All right, it is Mojo on the morning show. Megan got pushed to the little kids' table. She got, and this was actually not at dinner. This was in a meeting for, wait, and you're a, aren't you on the board of this organization? A committee, a board, I'm pretty sure it's a committee.

Which one's less important? Committee, right?

I don't know. I think that they're both very important.

I think a board is like higher, higher up. Right? I'm not that important. They've got very important people on that. So I'm on the committee for our women's shelter here in Toledo called the YWCA. And we have monthly meetings. I actually have a meeting again with him tonight, which I'm really excited about. I got new info coming your way quickly here on my Instagram if you're following along. But anyways, we had our monthly meeting on, what was it, Monday? And I go, and we are getting so much done. You ever have a meeting where you're so productive? You're like, who are we? We are, like, Sia's unstoppable. You can't stop me right now. I'm killing it. But this meeting goes over, and a lot of people have to leave their moms. They've got to go get the kids. That makes sense. But a few of us decide to stick around and get more done, do a little bit more planning. And so when this meeting ends, we kind of break up into two groups. And I look up, and I realize we've been split up very interestingly because it's all of the women who make all of the important decisions, and they're having this deep discussion. It's beautiful to watch. Ladies getting it done, women power, whoop, whoop. And then there's me and my friend, Lauren, and we're definitely at the kids' table because we're actually sitting with legitimate children who are brought to this meeting who are in middle school. And I'm like, girl, my entire life, I swear to God, I will always be sat at the kids' table, even in my real-life adult responsibilities. I'm sat with literal children instead of with the women.

So they had a big conference room table, and then there weren't enough seats, so you had to sit at a little table?

So we had a big conference room table, and we're in the Midwest. The sun sets weird angles early, pretty much. So the sun's coming down. We're being blinded at half of this table. So they moved to another table in another area of the building we were in. But it was like, I was left with the literal children. There is a kid on a phone playing Minecraft, and I'm trying to get stuff done. And then I am a grown adult lady. Thank you very much. But were you trying to help the kid play Minecraft? Yeah, a little part of me was like so sick of actually doing work that I was like, what are you doing? Megan, didn't you just buy that new Harry Potter game? No. Thank you, KP, for reminding me that I don't have Harry Potter until July. I think you could have played with him.

Don't they realize that that's a bad move for them to put you there because your attention span is about those kids' level?

And you would not be very productive if you're sitting there with those guys?

Correct. But why is it until we pop out a crotch goblin, we will always be sat at the kids' table.

People just don't realize. So all of the adults in my life call me too young, and then KB has the audacity to come out here and be like,

Can I tell you something, though? I'd rather be at the kids' table only because the adult table, sometimes they make it too fancy, and their conversation becomes political and stuff.

No, I live for that kind of stuff. I live for those discussions. You know what happens when you're the only non-parent at the kids' table? You're now the babysitter for the evening, and now you have to entertain the children and talk. Do you ever sit down and talk with a seven-year-old for two hours straight? Because let me tell you, it's interesting for about five minutes, and then you're done.

because i don't think people understand this so um i had my world absolutely turned upside down when i saw the women's shelter here in toledo it's on jefferson avenue it's in downtown and i think a lot of people know that it's there and don't know what condition it's in um that is a a safe haven for a lot of women in northwest ohio like it's not just toledo they go down like they serve women two hours south of us an hour and a half west of us like it is a huge resource and it is devastatingly underfunded um the the building is absolutely falling apart and it is horrific to see the conditions inside and know that that is a lot of women's only option and so we are currently in the middle of a huge capital fund uh essentially that sounds fancy It's a huge fundraiser They are raising, I think We need 15 million, I think we have over 12 I could be wrong But COVID unfortunately Made the cost go way up So we had actually raised What we needed and all the construction Materials and everything went up in price So the fight's not over And we're going to keep grinding But we're hosting a lot of events to try to do that Fundraising

Once we start construction, the hard part is, because the building is so old, we have to put everything up to code first. Once you start, you can't stop. So we need this money so we can start the process.
