What do the kids do, Shannon, when they have a snow day like today? What are Lucy and Smith going to be up to?

So this is Andrew's week to have them. And since he's at work, so Nama, his mom is hanging with them. They are so excited to have a snow day, though. So they'll probably just stay in their pajamas all day. And they're, like, obsessed with Legos. They got so many Legos for Christmas. So they're building like Lego cities right now.

It's funny because my mom used to love snow days more than we love snow days. And I don't know if you feel like this as a mom or if you feel like you want to just go home and, you know, get a nap in or something like that because it's working. But my mom was the person who would put the spoon under her pillow because she wanted us to be home. It's funny how much she would love snow days And she was the one that would jump in the car And take us to the toboggan, you know Sledding slope at the church by our house And she'd sit in the car and smoke cigarettes the whole time I wonder how much that just changed now

that especially these you know it's like that's why gas grill our gas stoves need to be banned

well i had that reason right there electric stove oh before you know before now i have a gas stove

I was going to say, how do you light, you can't light yourself on fire with an electric stove. You can melt things, you forget, you put things on it, you forget it's still hot.

When the kids are home and stuff like that, for snow days, if you have them, would you cook for them? Because me, I always remember my mom also making mac and cheese.

Well, my kids are still, they eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, but in terms of a quote-unquote main thing, I don't really need to, they eat mac and cheese. They think that it is gourmet when it is from the microwave. So it's mac and cheese, or they like pasta or chicken fingers that I heat up in the microwave. Or they'll have like a peanut butter Nutella sandwich. Pizza rolls. That's about it.

Snow day foods. They do not eat a lot. Snow day foods for me were pizza rolls. If my parents would get, what was the brand of chicken? It was like the frozen chicken, was it? It started with an H. Why am I brain farting on it?

best ramen noodles so i love in my house meg will do the grocery shopping on her way home from picking up her son from school so he always gets to he always sees stuff so he'll pick out oh my gosh i want this i want that so they always come home with cool kids foods and mojo was talking about how amazing my dinner looked last night on Instagram because Meg's an amazing cook. Every night it looks great. Yeah, but sometimes they'll come home like yesterday he came home with this TV dinner for kids with the brownie in the middle. Oh, it's the best. Oh my God, and she was making this amazing meal and I was like, oh, I kind of want that TV dinner. I know. And they're so nostalgic. Yeah.

My other thing to reminisce about with Snow Days, Jerry, was you always knew where everybody in the neighborhood was because their boots were at the front Entrance of the person's house That was the cool mom And the cool mom Would always be the mom who would make Hot chocolate for the kids Like if she was willing to put hot chocolate on For you and we used to have a mom Down the street from us That Mrs. Krasnowski Who would make like Hot chocolate not from the packets Like the powdered stuff or anything like that She would make it fresh with chocolate Like chocolate box And milk and everything

So for about six years. and I actually get laid off in the winter for once Christmas break starts and then through January and then halfway through February. So it's literally the worst thing ever when they get a snow day because it's literally the only time that I have throughout the year to get anything done or just do anything that I want when they're at school.

So Erie, Huron, Putnam, Seneca, Wood, and Wyandotte are all on a level one. And the rest of Northwest Ohio still isn't under anything. I think the snow was coming a lot later than any of us anticipated. It just started falling pretty heavy right now. and it was i thought it was supposed to start at like 6 a.m this morning so i think we're a little

bit later than we my app got changed i used to use dark sky all the time and dark sky got bought out by apple so that it's now the apple app yeah and i swear to you i got rid of it i look at it too well yeah they got rid at the first of the year now they changed it basically over i don't think

these apps are as good as they used to be well the apps using all the same models and information that the tv stations have but it's just you can't predict this stuff more than a few hours in advance they could pretend they know two days out but they're lying looking at let's let's see here

this because to me i mean i was raised this way but it totally makes sense so level one is like the lowest level it's issued when the roads are hazardous maybe the snow is blowing or drifting but under a level one um it really just means roads are icy use caution right

Level two is a little bit more severe. It's issued when the roads become hazardous enough that you should only drive if necessary. I also believe if it's a level two and you get in an accident, you don't call for police unless there's injuries. Just exchange information. When a level two is issued, reach out to your employer. See if you should report to work. Otherwise, stay home. Level three is what's very serious around here. And you can actually get pulled over, get a ticket or even get arrested. So you don't go out on the roads unless there's an emergency or it's necessary. Yeah, so you will get pulled over.

Here's what it says. It says the weather app says that in 40 minutes from now, which we got to get off the air fast then and get out of here. We're going to all use that as our excuse.
