All right, it's Mojo in the morning. I got a phone call from Luke yesterday. For those that did not get a chance to see or hear, I've been talking about the last couple days and then I'm done with it.

00:01:55 - 00:01:57 | Speaker 2:

No, we need updates until it's gone.

00:01:58 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 6:

It's going to be a while. I talked to the doc yesterday, and the doc said that it's probably going to be a couple-month thing. That's insane. So I fell down the stairs at a bar in East Lansing for Dad's weekend with my son Luke. I drank way too much, and I fell down the stairs. Well, Luke called me yesterday to say, Dad, you have officially reached legend status on michigan state's campus he said they still talk about you doing the keg stand out in front of that fraternity house that's across from crunchies and he said that now it's gotten to a point where they're now saying and he then fell down the stairs at harper's is there like a michigan state checklist of things you need to do i feel honestly can i tell you something i feel like I'm a raging alcoholic or something like that. And I was sober, by the way, for the keg stand. I just want you to know that. I was not sober for this one. I want to see it. You want to see it?

00:03:00 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 2:

Prepare yourself. It's so bad. Oh my God. Are you darker than me?

00:03:06 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 5:

It's bigger. It's bigger.

00:03:07 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 6:

You cannot say a-hole on the radio. You are extremely bruised, sir. I am. It hurts. I can't wear jeans because jeans are too tight. Jeans are too tight around your waist.

00:03:22 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 1:

No, for real. My jeans are too tight today, so I'm jealous.

00:03:26 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 6:

Does it hurt to even sit right now? It does hurt, yeah. I'd like to stand.

00:03:30 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 2:

Wait, you breathe.

00:03:32 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 6:

I'm exhausted. Yeah.

00:03:34 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 2:

Like you reminded him.

00:03:35 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. I can't even laugh anymore at it. It's so bad. Do you have a cream?

00:03:41 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm, well. What did you say to me?

00:03:44 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 3:

Arnica. Arnica. And bromelain.

00:03:48 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 6:

Right now, the biggest thing that they want is they want to, there's a hematoma or whatever the heck it is. I forget what it is called.

00:03:55 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 4:

Hematoma.

00:03:56 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 6:

The hematoma. So they don't want, they want to make sure that the skin doesn't have any issues. It's moving. You know, it's a pretty big, they said it's size, it's 13 inches.

00:04:07 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 3:

They measured it?

00:04:08 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 6:

They measured it. Yeah.

00:04:09 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 3:

It's like a shoe size.

00:04:11 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 6:

That's big.

00:04:11 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 3:

Do you have to give an ultrasound on it?

00:04:13 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 6:

I did. I had to do an ultrasound. The lady said it was bigger than the last baby that she had inside there.

00:04:18 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 3:

You had a 99 percentile.

00:04:19 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 6:

Do you know how embarrassing it was when I walked in there and she saw it and she goes, oh, my God. It was like, that was so embarrassing.

00:04:30 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 2:

When a medical professional gets shocked, I get scared.

00:04:33 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Like she was a little shocked by it. But I, so here's what I want to ask this question. And I know we talked about drunk stories the other day, so they don't have to be drunk stories. what dumb thing did you do or what thing did you do doesn't have to be dumb thing that has now officially gotten you legendary status like now people all know you maybe he gave you your nickname maybe i should be you know uh fall fall down the stairs most

00:05:00 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 4:

or something like that but um and and i'd love to know i'd love to know what it was that you did and what's the legendary status that you just achieved by doing that because i think i'm going to take over that job yeah of calves and host the michigan state basketball they're gonna be like this guy fell down the stairs at harper's maybe they'll give you one of those flags hanging at the breslin center you know give them a donut to sit on do you think that do you wait do you think that they'll retire my number in aries will they retire and do and do that for me 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 what's up morgan how you doing i'm good how are you good you have legendary status

00:05:40 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 2:

morgan um i did for a little while i accidentally slipped and caught myself while i was running at work and really messed up my ankle and i got the only desk job available for like a year oh they

00:05:57 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 4:

gave you the only you know maybe this company needs to give me something for this what do you want maybe i need maybe i need a special i want one of those chair or one of those rolling like carts that you see in the front of walmart that you see just fat people in yeah i want one of those i want to be able to have that to get to and from my parking spot in eastern market here

00:06:18 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 2:

morgan that would be a great start making your demands mojo thank you appreciate that by the

00:06:23 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 4:

way thanks to a 517 who says mojo who hasn't fallen down the steps at harper's i'm not lying

00:06:28 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 1:

to you i don't know how my sister said the same my sister and brother-in-law are both spartans and they as soon as i told them what had happened my brother-in-law was like oh yeah everybody

00:06:37 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 4:

falls down those tell them tell them that it was nuts i first of all i i will admit i did not feel my feet that night that's how bad things were with with me but i had my hokas on and i and they have grip but they did not grip that stare what what's up rich how you doing hey good mojo how you doing good what gave you legendary status

00:07:00 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 3:

so i uh for the last 10 years i was living out in phoenix and um the sons were you know it's the year they went to the nba finals in 2021 yeah and i was at the bar and the news reporter came up and just did a random interview wasn't expecting it so we do do an interview and i don't know what got into me but my analogy of if the suns would have won the finals because they went to the finals like that that night um was pretty much i said that uh if the suns went to the finals you know the valley would be like a pot of boiling water and the lid would you know explode anyways it was kind of ridiculous um so i made it on the news no big deal but then i get a phone call like the next day and I said, dude, you're on Jimmy Kimmel.

00:07:44 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Jimmy Kimmel. Oh, God.

00:07:48 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I wasn't even watching, but I look, and next thing you know, I'm on Jimmy Kimmel, and it's Anthony Anderson is doing his monologue, and he's like, it's hard to explain the excitement of your team being in the NBA Finals, but this Phoenix fan really slams at home and airs the clip of me, and then he gives me the nickname of Mr. Potato Head.

00:08:07 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh, that's great, though.

00:08:10 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome. Angela, what's going on? How are you?

00:08:13 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Good. How are you guys?

00:08:15 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

Good. We're doing great. What's happening?

00:08:18 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if mine's so legendary, but my friends still to this day, after about 20 years, call me Rump Roast.

00:08:25 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wait.

00:08:26 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, sorry. Well, I do have a little bit of a bigger booty.

00:08:31 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:08:31 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 5:

So we'll start with that. So far, so good. But we would go, well, we still do. we'll take a canoe trip up the up north on the river each year we'll rent rafts and canoes i tipped over two canoes trying to get in and out of one several different times and uh we saved all the liquor it was good but to this day i'm still rump roast in like three people

00:08:56 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 4:

i i by the way hate getting into like canoes because you there's no graceful way to get into a canoe without falling out over or those stand-up boards that they have paddle boards on lakes i i can't stand on the thing everybody's standing up on the thing and going across cast lake and there i am like a little kid on a rowboat what's up sarah hey so i am legendary legendary

00:09:24 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 6:

status on a couple different schools um my oldest my oldest um who graduated in 21 um when it was his junior year in high school they were on a band trip to Tennessee and while they were stopping in uh Dollywood we were uh running back to get to the bus and I tried to be cool and jump the curb and i ended up supermating and breaking my wrist and so for the whole ride back from tennessee i was riding a bus with a broken

00:10:00 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 2:

wrist for 14 hours, it seemed like, and things like that, so everybody, I still hear stories to this day, and he's like, hey, remember that mom that broke her wrist at Hollywood, and I was like, yeah, that's me, and everything like that, and then just recently, my senior now in high school, he's at St. Mary's, they were trying to do a food run, but no other parent would call their kid out to grab the food except for me so ever i get a text from all of the kids saying ma you're the best because i called my kid out to grab the food for the food run

00:10:41 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 5:

you know what though mom you need to send your kid to east lansing so that we can party together

00:10:47 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 2:

okay for sure well he's going to owe you right now he's been accepted to oakland university so

00:10:53 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 5:

that's awesome congratulations to them yes i was gonna i was gonna say i'll buy him his first beer uh legal of course at harper's because i'm gonna own that son of a bitch you need a drink named

00:11:05 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 4:

after you at the very least they don't make a drink called shot something the tumbler the tumbler

00:11:10 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 3:

what's up brandy hi mojo hi what's going on i haven't i haven't reached legendary status but Before you drop the topic of your incident, I just wondered what kind of, you know, how hard of a time did Chelsea give you with all this?

00:11:30 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 5:

I'll be honest with you. I think she's just tolerating me right now. Like, I think it's now gotten to a point where I think that she is. She does. Chelsea is very compassionate. When I went through my heart surgery, nobody nursed me better than Chelsea. Like, that's when I realized, man, I got the one. But I'm telling you, I think she's a little over it right now. Like, I think she's now at a point where she's like, enough already.

00:11:52 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but to be honest, have you seen his bruise? Have you seen the video on our socials at Mojo in the Morn?

00:11:59 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 3:

I absolutely did, and it is horrible. Horrible. I have heard crickets about Chelsea, so I was pretty sure she probably gave you an earful.

00:12:08 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 5:

Call Chelsea, Lydia.

00:12:10 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 1:

After your eventful weekend. Because I think this is one of those things when you hear, oh, he fell down his stairs like, oh, what an idiot. And then when you see it, immediately you can't mock him. You feel bad.

00:12:18 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 5:

it was it hurt but I think that I think that Chelsea's at a point now where you know how you do this with your kids when your kid falls you gotta go suck it up a little bit you know what I mean like you gotta tell the kid alright dust it off rub some dirt on it and stuff

00:12:35 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 3:

I think I would be like rolling around in the bed a little bit I would like torture you just a little bit hold on she's on right now

00:12:45 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea hi

00:12:47 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

00:12:48 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 5:

Brandy has a question for you. Go ahead, Brandy.

00:12:52 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 3:

Kelsey, I just wondered, we've heard crickets about how you reacted or how your thoughts on Mojo's incident with his back, his fall.

00:13:02 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, I feel very bad for him. It looks like it hurts a lot. But we should not drink and miss step. And by the way, I gave birth three times and had a fourth degree apesiotomy. So I'm not feeling that.

00:13:26 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 5:

I did say this, Chelsea. I said, Chelsea, you were amazing when I had my heart surgery, but that was something that happened upon me. You have no compassion, I don't think, for my back right now, do you?

00:13:37 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 4:

I do. I have a lot of compassion for you. I feel sorry for you, but every five minutes, it's like, oh, God, I think it's getting better, bigger. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Look at it. Oh, my God. And I am trying to be very compassionate about it.

00:13:50 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 5:

Dr. Warner came over to the house to make a house call to me yesterday.

00:13:54 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he did?

00:13:55 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 5:

And he came over and Chelsea's like... Of course he did. Chelsea's like, my doctor is here to see your back. He's a vagina doctor seeing your back.

00:14:07 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, he did come over to take a splinter out of your finger, too. No, he did not. Are you kidding me? No, he did not. But Chelsea, when these things happen, you need to text us and get photo proof. Be honest. How bad was it? I came home. I came home and to him, like, you know, ow, ow, ow, ow. And he was getting a splinter. Oh, my God.

00:14:31 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 5:

He's a great friend. Mark Horner is the greatest human being.

00:14:36 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea.

00:14:37 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea.

00:14:39 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 4:

That's what I deal with. Chelsea.

00:14:40 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 5:

Love you. Come on, Mojo. You're used to wood in your hands. You should have been. Chelsea, you understand? By the way, Chelsea, I am a legend in East Lansing. Just know that, okay? They're going to be putting a sign down for me, okay? Welcome to East Lansing. Home of the fall. All right. Home of the fall. Home of the fall.

00:15:00 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 6:

We'll talk to you later.
