I have a question to ask, okay? And this is a question that's going to require honesty. And I don't know if we'll get calls on this, but this would be interesting. We're going to call this Under the Mistletoe. I saw this stat as I was preparing for trending news today. One in six people have admitted to kissing a co-worker at the company Christmas party. One of the biggest times that people will actually make out with a co-worker is usually when the most alcohol is usually served, and that is at company Christmas parties. Has anybody ever, anyone listening to who, ever made out with a coworker at your company Christmas party only to realize, holy crap, I think that just happened? Has that ever happened? First off, have any of you guys ever made out with or kissed a coworker?

00:02:10 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:02:10 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 5:

You have?

00:02:11 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 6:

Way more than that.

00:02:12 - 00:02:12 | Speaker 5:

You have?

00:02:13 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 6:

I've had a baby with a coworker.

00:02:15 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? Josiah's mom was a coworker?

00:02:18 - 00:02:19 | Speaker 6:

She worked across the hall.

00:02:19 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 5:

I didn't realize that. I didn't know that. And when did you guys hook up? You guys didn't hook up around Christmas time, did you? Nah. That wasn't the first time? No, nah. Did any of you guys have that happen to you at a company Christmas party?

00:02:29 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 3:

Not at a Christmas party. I was going to say, I don't think it was at a Christmas party. But I'm laughing because I remember where there was a former member of this radio show who got drunk and made out with our boss at the time at the company Christmas party. Yes. You know who I'm talking about. I'll refrain from saying both names. But everybody just looked over and that was happening. and we were like, what the heck is going on?

00:02:49 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 5:

And it was the big, big boss. It wasn't like the little boss. It was a big boss. And it was crazy. And actually, one of the funniest parts of that whole thing was, I actually think that they were kind of a cute couple. And I thought to myself, they should date. And if they dated, this guy would have probably gotten himself a better job out of the deal.

00:03:06 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh.

00:03:07 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 5:

You know? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or text 95500. I hear about these company holiday parties and how it leads to a lot of craziness and drinking and stuff. And then I hear these stories all the time about people that are having these company Christmas parties. And my brother used to work for a law firm that, and it finally got stopped because I think the wives got tired of it. They used to do an overnight stay holiday party that wives were not invited to.

00:03:35 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 3:

I think any holiday party that spouses aren't invited to is really shady.

00:03:39 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 5:

Unless it's at your work during the day, like it's during work hours.

00:03:43 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 3:

Like our potluck thing that we have, of course. Right. But if it's like at a place or whatever and they say no spouses allowed, to me, that gives me a pit in my stomach. Yeah.

00:03:53 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 5:

That's not cool. No spouses allowed means the guy who planned that party is banging somebody in the office and wants to be able to fully enjoy himself.

00:04:02 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 6:

Man, I always talk about how crazy these Quicken parties are. And I remember one year. And tell me if this isn't suggestive. You walk into, it was at Huntington now, but Cobo Hall. You walk into Cobo Hall, there are about 30 floating beds hanging from the ceiling. What? I swear to God. Like actual bed beds? Like actually beds that you could sit on and like they could swing. No. Literal beds. Could you get up on the bed? Yes. You could lay up. Like instead of having chairs. Is that how you had Josiah? No, no, no. He was probably one at the time. He was already walking. Just take a chair. Yeah, yeah. So literally floating beds instead of chairs and couches for people to sit on.

00:04:44 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 3:

Was there a theme? Because I know there's a theme every year to their parties.

00:04:46 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 6:

I mean, you can tell what that theme was. Other than that, that was a wild one.

00:04:52 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

Texture here says, I ain't calling because I still work there. But my coworker and I started making out last year at the house.

00:05:00 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 6:

party and we've had to keep our relationship quiet uh another one here 616 says made out with a co-worker at a christmas party led to my firing the next day wow uh jay what's going on it's mojo in the morning how are you very good and yourself good you didn't kiss a co-worker who did you kiss

00:05:18 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 2:

at the company christmas party well let's just say there was some alcohol involved a lot um and I found out the following Monday when my boss sat me down in his office, he awkwardly, uncomfortably let me know that if I ever touched his daughter again, that it would be the last day I ever worked there. Oh, my God. No, I did not know that this was his daughter. I had never met her. I did not know, but let me just tell you, I stayed working there for years after that and never spoke to his daughters again. Oh, my God. So I thought you might. That was uncomfortable. By the way, I think bringing

00:05:54 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 6:

your daughter to the party with a bunch of dudes hanging out there is probably not a great idea for that boss.

00:06:00 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, in other words, there was a lot of other family. People were bringing their sisters and their spouses. It was a family functioned party. But by no means, I had no idea. And we were in an office and it just happened. And another co-worker saw it and then the boss found out. Yeah.

00:06:20 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 6:

So Monday morning was essentially uncomfortable. I betcha, yeah. Thank you for the call. I got a voice disguise, this one. Initial L, are you there?

00:06:28 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 2:

Hi, yes, I am.

00:06:29 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 6:

All right, the stat again that I just read, and this is for anybody that's got a holiday party coming up, one in six people have admitted to kissing a coworker at the company holiday party. What happened?

00:06:41 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 1:

So my wife of five years actually cheated on me at her Christmas party with her boss.

00:06:48 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Wow. So how did you find out about that? uh i went through her phone oh man was her boss male or female female and she was married to a man oh my god that is craziness are they still together uh she hung up the phone oh she hung up wait a second is this kev's who is this jasmine no no no no okay because he talks about he talks about jasmine josiah's mom and he talks about uh uh quicken loans and how they met there but you

00:07:27 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 1:

were actually at the quicken loans party with the beds remember that yes i was yeah i remember it i have a picture sitting on one and i remember when we walked in i was like this is strange i mean it's kind of cool but it's really weird and i think that was one where they had like the um What are those called, like the aerial ladies that, like, hang from the silk artist?

00:07:49 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:07:50 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:07:50 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 6:

Okay. All right. That's interesting. Shout out to Quicken Loans, man. I don't be making this stuff up. Oh, that's amazing. No. Thanks, Jasmine. I appreciate you. Thank you. Jake, I like this one. We were talking about making out with a coworker. Jake, you did not make out with a coworker, but what happened?

00:08:07 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

No, sir. What's up, Mojo? I just want to say first time, long time. Hey! Say it again, Kevin. I love it. Days on the phone. Yeah, yeah. So at an old work, I worked for a factory. We had a Christmas party at a banquet hall and stuff. You know, an open bar. Everybody was wasted. And, you know, we were on the dance floor dancing. And the older janitor lady was out there dancing. And the song Smack That's playing. And she kind of just turned and looked at me. And she was like, smack that and fetch over for me. No. Looked around all confused for a minute. but I was drunken up and cocked back and smacked her. I was like, oh, company right in front of the dance floor.

00:08:48 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Could you imagine Gina the cleaning lady? Yes.

00:08:52 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 6:

I love you, Gina. Oh, that's great, Jake. This is the best texter of them all, and I don't know if we could even put this on the radio, but at our company, Christmas Party, somebody stuck their D on the ice sculpture. Ew. Did it get stuck? It would get stuck. What's that one movie y'all like? He's got his tag on the ball. For V-Lory. Jones, what happened at your company Christmas party?

00:09:16 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 4:

I messed around. I had sex with a coworker afterwards. I had to walk her back to her car because she was a little drunk.

00:09:22 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 6:

Wait, what was it like the next day that you guys came into work? Was it weird? Was it awkward?

00:09:29 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 4:

It was kind of weird. We just looked at each other. We didn't say anything, but nobody found out. Her mom worked there, too, so it was weird.

00:09:36 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Buddy, you are incredible. That's incredible. That's unbelievable.

00:09:41 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 5:

All right. Well, behave yourself. Appreciate you so much.

00:10:00 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 1:
