Yes. At our nephew Daniel's Shrek the musical performance. And so we went, and we went to the matinee on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. And did we have a good time? I'm going to tell you, it was so much fun. I was told by Chelsea You cannot say anything bad about it Because these kids were our kids at one time Isn't it funny when you have kids in the musical You walk out of there going Those kids were unbelievable Weren't they? And you know all the kids They're friends of your kids and stuff like that When you don't know anybody at all You're sitting in that audience like Simon Cowell

Well that's a parent foul Like you're not supposed to invite Extended friends and family because we all get tortured with our own kids' events, you don't have to subject other people to that.

Oh, because I had two girls that were in dance, they were in music, they were in theater, they were in band, they were in everything. So the only person that would ever get a standing invite to those events was Grandma. Because everybody else, Grandma loves going to all those things. Everyone else, you don't want to torture neighbors and cousins and uncles.

Well, the problem, though, is that Daniel loves Chelsea. And honestly, he could care less probably for me. And I would have looked like a bad guy if I didn't go, if I didn't attend with. So it was basically for Chelsea. Chelsea loved it. She had such a great time. She sat there all excited about the whole thing. And it was fun. I ate food from the concession stand.

I went to the Shrek musical too. And same thing, my kid wasn't in this. Really? Oh, yeah, yeah.

What was your reasoning for being there?

Cecily saw, they went into Cecily's school and they did a performance or whatever to get everybody to come. So he's like, oh, I want to go. I want to go. So we're like, okay, let's go. So we went to the thing, and you're absolutely right. When you get there, you're like, these kids are good, but they're not my kids. And then we get there, so we show up, and there's people sitting in our seats. And it's like grandma and aunts, but there's no ushers at a Shrek show. So you walk in, and you're like, hey, you're in my seats. And they're like, no, we're not. You're kidding me, right? Wait, did you actually try to kick grandma out of the seats? I had to, because that was our seats.

Did you show them that you, like you do, like if you go to a Tigers game and somebody's sitting in your seats? Yeah. Do you show them your tickets?

Like, uh-uh. Yeah. So they wouldn't, and there's no ushers to like clarify. Right. So they wouldn't show us their seats. They're like, no, this is our seats. I'm like, no, this is our seats. And so I showed them our ticket, and they're like, no, no, no, we're not getting up.

What if their kids were like the lead in the show, and you didn't even have a kid in the show?

So where did you sit?

Because the show I went to was sold out. We sat like right in the middle. We got seats early.

Oh, you got, okay. So you guys got, so you took somebody else's seats?

Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. Absolutely.

By the way, KP, when I came in this morning, says to me, she goes, Hey can you smell anything on me And I said no And she goes I think I smell like the big show last night

a very very busy day yeah yeah so i can't wait for you to complain about everything and i won't It's so much fun. I don't complain.

Saturday night, me and my family went to bingo at our local YMCA. You topped it. Wow. Really? I think, yeah, I think me and my sister-in-law were probably about the youngest people there by about 40 years.

Not this week. We also won last weekend, and my wife and mother-in-law won, but we didn't win anything this weekend.

Years ago, I went to our church's, our parish's bingo that they had, a bingo night. Everybody goes crazy and basically the priests turn you over and start shaking the cash out of your pockets and nobody cares because they're all drunk. I don't understand why they don't serve drinks at these school events. It would be honestly the greatest thing ever. Even honestly, if you just said, all right, it's well wine and draft. I still remember grade school, going to Catholic school, and every event was alcohol-themed. Everything surrounded itself with alcohol. And I remember even the Christmas charity, they would auction off. They would have a raffle to auction off bottles of booze. And I'm thinking, even in the third grade, I was so aware of my dad looking for the...
