All right, it is Mojo in the morning. I got to tell you guys that this has been an amazing year. A year ago, February, I started really kind of focusing on my health and I started being serious about the weight loss shot. I actually take one of those, what do they call them? Semi-glutide, trizapatite, whatever the heck these things are. But I take a Mangiorno, and this past year I've lost 48 pounds doing it. For you? That's amazing. And it hasn't been, like, weight loss like I've had with other programs that I've done. And this is not a program I'm doing, so I just went to my doctor, and Dr. Warner, you know, helped me with this. So I'm not, like, promoting anybody, but if anybody wants me to promote them, I'm a free agent right now, baby. I'll promote anybody, any doctor that wants me to. but um it's actually worked out a lot but i'm doing that and i'm doing something else but i have to be quite honest with you losing weight has literally hurt my marriage as weird as that sounds oh and today well explain thank you for asking today on our we don't podcast that gets put up on our iheart radio app when zachariah uh puts it up there um chelsea and i will discuss this because there is also something else that i'm doing that has caused for some issues and chelsea and i discuss that i am doing one of these shots and i'm being very open about that but i am also doing something that my doctor put me on too which is i'm taking testosterone so i had uh done a blood test to see what kind of testosterone levels i had because i've had friends of mine that have said hey have you ever checked your testosterone i'm like yeah i think they check it in my blood test. Well, do you know what it is? I'm like, I don't know what it is. I mean, I know what my cholesterol is, which is weird to know that, but I have heart issues. So I got to figure that out. And I know like what my blood sugar is because I always worried I was going to be a diabetic anytime that I, you know, feel like I eat a, you know, a cupcake or something like that. I feel like I'm going into a diabetic coma, but I had no idea what my testosterone was. so i went and did a blood test and your testosterone should be like like seven to 700 to like over a thousand and my testosterone was a hundred i literally was a woman i was

00:04:23 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 6:

i transitioned there are and then um that's very normal for men right have low testosterone once they reach a certain point and like if it starts going down no i was trying to be very no honestly

00:04:40 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 5:

like that's normal though right okay shannon i i this is wild buddies of mine who are like 30s for sure 35 36 years old they they went and got their testosterone done their testosterone was like 250 or something like that or 300 they think it's the food that we're eating yeah yeah

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

so are you so you're getting you're you're doing testosterone shots so I can

00:04:59 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

so I can

00:05:00 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

I actually do injections, but there's also, there's creams and things like that, but I'm doing it through a doctor. I actually, uh, Chelsea and I, uh, found this, this doctor that, you know, that, that, you know, I went to and it was her encouraging me to do it because this was one of the things that my cardiologist was telling me was low testosterone could be just as bad for your heart as, as, you know, having too high of testosterone. So, you know, trying to figure this thing out was a big deal so long story short where this hurts my marriage is yeah it has made me horny i was gonna ask and all i want to do is bake cookies and literally i and we talk about this chelsea and i talk about this on the podcast and if you want to call chelsea by the way lydia you you can uh you can give her a call because i'm sure that she'll she'll talk about this but it's gotten to a point where if you are a spouse that is taking testosterone and you're a guy that's doing it because you're trying to make your health better but the libido of your spouse is not keeping up with your libido right it causes for it honestly causes for issues where it becomes a situation where you um you're mismatched you are mismatched and chelsea and also chelsea feels like and we talk about this too and i don't know if there's any other couples that want to talk about this because this is a huge deal amongst people that are trying to lose weight too like others that are, are trying to do weight loss things. I think that what ends up happening is you start losing weight, you start feeling better. And then your spouse, either one of two things feels like they're not. And then they feel like, Oh, they're worried that you're cheating or they worry that you're out doing it for somebody else, not realizing that you're, you know, you're doing it for yourself. And, um, you're kind of mismatched in that way. Or you're again, you're not every woman wants to have sex according to chelsea and i don't understand that chelsea are you there chelsea my wife chelsea is on the phone good morning i think i think you lie to me when you say that

00:06:59 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 4:

not every woman wants to have sex is he talking about it all the time chelsea or is he asking you

00:07:04 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 3:

all the time or both um both so you think so well i always talked about it though true that's true But you liked me with low testosterone. You wanted me not to have testosterone.

00:07:20 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 4:

I like you with zero testosterone.

00:07:24 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 2:

Zero or zero point zero.

00:07:28 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, zero point zero.

00:07:29 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 2:

Were you into it initially? Like when you started to see this change? Okay. You were. You wanted me to get healthier.

00:07:37 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 4:

I want you, yes. I want you to be healthy. I want you to, yeah, I want for your health. Absolutely. But it, yeah, it's turned you into a 20-year-old issue.

00:07:52 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 2:

That's part of health. Yeah.

00:07:55 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, it's not fun for the other person. It just isn't.

00:08:01 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

It's not fun when I wake up pitching a tent?

00:08:06 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's not fun because it changes your attitude about everything, too. I hate talking about this on the radio, but if I don't want to, then you get upset and you take it personal. It's like a huge thing. You don't want to hurt his feelings, yeah. I don't want to hurt his feelings, but guess what? I'm going to hurt your feelings.

00:08:32 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 2:

You ain't never had blue balls. If Chelsea experienced that, it's definitely painful.

00:08:40 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 4:

I experienced what?

00:08:43 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Huh? You never experienced blue balls before?

00:08:47 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:08:48 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

It's worse than childbirth.

00:08:49 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you. Oh, my God.

00:08:51 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry to all the women listening right now. I'm just, I'm really sorry.

00:08:55 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Mika, are you there, Mika?

00:08:58 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

I am.

00:08:59 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

00:09:01 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 1:

So, I'm with you. I'm having trouble in my marriage as well. I've lost 103 pounds. Wow, good for you. Thank you. And, um, I sleep on the couch for the last year.

00:09:14 - 00:09:15 | Unknown:

Why?

00:09:16 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Because, um, he was making comments about my skin one time after we had, um, you know, some bacon cookie time and he was like, you know, I love you and I support you. And I told you I would support you through this. He goes, but, um, if I'm being honest, I prefer you bigger. Oh my gosh. And so after that, he would make like little comments like, look at your skin, feel your skin. It's so different. And I started feeling very uncomfortable. As a heavy girl, I've always been heavy. You have self-esteem issues and they don't go away even when you get skinny. Wow. You still have self-esteem issues.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

So he didn't look at this as, wow.

00:10:00 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 2:

look at you, you know, you're, you're, you're losing weight. Do you think, is he a, is he a guy that, uh, is he a bigger guy? No, no, he's always been thin. Huh? Yep. That's, that's wild.

00:10:13 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 3:

That's true. Yeah. But why be with a guy who doesn't build you up and is making you feel bad

00:10:18 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 5:

about yourself? Just to let you know, my doctor warned me when I started losing weight that 80% of people who have weight loss surgery end up getting a divorce yeah oh my god that is a crazy

00:10:33 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 3:

statistic look at yeah there's a lot of divorce statistics that are very interesting when it

00:10:38 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 1:

comes to women in their health did your did your husband encourage the weight loss surgery and

00:10:42 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 5:

earlier in the process oh totally was there by my side at the hospital and everything totally and then about um i want to say once i got into wonderland under 200 pounds um everything changed

00:10:57 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 3:

that's amazing everything well it's one of my biggest fears when it comes to dating it's because i hear stories like this all the time i talked about it late last year actually on the show and it's horrifying the things that people will say have you thought about going i've noticed that

00:11:13 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 2:

i'm sorry go ahead no i was going to ask you uh say what you're you notice and i'll ask you the

00:11:18 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 5:

question i was gonna say i noticed that people who were nicer to you when you are heavy are kind of meaner to you when you lose weight and people who were meaner to you when you were heavy are nicer to you when you lose weight interesting you learn who is real and who is fake yep very

00:11:34 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 2:

quickly you should look for that podcast too when megan talked about that about people changing and talking to you differently but can i uh ask you this have you thought about going and seeing if

00:11:42 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 5:

a doctor can help you with the excess skin and stuff so i i have unfortunately with my situation i have to lose seven more pounds and then keep them off for a whole year i get it before my insurance before my insurance will cover it and it's still okay so i lost 103 pounds actually three years ago and i teeter back and forth between 97 and 103 wow do you feel beautiful I'm really struggling.

00:12:14 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry? Do you feel beautiful?

00:12:19 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes. Oh, same, same. There are times where you're so proud of yourself and other times you're like, I look worse now.

00:12:27 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Self-esteem issues just don't go away. They're always there.

00:12:30 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 3:

But then you have the feeling of accomplishment of hitting this goal and then looking at yourself in the mirror and being like, but I don't look the way that I thought I would look. And it's so disappointing.

00:12:42 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's why a lot of times they'll tell you when you do lose weight that you should still go talk to a therapist or talk to him. And then not having the support of your partner, too.

00:12:50 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 3:

But then it's also expensive. Therapy is expensive. Getting plastic surgery to fix it is expensive. It's insane.

00:12:57 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 2:

Stacey has, oh, oh, God, listen to that.

00:13:00 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 1:

Stacey's got a baby in your brain.

00:13:00 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 4:

Sorry, that's my grandson. He's hangry. I'm working on it.

00:13:03 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm working on it. Stacey says that Chelsea, my wife Chelsea is still on the phone here, that uh uh the testosterone thing was an issue is that right in your relationship with your husband

00:13:14 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 4:

yeah yeah it was um his testosterone was in the 100s so when he first got tested and you know he started with the cream and it literally did nothing for him except for all the emotional roller coaster that this man rode it was so hard like just to be there and understand and sympathize with him we're sitting at the kitchen table and he would just start crying and i'm like babe what what is going on and he's like i don't know and i'm like okay what can i do and then it was later on he's completely flipped to 180 and he's raring and ready to go and i'm like you were just crying your eyes out 10 minutes ago and now you want to just go upstairs and handle our business it's like i i didn't know where i was supposed to be it took a lot of faith a lot of praying and just a lot of patience.

00:14:10 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 2:

Interesting.

00:14:11 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 4:

Do you get that way? Do you get really emotional?

00:14:14 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 2:

No, I mean, I get... Chelsea, do I get more emotional, too?

00:14:18 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 5:

No. You don't get, like, upset, like, cry emotional, but you get mad if I don't.

00:14:27 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, Chelsea's also... But Chelsea's also lost a lot of weight, too, and she looks amazing. And honestly, by the way, I'm sorry, I'm going to hang up on you because your kid is a little crazy. It's actually making me grow boobs right now. My breasts are lactating when I hear that child crying. But Chelsea's lost weight, and Chelsea looks amazing. And honestly, if she's not having sex with me, I'm thinking she wants to have sex with somebody else. And I look at her like...

00:15:00 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 1:

this way and i'm like going man i feel like i'm i feel like i'm trying to look better too and um and i'm thinking that it's going to make us want to you know enjoy each other more and it and it hasn't and so part of me then becomes then i then i started having lack of confidence in

00:15:17 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 2:

myself i i mean as a wife i can understand that it's like it's like the circle of craziness because it probably feels good for you chels to be so desired but then at the same time you don't want to be having sex all day every day so then you say no you know every now and again and then it pushes him away and he's like well wait a second why and then it just keeps going around

00:15:37 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 1:

and around and around do you feel good to be desired or do you or does it not matter to you to me yeah yeah um i mean i no i'm fine so because that does bother me sometimes like i i and i think i never i think i tell her too much that i love her and i think sometimes it just it becomes

00:16:01 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 4:

falling on deaf ears well i yeah i just there's so much more than this whole break can ever cover but yes i think that it because it's making me sound like a horrible wife but um i want you to be healthy i want you to lose the weight and i want you to be again healthy for your heart and all of that stuff but then it comes you know there's also two people in this relationship so it just can't be about what you want constantly all the time but that's the way it feels because if I don't do that then you're upset and then it just ruins the night or the day or whatever

00:16:38 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 1:

I get it um and we get more into this discussion on on the podcast later today and it gets to a point where it's like we're both she basically is telling me like I can't keep up with this and it's not about just the sex it's just the emotions that go on with things i gotta tell you it was more fun being fat and you know i i actually do think this though i think our relationship sometimes is better when there's a traumatic situation that happens so i want to have another heart issue stop not funny that's interesting though i do i think that she likes me or loves me more when there's like something going on oh my gosh when there's a let's not do that please so but other but otherwise it's it's kind of like i don't know it's it's kind of like you have to like as a kid you know you're a kid and you weren't getting noticed at all uh when you had like a sibling so what would you do you threw something down on the ground just to piss

00:17:30 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 5:

off your parents sometimes you have to get noticed i don't know i don't like that being noticed i'm making that the heart thing no no no i'll be fine couldn't it be like i wish to break a finger and

00:17:43 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 4:

like she has to make soup for me i don't like i don't know um all right well listen to the podcast

00:17:48 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 1:

today you can check it out on the iheart radio app chelsea i cannot believe this should be a topic too that we should get some of these people to come on with us all these listeners are calling up saying weight loss caused issues in their relationship i cannot believe how many of our listeners said that they got they ran into marital issues after losing weight well yeah i'm sure i'm sure that does happen for sure did any time in my 8 000 other weight loss journeys did i did that

00:18:17 - 00:18:38 | Speaker 4:

cause any issues in our relationship no just the testosterone just the testosterone all right all right it's never been about what you look like so that's and i've never i don't know i got very clear with that listener that called in i don't make comments i don't you know as i praise you like i but i don't want to make it about your looks because that's just not well you also met

00:18:38 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 1:

me and i was fat and the only time that it's ever been bad was when you just worried about

00:18:42 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 4:

me dying you know what i mean my health yeah i don't i don't place everything on your looks i think you're an amazing person with who you are so i don't want anyone to think that i'm saying anything bad about your looks it's just strictly the testosterone issue right now let's end on a

00:18:57 - 00:19:22 | Speaker 5:

positive mark what did you want to say what's up brother i'm glad you guys are back what's up with them lions but hey i was 400 pounds and right now i'm like 307 i've just been changing stuff up and my my sex life is great the the girl loves it we have sex all the time she says it feels so good

00:19:22 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 1:

so yeah do you just call it the girl and what is what is the what is the reasoning why the girl

00:19:30 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 5:

thinks it's better she she says it's just because i i've always been told that that i have a nice unit but with losing weight i think that my stomach is more out of the way and my my unit might be maybe an inch or a little bit longer okay i'm sorry i'm sorry no no mark here's the

00:19:53 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 1:

deal mark had a dicky do and for those that don't know what a dick
