We'll be right back.

00:01:57 - 00:02:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you know what that means.

00:02:09 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 4:

If we only had Mason here, he'd be going, welcome, like something like that. Like, wouldn't he? Welcome to the palace or something like that. And he always did that fun stuff that he would do as the PA announcer and still does for the Detroit Pistons.

00:02:28 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 5:

Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to the amazing There it is. Mojo!

00:02:34 - 00:02:53 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Hey, we're going to be at the Pistons game tonight. So it's going to be pretty cool. So we're going to be out there tonight. And they're playing the Milwaukee Bucks, which the Bucks are the favorite to win the NBA championship this year. And the Pistons are the favorite to possibly get the number one pick.

00:02:54 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 6:

What are the Bucks colors so I know what not to wear?

00:02:56 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 4:

Green.

00:02:57 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Everything I own is green.

00:02:59 - 00:03:03 | Speaker 4:

Green. Like, everything you wore to Irish and Ionia, don't wear to the game tonight.

00:03:04 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

00:03:04 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay? Because that's what the Bucs are all about. You know, it's funny is that Lydia has been wanting to do this for a while. She's, like, really a big Pistons fan. She's our, you know, show director here. And so she's been, like, planning this thing for a while, like, us to go. And I was so excited to, like, pick this game thinking, okay, you know, the Milwaukee Bucs. They're still trying to work towards the playoffs and a number one seed. And then I looked at the thing. I think they already got the number one seed. Yeah. They're pretty much locked in. So is the guy whose name I can't pronounce, the Tempacombe or Giannis? Yeah. Is he going to be there? Giannis? I think so, right? Is he going to be? So let's hope he's there playing. Lydia says that they're going to feature us on the scoreboard, too. Is that right, Lydia? Come on in, Lydia.

00:04:00 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 5:

I better shave. This is going to be nice.

00:04:03 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 4:

Now I've got a fake tan. We're going to be on the kiss cam. Make sure that you...

00:04:08 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 5:

Who likes beer breath, sit next to me.

00:04:10 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 4:

Who should we sit next to each other for the kiss cam? Wouldn't it be funny, Spike, you and I next to each other and we have to kiss each other?

00:04:17 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 5:

I'm all in. I've been looking for an excuse.

00:04:19 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 4:

By the way, that would actually probably get the crowd going crazy. You know, if nobody knows who we are. Yeah, I'll be your bear. You tell me.

00:04:28 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 5:

I'll be your bear.

00:04:29 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. You got to kiss like Harry Styles, though. Oh, my God. So, Lydia, what's the story? So, if you go to the game tonight, look out for us?

00:04:39 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because they're going to put us on the board for their 3-1-3 rep-in moment. So, they're going to show a feature of all of us sitting in our seats. We're going to do a cute little wave and smile.

00:04:47 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to have to wear my Pistons 3-1-3 gear that I got. So, that would be cool.

00:04:53 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 6:

I've got to buy something before the game starts. I'm getting something there. Maybe Lucy has something I can swipe.

00:04:57 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

The Pistons have great...

00:05:00 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, their merch is nice. I need a hat. The hoodies and the hats and the t-shirts and jerseys. I'm too fat for a jersey. I couldn't put a jersey on. It would be too tough for me. I don't think that they... If a jersey has to come in more than a double X, then you're probably not supposed to be wearing it. Stop. You wear whatever you want. Yeah. All right. Who would I pay? They'll have to pull out Rick Mahorn's old jersey because he'd be the only guy big enough to be able to fit into it. but um all right so tonight make sure that you join us so real quick before we do anything else and we have lydia here in the studio kp was telling us that you were at her birthday you know the concert party that she uh had over the weekend and you were pretty drunk is that true

00:05:45 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 2:

oh my gosh i was rocked like when i say rocked i mean i had nine vodka cranberries and nine wow

00:05:53 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 1:

I would be in Michigan's Medicine Hospital for that.

00:05:59 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

And so before I start, I did not throw up. So I don't want to be the one known as that. But I was streetwalking. So we started off at Detroit. Streetwalking. Streetwalking. But this is why. This is why. Because we started off at Detroit Shipping Company. And I drove my car there. And afterwards, I had about four drinks there. then we walked to the masonic temple because that's where the concert was and i had thought okay i'm done drinking i want to sober up because we were going to be there for about four or five hours and then i was like if i wasn't feeling good enough i was going to call my mom or my little guy friend to come get me well as soon as we got there of course what did we do we stopped at the bar first and uh kp's friend patrick was he was encouraging me he was like go ahead buy two buy three like do what you want and was it patrick buying those oh patrick didn't buy them he was just encouraging sorry Patrick I'm not gonna give you the credit for that he did offer

00:06:53 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 3:

he did offer but I declined he doesn't sound like Patrick he normally does uh all the buying he is

00:06:58 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 2:

great guy um so then I was probably about what like four or five more drinks in and the concert hadn't even started yet and KP was drunk too I think it was the both of us that got the most drunk because we were just pacing back and forth in our own aisle like jumping on top of people saying hi I was making friends with the guys behind me um they were talking about how they've listened to a couple of our sister stations and then they realized me and kp were from the show so they were fangirling a little bit and we were so excited to meet them too and um it got to the point where i had to text my mom and uh gas station guy and tell them i was a little bit too drunk so

00:07:34 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 1:

your mom and gas station guys this guy that you're talking about that you've been kind of like on and off again dating uh yes and you had to have them come and do like the come get my car one person

00:07:45 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 2:

and come get me yep we the show didn't even start yet um and then so i stepped out for a little bit to just take a breather wait so you didn't even who was it you were saying yeah that's right yeah

00:07:54 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

we didn't i didn't see him yet you were that you were that drunk you had to already pre-plan your

00:08:00 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

way home so that you can get home yeah well um he started to come on and i took a step out in the hallway and i saw kp's friends were texting us and they were like where's lydia like in the group chat And they were like, Lydia, are you OK? And I'm like, yes. And then probably about five minutes later, gas station guy pulled up with his friend to go take me home, like to drive my car to take me home to my mom. And then my mom had to drive him home. But before that happened, I was walking down the street in front of the Masonic Temple, literally pacing back and forth, trying to find the car. And he couldn't even keep up with me. He was like doing you.

00:08:32 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you couldn't remember where you parked the car.

00:08:35 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 2:

No, I knew where I parked the car, but I was trying to walk there. But he had already caught me in time. You were looking for him. Yeah, I was looking for him, but I was walking in the dark in downtown Detroit as if I was so worried. Was it pretty crowded around

00:08:49 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 1:

Masonic? No.

00:08:50 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 3:

The show had started, so the street was vacant. This whole situation makes me laugh because the day before, I texted everyone individually, do you have driving arrangements? Do you need a place to stay? Because I am not going to be in the mindset to help you if there's an issue. Little do I know, Lydia is scaling Masonic Temple, and I am inside of this, literally just like, I woke up to text messages in the group chat saying, KP is gone, and Lydia is nowhere in sight.

00:09:18 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so who is more gone, though?

00:09:20 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I don't know.

00:09:22 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

Who is responsible for you on your birthday?

00:09:25 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 3:

Everybody was responsible for me.

00:09:26 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

So some people from the thing were driving you. Yes. And Lydia, you drove yourself because you live on opposite ends of the world, probably, from where the rest of these people live, right?

00:09:37 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I'm always the one that's like, yeah, I'll hold my own. so everyone can be safe with me. And I told PPM, like, I can be the DD, you know, if anyone needs me. I'm glad she didn't take my word for it.

00:09:46 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

Wow, what a turn.

00:09:48 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm glad.

00:09:49 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 3:

Now, like you said at the beginning of this conversation, I was going to have to call my little guy friend to rescue me. Does he like being called your little guy friend?

00:09:58 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

I don't really know what.

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 6:

he minds, but at this point, if we're not in a committed relationship, he's just a friend. Can I be honest with you, though?

00:10:05 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 3:

Come on. No, no, no, no. I'm sticking up for him. Because this guy drove all the way to downtown Detroit to go pick your ass up. That's commitment

00:10:13 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 7:

right there. He cares for you. Sure, that is commitment. So then just, why doesn't he say to her, I am committed to you. Guess what? I can be your boyfriend. You can be my girlfriend.

00:10:21 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 3:

He gets a couple more months out of that deal.

00:10:23 - 00:10:23 | Unknown:

No.

00:10:24 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 6:

He's already had years.

00:10:26 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 3:

He's got years.

00:10:27 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 6:

He is walking on a thin line right now

00:10:30 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, I'm going to tell you If you drink at the game tonight You're on your own

00:10:33 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 4:

I'll be your little guy friend

00:10:36 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 3:

So you never saw the concert You never got to see your first country concert

00:10:42 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 6:

No, well I've watched the opening acts Which counts for something

00:10:46 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 3:

What an amateur

00:10:48 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 5:

The opening act was pretty good

00:10:49 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 6:

I don't know, but it was good

00:10:52 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 5:

Something Cadillac

00:10:53 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 3:

In that country

00:10:56 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 6:

And you know what? I think everyone around me was looking at me like I was a foreigner, which I am. But, you know, I was the only Chaldean girl in the crowd.

00:11:04 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 5:

No, you made friends with my friend Dan, who's a Chaldean. Oh, Dan is half Chaldean.

00:11:07 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 6:

Do Chaldeans typically not like country music? Is that a thing? They're like, yeah, I love Luke Bryan. Like, it's like the basics. Like, it's not a Cole Wetzel like KP. Yeah, that's deep. Right, right. That's deep cuts.

00:11:20 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 4:

I don't know what either of you guys are saying right now. I feel like you're saying artists, but I don't know. They're into country like Lydia's into drinking. It's not, you know, it doesn't make sense.

00:11:28 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 7:

Nine vodka crayons. Yeah, and I did not throw up.

00:11:32 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 6:

I didn't wake up with a hangover. That's amazing. I'm like, I can do this every week. No, you can't.

00:11:38 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 3:

So your little friend, who was the guy that he brought with to help him out?

00:11:41 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 6:

He brought his friend Joe.

00:11:42 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 3:

So Joe. So we got to thank Joe, too, for also helping him.

00:11:45 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 6:

We will thank Joe and solely Joe. Wow.

00:11:49 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 3:

So what did you guys do? So did you get in the car with Joe or did you get in the car with-

00:11:54 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 6:

So Joe picked up Gas Station Guy and they drove to Masonic Temple, flagged me down as I'm pacing the street. And then I got in Joe's car. Joe took us to Detroit Shipping Co. And so Gas Station Guy had to drive my car back home to where my mom had to then drive us back to Gas Station Guy's house and then had to drive me back home. And my mom was like, what is wrong with you? She was a little mad.

00:12:17 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 4:

Your mom's a saint. She was mad at you.

00:12:19 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 6:

She was. She was like, are you tired? Are you drunk? You can usually hold your liquor, Lydia. That was like what she was saying.

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but nine, though?

00:12:25 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 3:

You can hold nine?

00:12:27 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 6:

I held nine. I did a pretty good job.

00:12:29 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 4:

Did you hold it, or you were wandering the streets of Detroit alone and drunk?

00:12:34 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So you never got a chance, KP. She never got a chance to see the country concert.

00:12:38 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 5:

It was so good. My favorite part was looking back at all the people that I had invited and seeing them mingling with people they'd never met before and actually enjoying themselves. It's fun. I feel like that is a huge win when you have a bunch of strangers who are meeting up together and having a good time.

00:12:53 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 3:

Did you guys have an entire row? Because you had 12 tickets, right?

00:12:55 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 5:

We did have an entire row.

00:12:57 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 3:

It was so fun. Were you guys, like, were people pointing you out and stuff because you guys were all together? Or did they know you were all together?

00:13:03 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't think they realized we were all together. I think at one point I made it to the pit, not going to lie.

00:13:08 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 4:

Can I call you from the stage? Because Mojo and I made a special phone call to the record. Did you really? Did he not dedicate a song to you?

00:13:14 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 5:

No, he did not, unfortunately.

00:13:14 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 6:

And I have to say, KP's friends are ride or die because they were a little bit drunk, too. But the whole time they're screaming, my friend is famous. Oh, God, no.

00:13:25 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 5:

No, my friend Scott knows that makes me so annoyed. I hate that. And he always he'll go up to people and be like, did you know that she's from Mojo in the morning? Oh, God, no. Cool it.

00:13:34 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 3:

Quick question for you. When you're with 12 total people on a night, I assume it's like a bachelorette party. Do you guys stop off at like Lovers Lane and buy little like penises and things like that? You know how they always have little decorative things Did you guys all wear the same thing?

00:13:49 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 4:

Matching cowboy hats

00:13:50 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 3:

Did you have a tiara or something like that

00:13:53 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 5:

No, I didn't But a lot of my non-country friends came wearing flannels And I feel like that's a telltale thing If you're wearing a flannel, a cowboy hat, or cowboy boots You are not a country fan That's a rookie move

00:14:04 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 4:

Almost as bad as drinking nine vodka crayons Hey guys, it's Ryan

00:14:10 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 2:
