And I click on their account and it's just somebody's mom. And it's like, are you really paying $15 a month to be verified on Instagram? Like, I don't get it. So you can do that on Instagram? I thought it was Twitter. It just rolled out. So on Instagram, if Instagram detects, which I feel like they're shooting this out to everybody, that you are an account that could be quote unquote verified you can pay $15 to have the little blue check and in my opinion it makes that check Why do you think not have any value. they send it to you though? Agreed.

But don't they send that to you if you have a good amount of activity not just random people are getting it.

So you have to apply for the blue check and the reason I'm so worked up about this is because our show that is a historic show it took years to get verified. It took email chains it took me talking with people and saying hey this We actually have a reputable morning show. Well, I don't know about that. I don't know about reputable, but you had me at reputable. Anyway, and now they just roll out this feature, and it's like, well, that kind of devalues the whole point of being a checkmark, because now any person can just have a checkmark.

So you believe that they should go back to the process of verification should be done not by paying for it, and anybody can get it. that you have to prove that there should be because the verification you said should be for the official person. But what if Donna Pancake is officially the only Donna Pancake? What if she's the only one? Everybody should. I feel like it's inclusive.
