes when a story comes up on the radio where Kev will say, I have a friend, I know he has no friends.

00:01:47 - 00:01:51 | Speaker 5:

No, this is me, though. I can't even dodge this one. This is me.

00:01:51 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 4:

Okay. But if it was, I have a friend, it would be because it would be an embarrassing situation. Is that what we're saying?

00:01:56 - 00:02:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, I think I've only used that maybe once on this show. Other times, you know, I try to stay true.

00:02:04 - 00:02:08 | Speaker 4:

You know what I can tell? When you smile those pearly, beautiful teeth of yours.

00:02:08 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 5:

I appreciate you. I got in a plane. I'm so glad you said that. I got to see Dr. Reynolds today. But, yeah, man, I might need a lawyer, too, because I almost talked to a minor. I'm in Target yesterday. I had to grab a battery because my key file was about to die. and i grabbed the battery grab some other things because you just can't go into target and grab one thing i get to the self checkout hit my little boot boot and when i boot the uh the battery a little message come up on the screen like it basically need assistance i'll see this pretty little light skin thing come on i'm like oh okay she got these long fingernails well and they're not like stupid long where they like curling but they're longer than the average bear and Not only are they long, but they're extremely designed. Like, she got, like, gold rectangle ridges. It's nice, beautiful emerald green. He's, like, describing every bit of her. I'm telling you, because remember, I'm at the self-checkout and the notification popped up. So she has to tap the screen to get to whatever area she needs to get to to put her coat in to remove what she needs to remove.

00:03:18 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 4:

Are they so long that when she's tapping, you hear?

00:03:20 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. You can hear the tap. Yeah, you can hear it. But I'm so mesmerized by the wicked, you know, golden greenness she got going on. So I'm like, okay, man, those are some nice nails. I know it's none of my business, but do those prevent you from doing certain things? And she's like, no, they okay. I'm like, oh, those are nice. I'm like, you always get them that long? She's like, no, I don't usually get them this long. I got them this long for a special occasion. Oh, what was going on? She's like, it was homecoming.

00:03:49 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 2:

I was like, I said, wait, what? I can see your face in this moment.

00:03:59 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 5:

I say, what? Now, in my... You... You... You see, cause... Cause... You understand what I'm saying. For real. Oh, my gosh. So, in my mind, I'm like, okay, there are a lot of people recently that have posted, like, Collegiate homecoming Like reunion Like Yeah You know what I mean The booty cheeks Are out there Yes The booty cheeks Them little bubble skirts Yes Yes Dog It's a lot of that Type college homecoming So in my mind I'm like Okay What school She's like North Farmington I was like Okay Just ring me up I think we're good Play a diddy song Please don't I think we're good Oh my god Thank you so much For your assistance Play a diddy song

00:04:48 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh I'm telling you You know what though It's an honest mistake All you did was compliment me

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 3:

her fingernails yes and once you realized her age you you know back your way none of that

00:05:06 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 5:

you're not going no further no sir not me oh my god that's craziness you know what's weird though i don't know if you ever think about this it's weird to think that in a few years from now when she is over the age of 18 or whatever who knows how old she is that technically you could date a girl that age, but yet it still is just as weird. Like, I don't know.

00:05:34 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 4:

You can get hired at Target while you're in high school? I didn't even consider that. And be a manager. I thought you had to be at least 18 to be working at Target. No, you're 16 years old. Listen, I had no idea.

00:05:48 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 5:

Some kids are 14 years old working.

00:05:49 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 4:

I feel like there are some businesses where that's okay. I feel like Target, you should be 18.

00:05:54 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, I don't know.

00:05:57 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 3:

I feel like Target, you should be like 60 plus because they're always the nicest when I'm checking out.

00:06:03 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 5:

I think nowadays, you know, you're seeing kids that work really, really young.

00:06:07 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 4:

Like she was in there running the spot. Like she had to come over and put a coat in to make sure my stuff works.

00:06:11 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 5:

This is why I'm glad I don't have a daughter. Like I'm telling you, I'm so glad I don't have a daughter because, you know, you see, first off, do girls look like this when we were younger?

00:06:23 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 3:

So I was going to make this comment. Lucy is obviously, she's 10 and a half years old, but she is, and she's my daughter. So of course I'm going to say this, but she is like beautiful and trendy and she can curl her hair. And like I, every once in a while I'll let her put on like a little bit of this milk blush that she conned me into buying her at Sephora. You know, when I was in fifth grade, I looked like an ogre. Like I wore silk shirts from JCPenney and I had the Ringo Starr haircut. It was still a bowl cut.

00:06:50 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 2:

it's not the same but we're missing the thing that determined a child and that was the bath and body works roll on glitter yeah and if you were wearing that that was your scent you knew you were 14 shout out to plumeria that was the best one as a kid yeah as a wife

00:07:10 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 5:

yeah i i'm telling you i i do think if i had if if i had a daughter i would have my daughter like literally uh with a sign on that says i'm 15 years old or whatever the deal is put her in

00:07:26 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 3:

karate you know what i mean oh i wish i could have been a fly on the wall for this although

00:07:30 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 5:

can i tell you something though like the boy like luke gets this so so my son luke now luke is obviously he's a he's in college now but when he was in high school we we would post a picture of luke and there would be women that would go oh my god look at this and i would be going I'm jealous. What about his dad? But it's weird, though, isn't it? It's it's it's I don't know. It's crazy. Kevin, Kevin, Kevin. No, I got my battery. I got the hell on. Good luck in chemistry tomorrow. I like Kevin's comment where he goes, you can be 18 years old and work there.

00:08:08 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 4:

And not like, I didn't know that. I didn't know that. That seems super young. I feel like Target is like a, I don't know. I just don't see it as a place for younger than 18 years old.

00:08:15 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 3:

What if you're casting out with alcohol? Are they allowed to cash you out if you're buying? Like, if I'm buying, you know. You have to be 19 to serve alcohol.

00:08:22 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm not sure what it is to sell. You don't even have to be 21 to serve? I was in the United States, but I was never a server. You have to be 21 to pour, 19 to serve. Really? At least in Ohio.

00:08:32 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 5:

Call us up and tell us what the laws are, if you know the law wherever you are right now. Michigan, Ohio, 844-MOJO-LIVE. Can you, so, to work, can you be 14 or 13? What is the, what's the law?

00:08:46 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 4:

I used to be 14 with a permit back in the day.

00:08:49 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 3:

It was 14 and a half, I think. I think it's younger. No, wait. It was super specific, I remember.

00:08:56 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 2:

But then there's different rules for family businesses, too.

00:08:59 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. Jen. Really? Jen, are you there?

00:09:00 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:09:01 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Jen, what's going on?

00:09:04 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 1:

So my 13-year-old has the same size boobs as my 19-year-old. She is in a D cup.

00:09:11 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez.

00:09:12 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm an eight.

00:09:14 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:09:14 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 1:

She has the butt to match. And twerking is her favorite thing. I don't know what to do about it. It's TikTok.

00:09:22 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. Yeah, these kids are growing up way too fast these days. Question, how old can your kids be to work? We're trying to figure that out.

00:09:29 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 4:

It says the minimum age to work in Michigan is 14 years old, but it has some exceptions. Caddying, you can be 11 years old. That's the youngest that I'm seeing, and then it goes from there.

00:09:41 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right. What's up? Is it Risa or Ressa?

00:09:47 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 4:

It's Risa, R-E-S-A. Hi, Risa.

00:09:49 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Risa?

00:09:51 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 4:

What up, though? So anyway, because I buy plenty, plenty, plenty of alcohol at Target, Kroger, Walmart, United. it if they are under 21 they have to physically call someone over that is over 21 to enter your

00:10:08 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 9:

information they cannot do it at all okay so if they're working if that girl was the only person working in the customer service counter she has to find another person older to come over then

00:10:20 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 4:

that's correct she has to find someone that is 21 or older to enter your identification they cannot do it okay thank you for the call just like i thought you were not able to walk alcohol out the store unless you were 21 i've seen plenty of people have their kids well under 21 push the basket out of the store i thought that was a thing in michigan but apparently i'm wrong i

00:10:45 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 9:

doordash booze to my house recently can you doordash the booze or no you have to be 20 21 to

00:10:50 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 4:

doordash no no no no so i used to doordash for like two years and sometimes that's all they had

00:10:56 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 9:

you do all day with alcohol orders you have to be 21 to do that as well okay uh desiree re hello

00:11:05 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 7:

yes hi let's try and bow yeah um so yes um i just have the state and actually at the bar that um in michigan and i have some several i have one that's 17 years old and i have a 19 year old that does serve and that is illegal by the state um whitmore just put that in place due to the fact

00:11:25 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 9:

that the low staff you could be 17 years old and working behind a bar at a place huh yes but the

00:11:34 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 7:

17 year old has to have an 18 year old in the place at all times is that in michigan but yes

00:11:40 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 8:

that's in michigan and how many times do you like pour something and spill a little bit on your

00:11:44 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 7:

thumb and go i don't ever do that no come on man we all do that it's so interesting how different No, I'm actually not a big drinker.

00:11:54 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 9:

They do it with a straw. You ever do that? See them when they do that with a straw? Where they stick the straw in there, they suck the, you know, take the end, and they taste it with the straw.

00:12:03 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I probably have seen that, but I've never done that myself.

00:12:06 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 9:

How many times have you had an older guy hitting on you?

00:12:11 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 7:

Well, I'm over 21, but yes, I have had an older guy, and I have also had them hit on my employees that are 17 to 19, yes. So, Desiree, they do let the people know right away that they are 17 and 19 immediately.

00:12:27 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 6:

Desiree, how old do you have to be to poor in Michigan?

00:12:30 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 9:

17?

00:12:30 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 6:

You can be 17.

00:12:32 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 9:

Isn't that crazy?

00:12:33 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 6:

That is why. In Ohio, it's 21 to poor, 19 to serve, and then 16 to be behind the bar working. 17 to be behind the bar to work. You can be 16 and bar back. Oh, maybe you can. In Ohio. I'm only talking from Ohio experience.

00:12:50 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 9:

How old can you be to strip? That's all we want. Oh, God. What's the stripper? Can you imagine if they allowed 17? It's like, are you kidding? That's crazy. All right. What do those nails look like again?

00:13:02 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 8:

You described them. Nope. Didn't see it. Don't know what's going on. You got to be 18 to strip in Michigan.

00:13:08 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 2:
