00:02:04 - 00:02:12 | Speaker 5:

a very emotional weekend but Megan cried twice at a restaurant this weekend what were you

00:02:12 - 00:02:15 | Speaker 2:

over-served. Because that happens.

00:02:15 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 4:

Maybe. That might have played a part in this. But I do have to say, I can't even tell you the last time I cried. Really? Yeah. I mean, maybe at like a sad commercial or something because I am a sucker for a good sad commercial. But like, really cried, no, not in a while. And this weekend I cried not once but twice in public. And it was so embarrassing. I know. You should feel bad for me. The draft's over there. He's on top of it today just trying to mock me.

00:02:48 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 5:

No, I want to know because you're in a restaurant. First off, you're not only just crying, you're crying in a public place. Yeah. Was it about the restaurant or what was it about?

00:02:57 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 4:

The first one kind of was. Okay, so on Friday, it was opening day here in Toledo for the Mud Hens. And my days start really early, right? We get up around 4 o'clock in the morning. I didn't get home until, like, Saturday morning at, like, 1 o'clock in the morning. So, like, it was a long day for me. And by the time we had gotten to the restaurant that night, I really, really, really needed sleep and food. And it took an hour and a half for us to get our food. And I remember turning, and not my head, like, my whole body towards my brother and just looking at him. And, Shannon, have you ever done this where you're crying, but you're not trying to cry? It's just happening against your will And like you're not like sniffling And your voice isn't weird But the tears just won't stop falling Out of your eyes And I just looked at my brother and I was like At what point do we think it's acceptable for me to bring up the fact That it's been an hour and a half and we still don't have our food And my brother's like are you okay And I'm like I think my entire body is shutting down on me And I don't know how to make it stop He's like What can I do to help? I was like the tears won't stop I don't know what to do They just keep falling

00:04:05 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 5:

so that's night one is it by the way is it funny when you they come to you and they say i'm sorry we're going to check one more time and then all of a sudden you go no or you know it's like that people are like oh lady you really want the food that bad that you're crying over it but it's the it's probably everything the sum of everything right well the server came over at one point

00:04:26 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 4:

he's like are you sure it didn't come out i was like yeah no we don't have any food or dishes on our table and i just thought you know what i think i can get a free meal here no i'm hungry feed me please feed me i need this i hate that when they don't know what's going on at their

00:04:42 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 5:

own table because there's so many people there and they also do that rotating of tables yes have you seen was this one of those restaurants that did that well it's one of those restaurants where

00:04:51 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

somebody from the kitchen will bring your food so the after they like oh yeah get the order they We don't really check on you again. Which is a good thing.

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 1:

to have happen because 99.9% of time, it actually is a good thing because it means you're going to get your food fast or you'll get it as soon as they put it. They won't put it up on a heating lamp or anything of that stuff. But sometimes the person who's your waiter or waitress, your server's not paying attention. Right. Right. That's just embarrassing. Thank God

00:05:19 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 4:

everybody around me was hammer drunk because I was just the girl crying in the corner waiting for food it was kind of ridiculous looking back at it very embarrassing and then that wasn't even the gist like that was just night one of my weekend night two I had family in from out of town and we were talking about some pretty deep and heavy family things that had been happening recently lots of bad news has been coming out of my family in the past couple of weeks and um there was a death in our family and it was heavy it was a lot and we were talking about it for the first time just as our server started walking up to our table so i was bawling sitting there in front of my pasta which was very delicious but just like bawling and she came to be like how's everything tasting and then looked at me and was like i'm gonna come back in a little bit just absolutely embarrassing that i can't stop crying in public in front of my food all weekend so um

00:06:18 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 1:

Is there a pattern here? What is the pattern?

00:06:22 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 4:

I think I've been letting myself get too hungry.

00:06:25 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it is? So your blood sugar. When your blood sugar gets to a certain point, you've got to eat.

00:06:29 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 4:

You need to carry some snacks in your bag like I do. I was going to say, I feel like I should turn into a mom and I should have a little thing of goldfish.

00:06:36 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 3:

I should have some fruit by the foot, a granola bar.

00:06:40 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 1:

Where is the craziest place that you started bawling, crying? You'll have to call us and tell us at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. You think, okay, restaurant, all right. I witnessed the last time I went to Cedar Point a grown man crying at Cedar Point. And I never could walk up to him and ask him what it was about. But I walked over and I go, oh, my God, this guy is like legit. I thought he was laughing so hard he was crying. One of those? Yeah. He was sobbing. And I had no idea. And I didn't have the guts to go. Normally I have the guts to walk up and go, excuse me. You should have. Is there anything I can do to help you?

00:07:16 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 2:

I remember I did it in an AutoZone. You did? Yes, I was walking through AutoZone getting a part for my lawnmower, and Tim McGraw's Live Like You Were Dying came out. Oh, my God. Oh, that's right. I'm not joking. And it literally hit me. My dad had passed away like a year or two before that, and that song just made me, like, it put me in my feelings, and nobody had any idea what was going on. And I'm looking at a little part for a lawnmower in tears, just sobbing as the people from AutoZone are like, what in the hell do we do? Like, they don't know what to do. And I just sat there and just bawled and bawled and bawled. Yeah.

00:07:51 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 3:

I was crying out on the treadmill at Planet Fitness last night.

00:07:53 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:07:54 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 3:

I cry every day, by the way. At Planet Fitness, you cry every day. No, I don't think that's an exaggeration. I am a very emotional person. I cry all the time when I'm happy. I cry when I'm sad. My kids make fun of me for it all the time. But like last night, I just there were so many things that were like happening and it all just came to a head. And I, I was on the treadmill and and I just like my mind started going a thousand miles per hour. So I'm sweating and crying and I hope it just looked like sweat. But it was just a big mess.

00:08:30 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, you have said that Sunday nights when you transfer kids is very difficult.

00:08:34 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 3:

And that was I mean, there were a whole bunch of things that were part of it. But Sundays are awful for me. And so I try to get out of the house and do stuff when I'm feeling that way. And so last night I'm like, I'm going to go and just, you know, walk on the treadmill. And so that's what I did. But, oh, I was a big mess.

00:08:50 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm like you. I cry all the time, too. Everywhere.

00:08:52 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 3:

I have no shame in crying.

00:08:54 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

And like Mike, where a song will ignite a cry. And that will be the tough one for me. I started watching a new show. Actually, I started and finished it so fast. but i watched uh that harrison ford show that's on apple tv called uh shrinking have you guys watched that at all no oh my god i'm gonna say these you guys it's my new ted lasso it's so it's so good it's really really good but there's a couple of moments i won't explain what the show is about because you got you get a surprise right away in the uh on the show but it was so good and i'm one of those people that all of a sudden you know they get a moment where it's a really emotional moment and I started crying and then the song comes on and they all it's one of those shows that uses covers of songs and it was an old song but they used a cover of it and I was like oh so as I'm crying I'm pulling out my Shazam to try to Shazam the thing. You always send those to me. Watch that show I'm telling you guys watch that show. I thought it just got renewed for a season two. It is so good first off I never seen Harrison Ford in a role like this.

00:10:00 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 3:

before it was so good what's up Kimberly hi first time caller long time listener thank you I sobbed aggressively for like an hour in the Apple store and Apple stores are super busy and because they couldn't back up my cell phone and I needed a new phone and I

00:10:21 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 7:

it was the worst experience I get it that's that's your life right there right there and And did they do the smug thing of saying, you should have had it on the cloud, you know, or something like that?

00:10:34 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 3:

They did do that. And then the guy just kind of stood there and was like, I'm going to give you a minute and then I'll come back. Oh, my God.

00:10:40 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 7:

That's kind of BS. He should have given you comfort and hugged you.

00:10:44 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 3:

I know, right?

00:10:45 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 7:

I'm telling you, I want my guy in that blue shirt to hug me at that moment right there and give me comfort. And I don't know what's worse, a group of people? Like crying in front of a group of people like that Or being the only one in a store and crying And then the employees are looking at you like I don't know what to do right now

00:11:03 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

I mean the Apple stores have like 40 people in them at a time I was a little embarrassed But also just crying

00:11:11 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 7:

Did anybody look at you like strange? Did they think something was weird?

00:11:15 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 3:

Employees, other people

00:11:16 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 7:

Oh yeah, they were talking about the crying lady, weren't they? Yeah, absolutely

00:11:20 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 1:

You'd think they'd be used to it in there because everybody's got storage issues, and I would get sent over the edge, too.

00:11:26 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 7:

Oh, and they tell you what the new iPhone costs. They'll make you cry. What's up, Sydney?

00:11:32 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I've talked to you guys, listened to you guys for a long time. I can't believe I'm on my radio. That's so cool.

00:11:38 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 7:

Oh, it's nice to have you on.

00:11:40 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, when I was in high school, we always did blood drives, and there was this one time I was like, yeah, I'm going to do it. I was scared of needles, but I really wanted to do it. Pipe myself up. Well, the woman ended up telling me it was too tiny to donate blood. And I ended up just falling, crying in front of her. And the poor woman didn't know what to do. She was giving me the cookies.

00:12:05 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 7:

Here, this will make you feel better. We've got something sugary for you to put down your throat. I used to, in high school, we used to do blood drives all the time. And I would only do it for the donuts. That was like the greatest. Oh, my God. Yeah.

00:12:18 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 5:

Picture a nurse in scrubs. Got it? Okay. Now picture a nurse in a windbreaker in boots. Those are scrubs too. Or a suit or a high-vis vest, jeans and a tee, all scrubs. A nurse isn't what they wear, but how they care. The Florida Center for Nursing, recognizing all our state's nurses.
