Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan, how was your doctor's appointment yesterday? We were talking on the air about how you were going to the doctor and all the worry of how you had to make sure that you groomed yourself and took care of yourself because you were going to the gyno.

00:02:15 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

So I have had nothing but really traumatic experiences when I went to the gyno growing up. That sounds ridiculous. I mean traumatic and I don't know who to blame here but at one point let's just say I had gone to the doctor I was not active yet and was kind of reprimanded for lying and it really put a bad taste in my mouth with the whole system for a really really long time what do you mean you were reprimanded for lying um I said that I was not active they uh they said that I was not telling the truth about that and it was like the most scary thing like to have a doctor tell you that you're lying is very weird i don't the power dynamics are weird the whole thing is very uncomfortable and i didn't go back for a really long time which is not a good thing and i know that but i didn't go back for a really really long time um and so i was super nervous going into this and every time that i have any kind of issue this is also tmi but i'll share it anyways i get really bad bladder infections like all of the time and i've actually been hospitalized for it. And every time you go in, they make you take a pregnancy test just in case. So before I had left to go to the doctor's office, I had peed accidentally just because that's what I do before I get in the car. I'm like a toddler. I have to do a full checklist, like wallet, keys, phone, go to the bathroom, leave the house. And I left and immediately went, oh shoot, you just peed, you dummy. You got to go take a pregnancy test. You got to go get some water. So I stopped at a gas station get a giant bottle of water and i'm like chugging it on my way to this doctor's office and i'm like pounding this giant bottle of water and i it's me i don't drink water to save my life so this kind of hits me really hard and i get into the doctor's office and it takes a little bit longer than i guess i was anticipating to go back into the room and i'm filling out questionnaires like you do at a new office and yada yada yada it's really boring it's taking forever. And I realize as the nurse is sitting me in the back room, she wants to go over all of my questions. Now, I have never been to one of these doctor's offices where they didn't immediately say, all right, before we go back, I'm going to have you go into the bathroom and have you pee in this cup. We're going to do a pregnancy test, yada, yada, yada, just to make sure. And that didn't happen. And so I'm starting to panic. I need to take a pee pee. Exactly. and I'm starting to like sweat and kind of breathe heavy and I feel like a kid in second grade who's too scared to ask to go to the bathroom and so this nurse is asking me all of these questions and going through my entire family history and the whole time I'm like please don't pee yourself on this table please don't pee yourself on this table

00:05:00 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 4:

And we get through it, and she's asking me all these questions, and she's like, all right, we're going to start the exam soon. And I said, are we going to do a pregnancy test? And she goes, well, you said that you haven't been sexually active in, you know, over X amount of time. I didn't think that was really necessary. And I said, oh, it's necessary. And she was like, is it necessary for you to take the test? I was like, no, no, no, but it is necessary for me to go pee right now. I literally thought I was going to vomit. i was trying to hold this in sweating my blood pressure was really high when she took it she's like are you okay i was like yeah i'm fine and then i like booked it to the bathroom absolutely

00:05:38 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 8:

booked it doesn't it doesn't that suck when you do have to take you know like they want you to pee or do anything and you can't go at the time that you need to go and then exactly the same thing where you're not prepared to uh to like sit there and be a camel right and uh and hold on to it

00:05:57 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 3:

Your butt works every time Tickle your butt Yes, you tickle the top of your butt And you will pee

00:06:03 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 8:

I promise you You don't have to necessarily drink a whole thing of water

00:06:07 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

I don't know, it magically comes out

00:06:10 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 8:

So if I was to stand up right now And just tickle my butt

00:06:13 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, you don't sit to pee But I sit when I pee, obviously Okay, maybe you do You don't know, it's just a thing Like if you tickle the top of your butt That helps me pee Always Dyno included.

00:06:29 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 8:

Wasn't that nice, though, of her to actually believe you that you weren't sexually active instead of that first doctor that was, like, not, you know?

00:06:36 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but because of that first experience, I brought it up because I was scared to ask questions. I was scared to do absolutely anything in this office. And it turns out she came very highly recommended. I was so excited. I left that place smiling, good mood. It was great. 10 out of 10 would recommend full 180 from all my other ones, but I was so traumatized.

00:06:59 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 8:

10 out of 10 vaginas recommend

00:07:01 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 3:

that doctor. How weird is it, by the way, and this is for all girls who ever have to pee in the cup, it's like how many, like 50% of the time I pee in my hand. 50% of the time I still have to pee more, so you're like, do I set the cup on the floor? Do I set it on the sink? That's kind of gross. I'm already bad at cornhole. Where do I go? Now I've got to pee in a cup. There's just a lot to it.

00:07:23 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 4:

And then you never know how full it's getting. Right. You're like, I'm going to stop and check.

00:07:28 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 5:

And then it's hot and it rolls. Push the brakes and make it stop. You're like, ah.

00:07:32 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 8:

By the way, that is, again, another reason why we have to bow down before you guys, that we at least have the ability to be able to, you know, kink the hose, so to speak. What's going on, Andrea?

00:07:45 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 2:

hey so when you're pregnant uh before an ultrasound they tell you to drink 64 ounces of water like an hour before your appointment yeah and then i swear it never fails every time you're waiting for the ultrasound uh because they want you to have a full bladder so every time you're waiting it's like the longest way ever i can't tell you how many times i've almost

00:08:06 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 8:

peed my pants before an ultrasound oh man it's insane yeah so so you can relate to uh to this That this is a

00:08:13 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Yes, far too well

00:08:15 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 8:

Thank you for the call, we appreciate it

00:08:18 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 5:

Well Megan, I don't have that problem I am chronically dehydrated My doctor told me that I need to drink more water Every time I go, I have to ask them For like a Capri Sun or something I feel like a child because I can't pee I literally can, I have the opposite thing

00:08:32 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 8:

Do you What, they tell you They can tell that you're dehydrated

00:08:37 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 5:

Well, when you're in the bathroom for 30 minutes Saying that you can't pee in the cup they're going to give you, you know, something to help you pee.

00:08:44 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 8:

And doctor's offices don't seem like they would have, like, a great selection of things to drink.

00:08:49 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 5:

Well, actually, I like the Capri Suns. I think they're pretty good.

00:08:53 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 7:
