All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. So Megan had something happen to her yesterday that when she was describing it to us, I thought, holy crap, that's kind of scary to think. But then when she fully described it, I thought to myself, I'm like, oh, my God, I've been in that position before. She got stuck. And where did you get stuck?

I got stuck in the car wash, but not even in the car wash, in the line to get a car wash. and it was all one of those okay i don't know if it's like this in grand rapids or in detroit but in toledo it feels like every five and a half seconds a new luxury car wash is opening up it is wild i don't know what kind of business margins they got over there but i should have invested early because i would be a rich rich woman with how quickly these are popping up everywhere well

look at you you got stuck in a car wash because why was the line like hugely no i got stuck in a

car wash because i um essentially am an idiot which is not shocking to anybody but i had pulled up to the machine because it was a machine that you had to put your credit card in pick your car wash and then go in and there's a giant line so i'm waiting and the line starts to clear through and it's not working and i hit the button on the screen and it's not working now i don't know if you know this but apparently for uh retired men the place to be at two o'clock on a monday Is the car wash When I tell you There was a line Of old people behind me Who are not in the mood For me to be stuck There was a line Of old people Who were very mad at me Which I also think It was very rude We all knew That I was having issues And nobody offered To buy my car wash

No because they were All giving me dirty looks Like I looked In my rear view mirror To count the cars Behind me And it was a whole bunch of guys knocking on death's door going, come on, lady, get out of our way.

That does drive me crazy, by the way, when you do go somewhere and a person can't figure out how to actually work something that you know you could figure out.

Right.

And then it just causes for a huge backup in line.

So the whole line in front of me into the car wash has cleared. I'm still stuck behind the barrier. Oh, my anxiety would be up to here. I'm sweating. I'm like screaming on the inside. I don't know what's going on. Nobody's helping me. Nothing's working. It doesn't take cash. Like, literally panic mode is setting in. And an employee had to come out. I was like, hey, ma'am, what seems to be the issue? I'm like, it's not working. And he was like, yeah, you got to flip your card the other way. I was inserting my card in the wrong way to the machine. And everybody was so mad at me. But I say all this. No, you're so dumb. I know. You are really dumb. I know. For real. I know. I say all this because I think single lane drive-thrus, no matter what the business, whether it's car washes, Starbucks, a drive-thru, whatever, should be illegal. Yeah. Because the fact that you get stuck places sometimes is so scary.

My least favorite thing to do is to go to a Tim Hortons or a Starbucks thinking that you have time enough to go get something, only to be stuck behind like four cars that are taking forever to get through.

And you can't get out because there's curbs and nice little bushes on both sides of you.

When I had the Jeep Wrangler, I actually would drive over curbs. I didn't care. If I could, I'd drive over the cars to get to the front of the line.

But I really didn't care. But now that I don't have a car that actually can get over the curves, I actually will stay back there and just sit there and I get sweaty, you know, the whole time thinking about it.

Yeah.

Car washes, though, you're right about car washes. And I cannot figure out exactly what is the story with car washes. My favorite, a texter just texted and says, Megan, the reason why car washes are so popular, if you ever watched Breaking Bad, they're a place for drug laundering. Money laundering.

It is. It's a big money laundering thing.

Well, not all of them, but Breaking Bad.

The other bad thing about car washes, has this ever happened to you where, I don't know why, I have had a lot of experience doing this, but it still screws me up getting your tires onto that thing. And if you get onto it wrong, they make you back up. But everybody behind you has to back up. So you can back up and reconfigure your direction to get onto the thing.

And they're all just a bunch of, according to Megan, angry old white men.

covered and they're out in in in what you what have you ever had that happen to you tara where you get into a drive-thru line and you realize how slow it's going to be and you just want to

get the hell out of there yes and i've literally tried to back out it's too much have you ever done

that where you like tried to get people to back up so they could let you out yes and lady cussed

me all the way out didn't you know that it was gonna be a lie you're impatient i said what is

wrong with you i always sit there and think to myself am i just really impatient or are other people feeling the same way. And then I look at the frustration on people through my rear view mirror. Yeah. Um, well, it's good to talk to you. Good to see you. We got to see you again soon.

Okay. Okay. No problem. I love you. Uh, what's up Megan? Hi guys. Good morning. So funny story. Just the other day with my fiance, we went to the grocery store on our way home. There's tons of construction we realized there was a lane closure so we couldn't turn where we needed so my fiance's like i'll just turn around in the car wash and he goes like all the way to the back of their lap to turn around and then realizes you can't do that so we were forced to get a car wash

to get out of there it's like one way in and one way out you got to go through right yeah yep uh what's up aj it's mojo in the morning hey how are you we're doing all right Megan got stuck in the car wash yesterday, and she couldn't figure out how to get out until she realized she was putting her credit card in wrong.

Oh, gotcha. Yeah, so something happened to me like that, except I was already inside the car wash.

Oh, it stopped on you?

Yep. So you know that machine that, like, is pulling your tires? Yes. It sort of just stopped working. And I was about three-quarters of the way in. Now, the good news is that for me, like, my car was pretty much clean, and i was getting ready to that drying phase um so i could see you know that there's issues going on but the couple cars behind me that all their windows are like you know being washed like the machine still there so they don't know what's going on it was like for eight minutes wow i that

is scary thought to be stuck inside of the thing you know especially the ones that don't have an attendant because that happened to me at that speedway right next door here yeah where all it does is just shoot water out at you but it shoots it like a million miles an hour and you're stuck in there and there's nobody there and there's nobody to call you know you gotta try to hope that somebody at the speedway station notices that there's the same car in the thing for a while

what's up jordan hi what's going on so mine's not a car wash but i was at a self-pay um for my university that i was at and i was trying to leave and of course i had about 10 cars behind me and i forgot my credit card and they don't pay cash and it's a robot and i had to make the whole line of cars back up through this single tiny little line everybody was so mad i was so embarrassed

that's the worst you could do what my friend ashley just did and drive through the gate

No, there's like It's like a big barricade. There is no way of getting around it. And I called for help. Oh, there is. In a minivan. The university didn't come to her over a half hour. It was really embarrassing.

It's amazing because I still wish that they had security video of that going through. Of Ash? You know how the cop shows where the person drives through those? They kind of like race around. What's up, Sam?

So my husband was very sweet and decided to get me like a membership for a new car wash that popped up right down the street from us and um it's like every time we go it's been not working or it's just randomly working so i go one day in the middle of the day i'm like it'll be working sit in a line and i'm in line for at least five minutes and no one's going through and no one is even telling us what's going on so i see people there's like three lanes i see people start backing out i'm going all right i gotta go back to work i'm just going to to back out but at this point i'm like angry because we spent all this money on a membership and i don't ever i can't ever get the car washed because it's always down so the car behind me gives me room and i back out but i was very mad at this point and i like gunned it and i slammed into the post that surrounds the dumpster hit my hatch so my hatch is bent i busted my life and my husband i told my husband

and i'm like that was not a very good plan yeah here you are trying to make your car look better And you end up damaging the thing Oh my god That's the worst By the way, my favorite calls of all this Bianca and Erica are on with us this morning They're driving vehicles That they broke down In the drive-thru Bianca, what happened to you?

So, I was in the checkers line You know, some places where I leave Yeah, checkers And my battery died Oh no No, but the worst part was in the midst of all of this, me and my boyfriend were arguing, and I had to call my ex to come give us a job. No, no, no, no, no. That's when you leave the car behind, walk away, and call a loss. And no, because he called somebody first, and they came with no jumper cables. So at that point, I had to call my ex. So it was just like a real strange situation. I just said it was like my best friend.

Wait, are you still with your boyfriend now?

No, actually, no. Are you with the ex? No. Well, we are still best friends, though.

Oh, my God. So that was in the checkers line. Erica, what happened to you at McDonald's?

So I used to drive this old Aztec, and the gas gauge was broken, so I could never tell how much gas I had in the car, and I had to go by how many gallons I used and how many I put in the last time I got gas. Well, I did not keep track of it very well, and I ran out of gas in the drive-thru at McDonald's.

Were people hating on you?

Oh, yeah. I had to have one of the drive-thru guys had to come out and push my car.

Is it the same guy that brings you your hot fries when you're parked in a parking spot?

Yeah, probably.
