So I have had nothing but really traumatic experiences when I went to the gyno growing up. That sounds ridiculous. I mean traumatic and I don't know who to blame here but at one point let's just say I had gone to the doctor I was not active yet and was kind of reprimanded for lying and it really put a bad taste in my mouth with the whole system for a really really long time what do you mean you were reprimanded for lying um I said that I was not active they uh they said that I was not telling the truth about that and it was like the most scary thing like to have a doctor tell you that you're lying is very weird i don't the power dynamics are weird the whole thing is very uncomfortable and i didn't go back for a really long time which is not a good thing and i know that but i didn't go back for a really really long time um and so i was super nervous going into this and every time that i have any kind of issue this is also tmi but i'll share it anyways i get really bad bladder infections like all of the time and i've actually been hospitalized for it. And every time you go in, they make you take a pregnancy test just in case. So before I had left to go to the doctor's office, I had peed accidentally just because that's what I do before I get in the car. I'm like a toddler. I have to do a full checklist, like wallet, keys, phone, go to the bathroom, leave the house. And I left and immediately went, oh shoot, you just peed, you dummy. You got to go take a pregnancy test. You got to go get some water. So I stopped at a gas station get a giant bottle of water and i'm like chugging it on my way to this doctor's office and i'm like pounding this giant bottle of water and i it's me i don't drink water to save my life so this kind of hits me really hard and i get into the doctor's office and it takes a little bit longer than i guess i was anticipating to go back into the room and i'm filling out questionnaires like you do at a new office and yada yada yada it's really boring it's taking forever. And I realize as the nurse is sitting me in the back room, she wants to go over all of my questions. Now, I have never been to one of these doctor's offices where they didn't immediately say, all right, before we go back, I'm going to have you go into the bathroom and have you pee in this cup. We're going to do a pregnancy test, yada, yada, yada, just to make sure. And that didn't happen. And so I'm starting to panic. I need to take a pee pee. Exactly. and I'm starting to like sweat and kind of breathe heavy and I feel like a kid in second grade who's too scared to ask to go to the bathroom and so this nurse is asking me all of these questions and going through my entire family history and the whole time I'm like please don't pee yourself on this table please don't pee yourself on this table
