So, got a lot to talk about here, but we got to get to the bottom of this. The weird thing that happened to a member of the show, our producer KP, as she was leaving and going home yesterday. It was the longest drive of your life.

Well, it normally is a pretty long drive from here to home, but the light that I was sitting at was particularly long because I knew, I knew I recognized this charger that was driving right next to me. And I looked over for a quick second and I'm like, oh shoot. And I looked the other way and prayed that he just didn't look over and notice me and we got up to the light, he pulled up. And I have all my windows down because it's such a beautiful day. yesterday and the music's blaring and whatever pull up to the light and i'm trying not to turn my head and i just hear kristen kp like my name is kristen but he called he calls me kristen for those who don't know my real name um kristen and i'm like oh no no no no and i look over at him and i'm like hey who is it who was it it was like an ex-bling it was like um a guy that i didn't 100% date, but definitely like went out with. So I would call it like an ex.

How long ago had you guys been together?

So we weren't together, let me just make that clear. But it was before I left. It was before I left to move to Traverse City last year. So it was about a year ago. And we just, you know, kind of just ended and yeah, nothing happened after that. I wasn't really interested actually.

How did it end? Not really bad.

I just didn't I mean we uh but did it end civilly like were you nice did you um I think it was just very clear that I wasn't interested in that way anymore so yeah but anyway I looked over at him and uh he it was so awkward because he's he's a very kind guy and he's very conversational and my truck and his charger was like they're right next to each other but there was quite a bit of distance between the two of us so it was really awkward when he would ask me hey how have you been I like your truck what are you doing how was your day from the light and it's like bruh I haven't seen you in like a year and I'm like sitting in the light really nervous that it's turning green so I'm having to look at you and answer your question and then look up back at the light because we're the very front it's like there's not a car in front of us so we we don't have the signal to go until we see the light turn green and he's doing the same thing he's looking at me he's asking a question he's looking at the light and then looking back at me and this goes on i feel like for two minutes and it was so weird the weirdest thing i've ever experienced like when you're with someone and it's awkward in person yeah you can just go hey nice to see you and walk away when the conversation's over at a light you're sitting in your car with all your

windows down staring at the light in silence yeah and it goes really slow at that point doesn't it

you know somebody that you don't want to see but also you don't know what you're you should do so you kind of like sit there and go should I look to my other side so I'm not looking at them or

should I should I pretend to check my phone yeah and that's what I did with the radio I did I was

like oh maybe I should like switch the radio or something like touch my phone look like I'm busy in my truck even though like I'm clearly not I'm waiting at a light how long was the entire encounter that you had it felt like an eternity like I honestly could not keep track of how long But it was just at that light, right? Yeah, it was just that light. Okay, because I was going to say, thank God you weren't going. Oh, you actually like. I didn't floor it, but I was like literally two minutes from home too.

That tells him right away that you don't want to talk to him if all of a sudden you.

That's probably why I didn't get a text.

So I'm going to make a guess on this guy based on the car that he drives. Does he drive like a maniac?

No, I'm the maniac driver.

Oh, okay, I'm good. Because every time I pull up to a Charger and my wife's in the car, I'll be like, watch, this guy drives like an idiot. He goes, what are you talking about?

No, he actually drove pretty slow.

So, it's actually the ones, if you look on the back, that has a little B on the back of it. What does that mean?

I was driving the other day. This guy rolls his window down. And he says, hey, how do you get to the Novi show place? And I was like, oh, you're going the right way. Just turn on the back. You're almost there. And he's like, thanks. He speeds off. And I thought, oh, my gosh. I just gave him the wrong direction. And then you look crazy trying to chase him down, don't you?

I felt so bad.

That is actually kind of nice of you, though, to try to chase him down. Like, at least you try to make it nice. Yeah.

That's funny. It wasn't meant to be.

What would you do if you saw an ex that ended, like KP's situation did, and you saw him at a traffic light? Like, would you have pretended like you didn't hear him over the loud music that was playing?

I might just, like, give the middle finger, like, I'm scratching.

I've thought about this. Like, there are certain X's that I would not have answered. I would have been like, ignore, ignore. But this guy was just too nice.

Okay, so I know the traffic light thing, yeah, it may seem like forever. But this honestly happened, I think, last week. We were in stop-and-go traffic in Grand Rapids, and we come up, and, you know, we saw these friends that were, you know, friends of a friend. We don't talk to them at all or anything, so, you know, we wave, say hi. They roll down their windows, and I'm like, do we really roll down our windows? We're going to look like, you know, bad people if we don't, so we rolled down our windows, said, hey, you know, had very, very, very awkward conversation, and then we're just there for, like, 15 minutes, like, uh, uh, I was like, honey, I don't care if it takes longer. I'm getting off the sex, and I'm done.

Yeah, I only roll down the window for a drive-thru.

That's it.

Oh, gosh. Even on nice days, Mike, weather days, will you have your windows down or no? You don't like to have your windows down?

Not really. Not really because I love having my windows down.

See, I don't like having my windows down that much. And a lot of it is that I talk on my phone so much that you can't talk on the phone when that happens.

But the other reason is I sing really loudly in my car if, like, a good song comes on.

I was going out one night, and lo and behold, my ex pulls up literally right next to me at the stoplight i can see you guys at the corner of my eye somebody like waving their arms trying to get my attention i'm like oh heck no it's the middle of the night crazy people like i don't know anybody so i finally like look over because i kind of recognize the truck and i think it's my brother i'm like oh shoot no i look and it's my ex and i'm like oh no so he like flags me down he's like hey pull over i'm like no So we pull over, go into, like, a gas station, and we wind up talking for, like, an hour. And keep in mind, this, like, our breakup, it was messy. It was bad. Like, we hated each other for a long, long, long time. But we started, like, talking, and, like, honestly, secretly, he's been, like, texting me, like, every night since then. Because he has, like, a whole girlfriend and, like, five or six kids.
