00:00:42 - 00:01:41 | Speaker 4:

And for adults with type 2 diabetes and known heart disease, Jardians can lower the risk of cardiovascular death too. Prescription Jardians, Empagliflozin, 10 or 25 milligram tablets, are used to lower blood sugar along with diet and exercise in adults with type 2 diabetes. Jardians is not for use to lower blood sugar in people with type 1 diabetes and not for people with type 2 diabetes who have severe kidney disease. Severe allergic reactions, dehydration, urinary tract or genital yeast infections in men and women and low blood sugar. Stop taking and tell your doctor right away if you have nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, rash, swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing. All right, Mojo on the morning show.

00:01:47 - 00:01:50 | Speaker 5:

So, Megan, what's the story with you and the boss, Tony?

00:01:51 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, the amount of disrespect that Tony shows me on a regular, can you hear me right now?

00:01:57 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 5:

Tony is not on the phone. Do you want me to call him real quick?

00:01:59 - 00:02:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Well, I just need him to know how disrespectful he is.

00:02:03 - 00:02:08 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Do you want him to hear this? Well, you know he's always listening. It's fine.

00:02:08 - 00:02:09 | Speaker 2:

We'll fight. It's fine.

00:02:09 - 00:02:12 | Speaker 5:

He's probably stuck in traffic right now on 96 as we speak.

00:02:12 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm glad. That makes me happy.

00:02:15 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 5:

Do you hope he stays there for a while?

00:02:17 - 00:02:17 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:02:17 - 00:02:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. I hope he has a miserable day.

00:02:20 - 00:02:20 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:02:21 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Because I had one of those days yesterday. you ever have one of those days where like all you're doing is running from place to place to place yes all I had was meetings all day yesterday we had a really long morning show meeting I had a meeting for the YWCA which is the the women's shelter here in Toledo we were doing some stuff for that and during that meeting for the women's shelter um I I had a question because it had to do with like research and stuff and I was like you know who knows about this our boss Tony because he does this for his job so you know he's a brain I'd like to pick for a few minutes so I send him a text message. I said, hey, I'm getting out of this meeting around like 515. Are you busy? Can I shoot you a call? I've got a really quick question about research. And he texted me back and he's like, yeah, sure. No problem. I'll be available. Just call me when you can. So shooting my call. It gets declined. He goes, hey, I'm stuck in a meeting that ran over. I was like, cool. No problem. Call me when you're done. Because I had been running around all day, I ran into get some dinner. So I picked up some dinner. I got in my car. He hasn't called me yet. All right, that's fine I start driving home he still hasn't called me I pull up into my driveway and I go if I go inside my dog's gonna go crazy I really want to eat and I'm waiting for this phone call my dog will just bark the whole time I'll just I'll eat in my car and I'll wait for him to give me a call back and I can like eat in peace it had been a really long day this was like some me time so I open up tiktok and I'm scrolling through I'm eating my dinner whatever literally sitting in my car in the driveway and eventually I look up and I realize it's been an hour and a half and my boss still hasn't called me back because that man is going to lie to you and say he got caught up in a meeting and that is false false false information. Hold on Tony Travato. He forgot

00:04:04 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 5:

about me. He forgot. Tony equal opportunity here you cannot be disparaged on this one you could call your attorneys and file a lawsuit against her but what did you want to say to this Tony?

00:04:16 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 1:

I'm playing the violin right now for you, Megan. I was in a meeting until 7 o'clock, and then I called you. Actually, I don't remember exactly what time, but I called you, and you sent me on the first ring to voicemail.

00:04:34 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 6:

You showed me.

00:04:38 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 2:

So, fun fact, this is also when Shrimpgate was happening with the TikTok, So I was in the bathroom.

00:04:47 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no.

00:04:48 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

We were not getting picked up. But also, after your two-hour window, I'm done with you because I'm only going to pick up the phone and curse at you. So I think he's lying. I'd like to put him on a lie detector test because I don't think he's lying.

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 9:

He was on a phone call meeting until 7 o'clock at night on the East Coast. I think that's a malarkey.

00:05:04 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 6:

I mean, anytime any of us are trying to grab Tony here in the office, I mean, this guy is on meetings, I think, 18 hours a day. Live meetings, phone meetings, Zoom chats. He's always in a meeting. But the funny part is at the beginning of this conversation, as soon as Megan started bringing it up, I thought, oh, boy, here we go again. Megan will always complain about somebody not reaching out to her, and we always find out the same result. She didn't read her texts or her emails. She always complains. I didn't get this. And then we find out she was on it. She just has 13,000 unopened emails.

00:05:35 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 9:

I mean, I was on my phone. I could see he wasn't calling.

00:05:38 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 7:

Tony, just be happy that you're added to the list of people that Megan hates. Just know that.

00:05:46 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 2:

It's become quite the honor, actually.

00:05:48 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, it is.

00:05:49 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Good company.

00:05:50 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 7:

It is very, very good company. What was it that you wanted to talk to him about? You can talk about it right now in front of all of us and the listeners.

00:05:57 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 9:

Oh, it's very exciting stuff. We need research and development Done on a project that we're working on And I know that Tony has done research For our morning show before And I just didn't know what expectations On responses were like Riveting information Really?

00:06:14 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I was going to say That sounds like such BS

00:06:17 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 9:

We're doing a capital campaign and we need research done I was like, the only person I know who does research Is Tony

00:06:22 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 7:

Look at you, hoity-toity We're doing research I'm not doing it Word is not really radio, people. We do research on a capital campaign. What is a capital campaign? To get money.

00:06:34 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 9:

We're raising funds for their building renovations. Oh, okay. For the human shelter here is later.

00:06:38 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 7:

I'm sitting here going, the whole time I'm going, Megan's talking, like, really smart stuff right now.

00:06:44 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 6:

It's very honorable and great work she's doing. And it's amazing.

00:06:47 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 8:

That's the smartest thing I've ever heard anyone say about anything. The bar for me truly is solo. I have a college degree.

00:06:57 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 6:

So to recap, you were disappointed that the executive vice president of programming for the largest media company in the United States didn't immediately drop his work to help you with your after work thing.

00:07:12 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 9:

No, but I love that you're trying to twist this to make me the bad guy, because what happened was I sent him a text asking if he was available. He said yes. I called him he wasn't, and then he ignored me for hours. How am I the bad guy?

00:07:25 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 6:

That detail was left out.

00:07:26 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 9:

No, it wasn't. I said, I texted him during the meeting. Can I call him? And he said, sure. And then I called him. I didn't know he said it right away. And he said he was busy.

00:07:34 - 00:07:35 | Unknown:

That's right.

00:07:35 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 9:

So how am I the bad guy, Spike?

00:07:37 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 6:

Tony, the defendant, do you have words for why you did tell her to call and then you didn't answer your phone?

00:07:42 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't really. But what I was going to say about your research project is we're just going to do like all other research projects on this, Megan. We'll just make up the data and present it to say whatever you want it to say.

00:07:57 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 9:

Beautiful. That's what I like to hear. That is what I like to hear.

00:08:00 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 2:

There you go.

00:08:01 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 7:

Done. I think it's wonderful. I think that this is good. We got you guys back to talking to each other, and you guys are...

00:08:07 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 4:

Now we can do what we do for, like, War of the Roses and say, we're going to let you guys talk off the air about this research, whatever. How you doing? Okay?

00:08:17 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 5:

Then we can check it off your list, and you both are happy.

00:08:19 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. A lot of poor hiring decisions made by management led to this show, which explains Megan for sure. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:08:28 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 5:
