Because some of your friends and the crazy dating stories that they have are pretty funny. So tell your story about your friend and the person's most interesting location where he lives.

Okay, so I want to hear your stories, by the way, of the first time you stepped foot into the home of the person that you went on a few dates with or are dating. and like did you see something strange or whatever because this is exactly what happened to a friend of mine um met a guy in a dating app and they had gone out one time and then the second time they went out which was last week he asked something had happened to his car I don't even know what the story was but he said I know this sounds silly but can you pick me up and she was like yeah no problem that's totally fine so he gave her his address and when she showed up she discovered that he she knew he lived in an apartment she just didn't know where like she knew the city whatever but specifically she pulled up and he lived in an apartment on top of a funeral home wow and she had he wasn't the funeral director his family has nothing to do like he's not that's on his family and he just happens to live on top of the funeral home this is totally separate he just happens to rent the apartment on top of the funeral home it's like the tv show six feet under

i've never seen it it's great it was the get with the guy from dexter that's wild isn't that crazy yeah she's like well i'm never staying the night there so when she puts it in her google maps and she puts the address down in the google maps it pulls up in front of the funeral home what does

That's what I asked her, and she said, I just thought that that was, you know, it was next door or something. She had no idea. She wasn't even following because she put it into her nav in her car until she rolled up, and she was like, wait a second. This cannot be right.

That would be kind of, like, eerie. Has she continued to date him?

Well, this was last week. This was last week? I mean, she really likes him.

Would she ever feel weird about spending the night at his house?

She said she's never spending the night there.

So if she ever got into a relationship with him, he would probably have to move if they were going to continue

a relationship. I don't know. But the crazy part is, this is the second friend of mine who has had this happen. My girlfriend, Ashley, when I was in college, was going home for holiday break to visit her boyfriend, Drew, and his family operated a funeral home. Really? And so she stayed in the funeral home for Christmas break with him. Oh my gosh. Yeah.

Something sexy about the funeral. That was a family business. By the way, are there any Is there any funeral homes that are looking for renters? Reese, I know you've got a new apartment, but would you love to live above a funeral home? Wouldn't that be kind of fun?

If they put that in an Airbnb, do they have to disclose, by the way, you're upstairs? I would think. You might have to be silent at certain times if there's a service.

No, that was his joke. That was his joke. So when they went out last week, he was like, hey, if you want to do something this weekend, we can hang out on Saturday, but we have to be especially quiet from 2 to 6 p.m.

And I'm like, oh, my God.

But think about that at night. You would never have to worry about, you know, throwing loud parties or anything like that. Because who are you going to wake up if there's a... I know. Although... I couldn't do it either. Brianna, what's up?

Hi. I was calling because I actually used to live above a funeral home. And my mom is currently still living there.

Really? Were you guys the funeral directors? Like, was dad the funeral director?

No, my mom just, she worked there for a long time, and then we had to move out of our house, and they had an apartment, so we moved in there.

Tell me, what is it like above a funeral home? Can you smell the embalming fluid from below?

Thankfully, no. It was a little creepy in the very beginning. You get used to it. I mean, it's just another place to live.

Was it weird inviting friends over, like, to come play with you after school?

um well like the close friends they understood they really had no problem with it they thought it was weird of course in the beginning but nothing too crazy like that would to me would

be weird if my kids like hey dad i'm going to hang out with you know brianna today like oh okay son that's cool i'll pick you up afterwards and you roll and i roll up and there's a funeral home like did your mom since she worked at the funeral home did she have access also to the hearse like Could she pick you up or drop you off at school in that big old station-waggy type vehicle?

Thankfully, no. We had our own vehicle, so we didn't have to use the hearth. She might have used it a few times to maybe go out, grab something. Usually, it's mostly work stuff, though.

Oh, man. By the way, I want to please talk to Shannon's friend. the next time she goes on a date if she goes over to the house just to see what it's like there because I'd be freaked out by it too.

Oh, I'd be so weirded out.

So I worked in a funeral home for a few months that they had apartments in almost every funeral home they had.

Yeah. So people would rent these things out and have no problem with that?

Yeah. Most of the time it was just the workers that rented them out so that they could be available whenever they needed to have a quick place.

You need to be there when somebody dies.

Yeah. But there was random people that just would live there sometimes. That's this guy.

I mean, honestly, you are, you know, somebody that worked in the business, so it probably didn't freak you out. But could you imagine at night you're trying to, like, get intimate and stuff?

Oh, no.

Yeah.

Well, nobody's bugging you. No, well, I don't know.

You never know, right?

You never know. Those places are weird, creepy. They were always really quiet. I didn't like it.

It'd be creepy if it wasn't quiet. It's supposed to be quiet. If you hear somebody downstairs making a noise, that's when you've got to worry.

Think about it, though. You've got the leftover flowers that they had from the old funerals that nobody would want.

Honestly, you know what? I took many of those flowers home.

Did you really? Would you actually hang them in your house like they were displayed, or would you redo them and put them all together?

It depends. Most of the time, if they took the big, everybody always takes the big ones home. but like some of the leftover vases or peace lilies that people send yeah if they don't want them they just leave them and we had first dibs on them or we threw them away i would sneak down

and put one of my photos on the little photo collage of the deceased and just see every time if anyone ever notices wait you change the actual photo just put my leaders up there but just add mine to it and just see if anyone's like who's that guy did he know charles hey this is be a
