mojo in the morning the topic that we're going to do right now is what's my neighbor hiding uh because cav had to be nosy to see what his neighbor was hiding in their garage that's not

00:02:22 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 7:

true how did you then spot it so i've been uh this week in particular i think it has something to do with disney i was like walking a lot and i was like you know what we need to lose some weight let's start walking so i've been going to like our little complex gym and when i leave there i take the long walk home so on my journey yesterday i walked past one of my neighbors who had his garage up and I look in the garage and I see this inflatable hot tub and I'm like is that a hot tub didn't know the guy was in the garage he's like yeah oh you said it out loud I thought in your head you're like no this is like a an audible reaction I'm like is that a hot tub like just kind of like you know one of those things didn't see him he's like yes I took You can get them from Amazon. They're like $400. Yeah. I was like, oh. He kept walking because I didn't know he was there. Didn't want to engage in conversation. But he has a hot tub in his garage.

00:03:23 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You can get them at Costco. You know people who have these? I want one. Remember the Soul Spot thing? Yeah. I want one so bad.

00:03:30 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 7:

Let's go in on one. Wait. Keep it at my house when we eat it. Why does he keep it in his garage?

00:03:34 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 5:

Let's go to your house to go hot tub in.

00:03:35 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 6:

Why does he not have a hot tub like on his back patio or deck? Don't you guys have that?

00:03:40 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 7:

No, not in our space.

00:03:41 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 6:

Do you have a place where you can stand or sit or no? Nah.

00:03:45 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 5:

So that's the only place he could have it. That's not weird.

00:03:48 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 6:

So he's got a hot tub just in his garage? In his garage.

00:03:51 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 5:

But it's inflatable. So he can deflate it when he's done.

00:03:57 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

That's an interesting place, though, isn't it?

00:04:00 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 5:

Where is he going to do it? In his kitchen? Exactly.

00:04:01 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 6:

Well, no, I figured that he'd have an outdoor hot tub. When I think of a hot tub, I think of outdoors. I don't think an indoor. A bathtub is an indoor one.

00:04:09 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 7:

But to Shannon's point, it is the only available space that he can have it. I'm not opposed to it. I kind of want one.

00:04:20 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Okay. That's the end of my sentence. All right. So you're nosy enough to look inside your neighbor's garage.

00:04:30 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 7:

It's not like I went snooping. I'm walking around. Yeah, the garage is wide open. You look in.

00:04:36 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 6:

So, okay. Do you do that? if you're walking down the street, do you look up inside their house? Yes. Because looking in their garage is like looking in their windows.

00:04:44 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay, did you see the photo that Wes posted of me earlier this week? We were on a walk, and I saw that somebody in my neighborhood is getting one of those splash pools put in their backyard. You know what those are? They're like pools. They're in-ground pools, but they're just teeny. They're not like the big...

00:05:00 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 4:

pool like they're just small and um and i wanted to see what it looked like but their yard is like has trees lining the side so i just stuck my head right through the bushes and all you saw was my booty he's like no you're not no you're not i'm like i want to see what it looks like

00:05:23 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 3:

i i think that i think it's funny though do you feel like they're hiding it from you like both in both cases do you think that the neighbor should just mean invite the whole neighborhood over to his hot tub or shannon this new splash oh i hope they invite me to their pool but are you that friendly with them like you talk to them i couldn't even tell you their names really so so when when you put in so if you're if you're a neighbor and you have because i i remember that the one time that we invited people over that we didn't really didn't know in our neighborhood was when we had our son's graduation party from high school we invited people over because we knew that we were going to have a lot of people in the neighborhood, you know, probably upset about the amount of cars and stuff that were going to be there. So we figured we'll invite them over and make them less upset over the deal. But if you put a pool in or do any kind of construction things to your house, do you feel like you should let the neighbors all come over to enjoy it?

00:06:17 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 2:

No. No.

00:06:18 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

No?

00:06:18 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 2:

If they didn't pay for it, then you don't get to enjoy it for free. No.

00:06:22 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 3:

No? And you also cannot ask. Because you're bad neighbors. Do you know the Cannon guy in my neighborhood? Remember the guy who told you that shoots off a cannon? The cannon guy had a party at his house. Unfortunately, we were not able to make it because we had something that night. But he had everybody over to invite him over after he had done a bunch of construction to his house.

00:06:42 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 2:

That's because he doesn't want you to call the police or something like that.

00:06:45 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 3:

On his cannon?

00:06:46 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

It's like you throwing a banger in your neighborhood and you don't want a noise complaint. So you invite everybody.

00:06:53 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

I always think that the Chaldean neighbors that light off the fireworks during, you know, it seems like all summer long, they should invite you over for their fireworks display because they're keeping you up all night with these damn fireworks on Friday, Saturday nights. What's going on, Jamie? How you doing?

00:07:11 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 1:

I'm good. And you guys?

00:07:12 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic, Jamie. What's up?

00:07:14 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So I just recently moved in with my boyfriend and his two kids. I mean, it's been about a year and a half now, but whatever. and i never seen the neighbors so i would think you know maybe the husband killed his wife and kids and you know id channels and you know i walk around the neighborhood and i tell my daughter go make friends with those kids because they got a pool in their garage and i think that's cool so

00:07:39 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

i want to join in too really okay so so do you tell you tell your kids specifically to go make friends with them so that you guys can be invited over yes because you know you got to meet the

00:07:50 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

parents if the kids want to go inside the house and you know stuff like that yeah can i can i ask

00:07:57 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 3:

a question why are they putting a pool in the garage again why is that um it's hoh policy oh so wait so you but but can't you get in trouble for having it in your garage

00:08:08 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

um i i don't think so because it's not you're gonna flood that garage but that's your house not their land, I guess. I don't know. It's stupid. I think it's dumb. There's just a flaw, but whatever.

00:08:23 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

I guess if you don't want to get sun, that's one place to put it is in your garage. But then you have no place to put your cars.

00:08:30 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 1:

Right, but I mean, we have good driveways out here. I think you can probably fit two cars comfortably

00:08:37 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

in the driveway. I've often thought that that would be a great bet is to do it for the summertime where we have just random people walk door to door and say, can I take a dip in your pool and just see what people do, like randomly.

00:08:50 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 1:

I would be that person to just knock on someone's door.

00:08:54 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, would this be rude? What if you had a grill on your back patio? Maybe for you, Jamie, too. If you have a grill on your back patio and a neighbor's grill, the propane goes out. Is it rude to go over to your neighbor's house and use their grill if they're not home? Yes.

00:09:13 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Unless you're really cool with them like that.

00:09:17 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 3:

So you have to be friendly with them in order to do that. Otherwise, you're illegally using their grill, you're saying.

00:09:25 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You've had to grill together at a certain point. When I say grill together, I've had to invite you over for some of my meat. Or vice versa. This can't be your first interaction with my grill. It's me not even there.

00:09:41 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 3:

But what if it's an emergency? emergency what if it's an emergency and i half grilled my steaks that's on you she wanted to

00:09:49 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 1:

have a piece of my meat you're just gonna have to share facts pan siri y'all are mean but i think

00:09:54 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

that would like i would have no problem if my neighbors needed just a little bit of a grill i'd let them go use my

00:10:00 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 7:

mine, even if I don't talk to them that much. I would feel neighborly. If I came home and I was surprised to see them back there, but if they tried to knock on the door and I wasn't home, I don't care if they used my propane.

00:10:11 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 6:

That's exactly what happened. This is what would happen. Your neighbor would fry up their grill. Boom, propane gone. You're, you know, wherever you are, you're not there. They come over, they use their grill. When they come and tell you, you'll be like, okay. And then you would go in the house and you would talk crazy. That's a free invitation. People are like, eh, eh, eh, okay.

00:10:32 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 8:

I sound like that? He's like, eh, eh, eh, okay.

00:10:40 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh. What's going on, Lisa? How are you?

00:10:44 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 8:

Good. How are you guys?

00:10:45 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 7:

We're doing good. Kevin's trying to do an imitation of me right now. Say hello to, by the way, Mojo, say hello to Lisa.

00:10:54 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 8:

All I got is the okay.

00:10:56 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 7:

What's happening?

00:10:58 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 8:

Hey, I just wanted to say, I have my hot tub in my garage as well for privacy, and then in the winter, I don't get snowed on. I've got a mojo greeting.

00:11:09 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

00:11:09 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 8:

It would be, hey, buddy. No, if it's Lisa, I would be like, hey, Liza. It would just be totally the wrong damn name. It would be, hey, Barbara.

00:11:23 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 7:

Lisa, if I used your grill and didn't ask you for permission because my propane ran out, would you be upset with me?

00:11:34 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 8:

Only if you didn't leave a steak for me.

00:11:38 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 7:

Yes. I'd let you have a bite of my meat. You'd have no problem with that.

00:11:42 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 8:

I thought you were going there, my dog.

00:11:43 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 7:

I was dumb. I went for the easy joke on that one.

00:11:46 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 8:

You're not surprised that he went for the meat joke?

00:11:49 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

00:11:53 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 1:
