mojo in the morning show so kev from our show kev's girlfriend cherelle was out of town i saw this by the way she was uh speaking had a speaking engagement where was she by the way where'd she end up in baltimore and she was flying to go to this and like a little quick one

like in and out yeah baltimore merlin she went out there and uh spoke on a panel with some other

incredible ladies so cherelle uh tell everybody about why this amazing woman is so amazing aside from the fact that she sticks with you through all the stuff that you say what does she speak

about like what is the subject matter so um so cherelle she put a book out called prisoner's kid and it talks about her journey of having both of her parents incarcerated and everything that went on in her life and she turned her life uh into a testimony in a way to help others and millions of kids you know have parents that are incarcerated you know as you look at the numbers and uh she owns an organization a foundation called pure heart that serves children of incarcerated parents and has mentors and gives them opportunities and scholarships and a lot of cool things so Even drives them to go visit their parents, right? Yeah, to go visit. Yeah, that's awesome. A lot of these kids aren't able to actually, you know, go visit their parents. A mother says, you know, multiple children, how do I take one? It's extremely expensive. You got to drive all day, find a hotel, gas, food, all of that.

Yeah, because the prisons aren't in populated areas, right? They're off in the middle of nowhere. By the way, I learned from Sherelle, and I did not ever know this, but if you have a parent that is incarcerated, you have a greater chance of you being incarcerated. Yeah. And I did not even know this. If you have another parent that's incarcerated, where both are incarcerated, you have another greater chance, right? And you are also a child of a parent that was incarcerated, your dad. You think about this. You think of what Shirelle has done with her life. She has gone and gotten highly educated.

she has started organizations to go and to help those that were in situations that she was in. But then she got together with you.

No, honestly, seriously, the two of you guys together.

This is incredible, though. Yeah, it's cool. It's good to know. She's amazing. So, look, so, yeah, so she had the talk or the panel discussion in Baltimore. First off, lost her luggage. So imagine going and having your outfit prepared and all of that. only to not be able to wear it. So that was the whole thing. And you're pregnant. And you're pregnant. So the beautiful thing about being pregnant that I'm learning from her, as soon as she gets to the car when I go pick her up from the airport, I'm like, babe, you know, how was it? How did it go? And she took a sigh. She said, everything was great. You know, when you're pregnant, people want to do everything for you. I didn't have to pull a bag. I didn't have to wait. But the lady that I sat next to, her daughter, who's a baby, an infant, boo-booed on herself, and she had to change the diaper right next to her on the airplane. Oh, no. Sitting there in the seat, and all you can just see is all of these colors and all of this smell stuff, and you're already pregnant, so things are already smelling crazy for you.

So the person sitting next to her child dutied, and she didn't go to the bathroom on the plane to go get it.

She didn't get up. And Sherelle's like, she's probably tired.

Well, smells also, too, probably start bothering you when you're pregnant, right? Exactly.

She said everybody in the airplane had their nose plugged. Said the air conditioner was on, so it was just blowing everywhere. But it was like the plane ride from there. I've dealt with crying infants before. I've never had anybody like poop next to me. Like that's enough.

Did they change the baby on the tray table?

I didn't ask her. I imagine so. It's like if you go into the bathroom. Or on their lab.

Moms get so good about doing it on their lab. But still. That's a risk. Yeah, that's a risk.

That is wild. So, by the way, they had a study that revealed the most annoying things that passengers do on a plane. And you'd think that screaming kids and crying kids would have been the number one thing. It wasn't. It actually had to do with people taking their shoes off. People find that to be highly awful when they take their shoes off. and smells, smelly foods brought in from the terminal where people buy food in the terminal and they will get, you know, I don't know, Quiznos. For some reason, remember Quiznos?

Yes. Is Quiznos still around?

I don't think so. It was the grilled sub place, right? But some guy brought a Quiznos on one time when I was flying back to go to Chelsea's parents' place in Arizona and all I remember was this guy ate the probably smelliest sandwich I've ever had to sit next to for four hours going back. Oh, it's awful.

The thing that pisses me off the most when you're on airplanes is people, as soon as it lands and that seatbelt goes off, everybody stands up as if you're just going to get off the flight immediately.

Like, you're in 32B, bro, window seat style. You're not going anywhere. Right. Why are you standing?

You know what it is? It's our natural, you know, I guess instinct. Rush, rush, rush. It's our instinct. I do this all the time. I do it at church, I do it at sporting events I mean, hell, I do it here at the radio station When the show's over with, I'm like ready to go Hit the door, you know what I mean? Or if I'm at, say, a Lions game I'm at a Lions game I'm looking at that clock the entire time Going, alright, what are the odds The Lions can actually win this game? Alright, I gotta get to my car Because the whole thing is you want to beat everybody out, right? You don't want to be sitting there waiting

There was a story that I saw on TikTok And maybe you guys saw this too The person on TikTok that was sitting by the guy With the feet that were

Oh he was sitting in front of him

Yes right And he started pouring a can of Coca-Cola On the guy's feet

The guy had nasty Dirty socks on And had stretched his feet So far under the chair That his toesies were poking through The chair in front of him He just poured Coke on him

He was pouring like the drink on top of the guy so that it would be wet and the guy would feel the wetness of that. Actually, it was a woman. So a woman on the plane, this is the TikTok, a woman on the plane behind me kept her smelly feet underneath me. What's the most annoying thing that you ever had to deal with when you were on a flight or a train or a bus, any kind of transportation where you had to sit by somebody that was doing something. There was a guy that was on. We were taking a shuttle bus, and we were going. It was the shuttle bus that takes you to the. airport parking and the guy is on the bus and he is cleaning his teeth out. With a pick? No, with the receipt from, like you know a little card thing that you get your car out of the parking lot with and I'm going I hope that that receipt doesn't work when you put it in there and you have to pay for like a week's worth of, you know, parking. It's like the most disgusting thing ever is he's sticking this thing in his teeth and doing that

the whole time. Do you mind, like I know people when they take flights they just want to go to sleep immediately yeah have you ever been in a situation where you're asleep and then the food cart comes and the person wakes you up and it's like do you want something like are you

okay with being woken up if you get your drinking um i well anytime i won't turn food down i don't

i won't turn sleep like leave me sleeping please please please um no you know what though that does

that does happen from time to time and it has happened where the cart comes by and they offer you the free food and they'll leave it for you and my they don't know that the people i'm sitting next to don't know my family sitting across the aisle from me right and chelsea one time told me that the people sitting next to me ate my food and drank my drink because they left it for me to wake up with and i'm like going god didn't give me anything at all and i was sleeping and

chelsea's like yeah the people what my god so what do you do but you know what uh they needed

it more than i did i needed to sleep more i'm the worst i fall asleep and i always have this fear that i'm going to fall asleep and sleep on somebody's shoulder me too and i do the head
