Hey, follow us. Instagram, on Facebook, also TikTok. Search Mojo in the Morning, but also Channel 955, which is our Detroit home base station. You can look at all the War of the Roses, including the last War of the Roses that we just busted a cheater with. Kev was doing something yesterday that I loved how you called it. he was doing something that I've seen more so the girls on the show do than I've seen the guys on the show do and that is you went out you bought a new clothing item to do what with it? I test drove it you test drove it

00:02:05 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 6:

so I'm an online shopper I mean I wore it with the tag still on it just to see if I liked it before I committed to it fully I hate people who do that because why am I going to buy something that has your funk all up in it well i mean that's on the company that ain't on me so i'm an online shopper and when i do most of my online shopping obviously i can't like try on the clothes but i think i got a good eye for what could fit my body type and what size i need so i bought a whole bunch of stuff from zara the jacket come in and i try it on and the shoulders aren't right i'm like i kind of like the color i like how i fit it had a cool like double zipper thing where you can like zip it all the way up and then had an extra zipper so you can like have the zippers meet in the middle and do some cool looks like that i'm like bet i'm gonna get this fit off this is a fire jacket but these shoulders i'm not fully committed so i kind of did that thing where i hang it up in the closet i kind of look at it for a couple of days like is this the one maybe try it back on i'm like you know what we can't just figure this out in closed doors We got to do a test drive in the streets. So I kept the tag on and wore it all day yesterday. I wore it to work. I wore it to Buffalo Wild Wings.

00:03:17 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 5:

Had a drink. Wait, wait, wait. You were even wearing it to the Mexican place that we ate at yesterday. I have a photo.

00:03:23 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 6:

I have a photo. I was like a tackle. Little chimichanga in the seams. You're a jerk. Why? I can't be the only one that does this. No, you're not. You've never done this.

00:03:35 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 4:

Shannon Murphy does this all the time. No, that is not true. I have not done this all the time. I am currently in the process of test driving a sweater, long sweater duster, I believe they call it. I am not going to say from which lovely store at 12 o'clock small, but here's my problem with it. It was expensive, and I'm like, okay, I feel like I could wear this with a lot of things, but it was a one-size-fits-all thing. I'm only five feet tall. It consumed me a little bit. I felt like I was drowning in it. The only problem is it's been hanging up in my closet. I only wore it for the show for one day. But now it's on video. It's on video. So if the person who works at the store listens to the show, they've seen it on our Instagram. And I feel like I would be busted.

00:04:22 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 5:

I've never heard it called a test drive. I love that term. I do too. But wait, what is it called? It is called something. In retail, they do have a name for it. Kind of. they do have a name for it which is wild because i know people that do this all the time like they'll actually never buy anything they wear something and then they go take it back which is a lot of effort but i know people that do it with shoes and usually shoes you can't do it with

00:04:45 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

they'll tape the bottoms of their shoes yeah yeah yeah so they're clean yeah i mean truly it it's it's not a cool thing to do i hate when i order from like you know an online plate like revolve for example, and you take something out of the bank.

00:05:00 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

and it's got deodorant and crap all over it and it smells and I'm like, somebody actually wore this to their prom or a wedding and then returned it. See, but that type of stuff, I blame the

00:05:10 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 7:

organization, I blame the company on that, that it shouldn't be available for purchase at that point. If you can see the deodorant stains, if you can see the rocks in the soles of the shoes. Yeah, but they can't lose

00:05:18 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 1:

money off of it. Why? Because you're a thief. No, that's part of the company. Being a company is lost. Losing money. Yeah. Oh, well, that's

00:05:26 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 6:

great. That's great. And that's why we have all these you know places closing down nowadays because we got thieves but don't at that and

00:05:33 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 1:

don't uh give the refund don't issue the refund that's why there's a a five to seven day process

00:05:40 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 6:

and we have to approve the materials before we do that now they actually will do like a you know a time uh on when you can do it real quick i want to uh tell you the funniest thing was we were at that what was the mexican restaurant that we ate at jose tacos jose tacos or joe's i don't know it's right by right by our new it's in it's a husband and wife that own it and they're great people but we're by our new studios yesterday and kevin was across the table we had a huge table of all of us and then kevin's crossing i go hey man you just got uh salsa all over your jacket you should have seen the look on his face no he's like i just bought this jacket uh what's up katie how you doing how are you good uh kev test drove a new jacket yesterday do you ever do this

00:06:23 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 5:

so i was a i'm a photography graduate and so for all of our photo shoots anything for fashion i am guilty of buying things keeping their seats keeping the tags on it and then returning it that

00:06:38 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 6:

week or the following day do they do what stores uh need to like make the tags more apparent don't you think like you know you know how they you know how they'll do that where they'll put the tags like in the on the clothes like on the sleeve yeah and they'll have it in there so you can't on the outside instead of the inside yeah like you can't hide it i'm shocked that they don't do that just

00:07:00 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 5:

for this reasoning yeah that's can i also say first time long time nice to talk to you katie

00:07:08 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 7:

appreciate you thank you you're absolutely right though because if the tag was like under the like the armpit area where you obviously can't hide that the only way that that's coming off is if you take it off this was on the inside make it stick out of the chest they do the armpit a lot more now i've noticed yeah that's a sure way to get somebody to commit what did you think of it

00:07:28 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 6:

of cap's jacket guys did you guys like it yesterday i mean just i'm so silent in here

00:07:33 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 8:

what's going on i thought it was good all right see megan was wearing the exact same uh like material you guys look good together i have a photo that rare denim yeah i'm gonna i think i'm

00:07:44 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 1:

to post that today no we did twin kind of weirdly together yesterday but i i told you afterwards i

00:07:49 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 6:

was like you take that tag off that is a good look yeah i think it was just starchy and it needed to be worn and yeah too high of a collar or something like that it's kind of arm to arms and the arms it made it look like you had shoulder pads look at you like wearing a football uniform what's up kirsten hello hey there

00:08:04 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 4:

hi um we grew up with all going to all of our family pictures with tags still on our shirt so Our parents can return them afterwards. At the family.

00:08:17 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 7:

And Sears with the shirt from Sears.

00:08:18 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 4:

Everybody has to match. I even wanted to keep them for school, and I'm like, oh, Dars. Even mom was like, you guys are going to wreck these clothes.

00:08:27 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 6:

Melissa, what's up?

00:08:29 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 2:

So this happened to me, I think it was like three to four weeks before my wedding. I ordered these shoes from Macy's. They came in. they had someone's footprint printed on the shoe and the black of the like the sole of the shoe was black i was like how could they send this to someone like you put that in the box and said

00:08:49 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 1:

this is good good yeah i was freaking out i was like this is three weeks before my wedding

00:08:55 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 6:

oh that's so stressful yeah kev doesn't care not my foot sarah what's up

00:09:03 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 3:

hi so um we have we tag all around clothing at my job so if i take the tags off i can just take it to work and use our gun and put the tag back on oh you have your own tagging thing that's

00:09:17 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 6:

unbelievable how do you that's professional can you also have the little thing that cuts off the tag that makes the thing beep when i walk out of the store no no i want one of those i'm sure you

00:09:28 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

You can get a tag on it on Amazon.

00:09:31 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh.

00:09:32 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 3:

Retag it.

00:09:33 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. You know what I actually do want? And I know this is completely off topic. I want the folding board that they have at The Gap so I can fold my shirts like they have at The Gap.

00:09:41 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we have a ton of those.

00:09:42 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 6:

Oh, those are the greatest. Hey, thank you for the call. We appreciate you. All right. Take care of yourself. Oh, gosh. Tracy, what was your advice?

00:09:54 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

You can, no matter where they put a tag, if you cut it close enough to the end, You can literally stick this.

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 4:

tag back through the seam, take a lighter, melt the end, kind of curl it into like a ball, let it dry, your tag's back on. She's a pro. You're a professional thief. All the girls in the room just went.

00:10:10 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 2:

This is a crime, Tracy. Tracy. Come again.
