All right, Mojo of the Morning Show. Megan, how was your weekend? What did you do this weekend?

I had a great weekend. I had a full weekend. I was able to go see one of my favorite podcasts be done live at the Fillmore, which was amazing. And I got the best luck ever while I was there. I feel like I never have good luck. So this is pretty cool for me. And it kind of started with the bad luck, which I was like, man, this feels right. And I sat behind a guy at the Fillmore. Now, at the Fillmore, when there's like a seated event, if you've never been there before, it has like a tiered audience, right? Like there's steps. It's great for concerts where if you have floor seats, you might be sitting in or standing in a section that's elevated from the group above you, like slightly elevated, but maybe like a foot or two. And that's really, really, really convenient. But this was a seated event, which also means there's no elevation between the platforms. So if you're not in the front row of each level, there's no elevation. You're at the same height as everybody else sitting in front of you. And the guy sitting in front of me, I can only describe it as the same size as Dave Bautista, who is the guy from Guardians of the Galaxy. And also, he was a wrestler, right?

It's a big guy.

He was a huge man. And this kid was, I mean, easily seven feet tall, easily, like, I'm bad at weight. He looked like a football player. 350? He wasn't, like, huge, huge, but, like, just, he was a big man. And I could not see, I'm not kidding you, a lick of the stage. from shoulder to shoulder he covered the entire stage and I went all right well I'm used to this being a podcast where I'm cleaning my house I guess I don't have to watch and I walked over to security and I said hey is it gonna be like would it be a problem if I just like stood by the bar in the back of the venue the whole evening like will that be problematic for you or would that be okay did you explain to them why well he then said well why do you want to stand the whole time and I said well the guy in front of me and it's not his fault but like he's just a really big dude and I can't see anything and like if it's not a problem with you I'll just I'll just stand in the back and I'll stay out of everybody's way so I can see and he was like yeah no problem you stand back there like five minutes passes I'm wearing heels and I was like and he walks back over to me and I go oh no he's gonna ask me to go back to my seat this is gonna be a problem all right all right I don't have to watch I don't have he's like hey come with me and he walks me after the show has started with his little flashlight up to the very front dead center where the handicapped seating is which is an open row of seats right by the front of the stage where it was me and a blind woman and i'm dead center and it was the best seats of any show i had ever been to in my entire life that's amazing i can't believe that i had that great luck real

quick you talk to the right person why didn't he just go and ask the blind woman to sit behind

the blind woman was with seeing people oh she had people because i was gonna say like that's

an appropriate seat for her she just has no idea and i took it by myself so it was like do you move

one one person away from their group you know what's funny i can i tell you something i have

been at shows before i think it was wicked one of the last times i went and saw wicked and the mom that was behind me asked if I would switch seats with my wife because her kid could not see over me. Yeah. And so she asked, and then I thought, why don't you just have her switch seats? Why don't you guys switch seats? That's the worst. But the problem is...

the way that their seats were she they technically they were not behind us like they were or behind like it wasn't even so if they she would have switched with him there was another tall guy right next to me yeah so it's basically asked which tall guy to move and so chelsea and i were there so we switched seats yeah which i have to tell you that i'm fine with that the thing i'm not fine with i went to the imagine theater one time and you know how you put your seats all the way recline you recline the seats i had a person that yelled at me because they thought that my reclining was interrupting them being able to walk to go to the bathroom because they couldn't walk past the thing they thought i was way too reclined like because you know you're that's not even

possible because no there's like it's like a fire thing if imagine didn't do that right a fire

hazard it's technically technically if you're not six foot three your legs are popping over the

front end okay i thought the chair was in the way no the chair wasn't the chair wasn't in the way

It was my feet dangling, dangling there.

But to that point where you mentioned, that's one of the things that I dislike about being a parent because you have those situations where you have the perfect vision, but your children don't, and then you have to, of course, you want to see the show too, but you got to make the executive decision to switch with your child.

Remember when you're a kid or when you had a kid, if you're a parent like I am, and you had booster seats where you put the kid up on a booster? They have that where you sit up on a booster. Megan needs that for the Fillmore.

I need that forever. Like that Batista for me.

And then you become Batista for the people behind you.

And listen, it was not his fault, but it's just a terrible situation to be in when you spend that much money and you're like, I can't see anything.

Do you have the right to ask somebody to sit down at a show? I'd love to know this. If you're somebody that's listening and you're kind of a shorter person or if you're somebody that likes to sit during concerts, because people stand a lot. Yeah. And to me, I'm not into staying in the entire show. I think that sometimes during some of the ballads, I like to sit down and I like to rest my legs a little bit. And I hate when I go to games where I went to a game in New York once. And the New York fans, oh, no, I'm sorry, Philadelphia was Philadelphia. Chelsea's dad, I took him to a Philadelphia Phillies game because he's from Philly. And they stay in the entire game. And I'm like, we bought that seat.

I don't think you can say anything at a game or a concert, by the way. At a play, you shouldn't be standing anyway. This happened to us last year.

This happened to us last year at the NFC Championship. Oh, that's right. Whatever game that was, the guys behind us were like, I guess we got to stand the whole time. It's like, you're damn right you got to stand all the time. We're trying to get the number one seat. What do you think is happening right now?

No, because I don't think it's going to work, and I don't want to be labeled that person either. You just got to take this as a win and say this is never going to happen again yeah like i should play

the lottery that night right uh 248 says anytime i bring my son to anything we can't see anything and i that's that is a problem if there's certain places that you gotta they should actually have on the seats where because i know sometimes they'll say i'll see it on there they should say on the seats you know obstructed view if dave batista's you're gonna have a hard time if some

if a big man is sitting in front of you.

One time I went to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field and did not know, if you've never been to Wrigley Field, it's the best thing ever unless you're sitting next to one of the poles. They have poles like random that hold up the second deck there and you're sitting right behind a pole. Like I'm not kidding you, it's right there.

That should not be a seat. There was a big news story about Beyonce's concerts not selling well and I went to Ticketmaster and I started looking at them, which, by the way, is not very accurate. There's one show that they added recently that's got a lot of tickets. But all the other shows, if you look at what's available, they're like $600 limited view seats.

Oh, limited view.

So that's what they listed as, and it means you're sitting behind a pole. And it's still like $600 for a single ticket. What up, Debbie?
