Mojo in the Morning Show. So tell us the story of the folding chair.

00:02:24 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so every once in a while, I see people, and they're complete strangers, and I go,

00:02:31 - 00:02:32 | Unknown:

you're my kind of people.

00:02:33 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 7:

I wish we were friends. And this actually just happened. So I was driving down, oh, I don't even know where I was, the airport highway maybe? And there's a section at the airport where it's kind of residential, because if you're from Toledo, you know it's like a busy road that kind of goes through neighborhoods and then turns back into like a busy road again. And I was in the neighborhood part and I saw like four squad cars. It was like four of them. And there was a red light. And I was like, oh, hell yeah. Cannot wait to go see what's going on over here because I have a severe case of what is called, I believe, rubber neck syndrome, where if there are flashing lights, I'm going to try to find out what's going on. And this was so upsetting, right, because it kind of seems like all the drama was over. There's a whole bunch of cops in the front yard, and there was, like, one lady crying, and I created an entire backstory for her, but a lot of people were just standing around and filling out paperwork, and I was like, oh, boo, but then I saw the people that I were like, my people, and those were the ones sitting across the street in the lawn chairs that you take to your kids' soccer games with snacks and drinks, watching the entire event play out in the neighbor's front yard. and they were all just very blatantly sitting discussing taking photos and i went yes i love you petty bitches but i just i found people that i was like you i talk about all the time being a nosy person i have a hard time actually being nosy there's something inside of me and i guess my dad maybe raised me in a way where it was like, we don't stare at other people. It's not our business. Move on. But inherently inside of me is I have to know what's going on. And these people just didn't care anymore. They wanted to know. Front row. Right?

00:04:27 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Don't you love those though? Honestly, I am the person that doesn't run away from arguing or doesn't... You run away from

00:04:37 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 7:

arguing? You're so non-confrontational. No, I'm

00:04:39 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 4:

No, not confrontational if I'm in the argument. But if I'm watching the argument, I sit there and watch it. Or if I see an accident, I'm like the person.

00:04:47 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 7:

Oh, that's different. Yeah.

00:04:48 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

But I like. You like to be the eyewitness. Yes. So these people are the type of people, though, Megan, that are the type of people that just like to enjoy the moment. Is that what you're saying?

00:04:59 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely.

00:05:00 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 4:

And you know what? I feel like we should fold to that desire more often in public and just be nosy and snoop.

00:05:08 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. What's the best thing that you've ever just snooped upon? Like, what's the best thing that you've ever had that opportunity to just kind of like sit there and witness? I'll never forget in our last neighborhood, we had neighbors that used to fight all the time. And I would open up the windows and Chelsea would be like, why do you have the windows open? We have the air conditioning on. And I'm like, shh, shh, shh, shh. I think I can hear them. And you know what I mean? And you just sit there and you go, this is great. And for some reason, you would enjoy watching and seeing what's going on.

00:05:43 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever put a cup to the wall of a hotel room when you hear an argument? Absolutely. Oh, I thought you were going to say some other activities. No, oh, no. See, I don't want to hear that. I don't want to hear that. No. But if you know an intense fight is happening, I'm like, what are you doing? Oh, yeah. We're eating over.

00:05:58 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. No, there are moments where we go on a family vacation, and the family in the room next to me is more of my family because I'm spending more time listening to what they're doing and seeing what they're all about. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. We're looking for nosy bitches. Do we have any nosy bitches that are listening to the show? And you guys can be nosy bitches, too. Are you the type of people that like to sit there and watch this stuff? I enjoy it. I don't know. So do you feel like, Megan, you need to get one of those folding chairs and just put it in the back of your Jeep?

00:06:40 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I think I would. Because next time I would love to be like, got room for one more? Who's going to toss me a brewski? Let's do that. Get the ones with the cup holders. Let's crack open a cold one and discuss.

00:06:55 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 7:

Do you think that this is because of the fact that we grew up watching shows like Cops? Yes.

00:07:02 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely.

00:07:05 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 7:

When you guys see flashing lights, if you're driving down the street and you see flashing lights down one street, do you turn down to go see what's going on with the flashing lights?

00:07:11 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 1:

No, but I go really slow past that intersection just to see what it is. That's human nature, though.

00:07:19 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Savannah? Oh, I got to push the button down. Sorry, Savannah. Hi.

00:07:25 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:07:26 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 7:

What's going on?

00:07:28 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 2:

There's a couple Facebook groups on Facebook, and they're called Nosy Ass of Toledo, Ohio.

00:07:34 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 1:

Really? Oh, my gosh. That's great.

00:07:38 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 2:

Everything on there, like from people cheating to accidents to all kinds of stuff.

00:07:44 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 7:

Wait, what was that scream in the background?

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my kids.

00:07:48 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay. I thought it was somebody like you're actually happening upon and witnessing. That's great. Yeah. And have you ever seen any of your neighbors on this or people that are close enough to you?

00:08:02 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 2:

I haven't seen people that I actually know, but I've heard about it like that, like, oh, down the street from where I live. This is happening. Oh, that's great.

00:08:11 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

So I really appreciate you telling me about this. I just requested to join that group. So if there's any admins listening right now, go.

00:08:20 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 7:

Amber, what's going on?

00:08:22 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 5:

So there are no nosier ass ditches Than military wise Those ditches be flippin' nosy As all hells Really? Like anything So they be flippin' through their flies They'll take their vacuum out Onto their grass And vacuum their grass When they see something going on

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 7:

Really?

00:08:44 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 5:

You're taking your trash out Oh, what's in there? They nosy

00:08:47 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 7:

So when you are living on base Is it because you guys are like

00:08:51 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 5:

you know close together with the homes girl if we were any closer we'd be all sleeping in the same

00:08:58 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 6:

bed kelsey what's going on hi yeah so adding to the military wife thing so when me and my husband were living with another couple they fought all the time and i always would kind of you know snoop and eavesdrop and one night it was like middle of winter like 12 a.m. and they were fighting and she thought he was cheating on her so she took his computer and chucked it out into the snow and and so it sat in the snow all night and then we had a puppy so when i let the puppy out the next morning my puppy went and peed on his computer oh my god it lasted till the next

00:09:48 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 7:

morning i don't think that it probably lasted through the cold very well no yeah nope yep uh brenda where is it that you find yourself always sticking around to see uh what's going on

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 4:

brenda oh hi hi oh she was like she was like listening to something at that moment what's

00:10:09 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 6:

going on so at my parents house before i moved there we had a set of neighbors right next to us that would be so loud at three o'clock in the morning that will wake me up so i will go into my bathroom because i live on the top floor and open it wide open and just listen to them while they're yelling at each other at 3 o'clock in the morning.

00:10:29 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 4:

What's the craziest thing you ever heard them yelling about?

00:10:32 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man. I think they're yelling about whose dog is who. And they're like, no, that's my dog. And the person's like, no, that's my dog. He's just hands off my dog.

00:10:42 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God.

00:10:42 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 6:

And I'm like, for 3 in the morning, come on.

00:10:45 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God. Megan, you just got into that Facebook group. Oh, my gosh, I'm dying. It's so good.

00:10:52 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 6:

Appreciate all the admins that listen to Mojo in the morning. You the real MVPs. Oh, my God, that's so good.

00:10:59 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 4:

You know what the best thing for being nosy is? Debbie?

00:11:05 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

00:11:06 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 4:

What's the best thing for being nosy?

00:11:09 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 5:

When you want to be incognito nosy, you watch live from your ring camera inside your house. Exactly.

00:11:16 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

I want one so bad just for that reason.

00:11:19 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 5:

I was sitting there for 45 minutes straight watching all the drama on my street go down. Oh, gosh.

00:11:23 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 4:

And the audio is perfect, too. You can listen to everything, right?

00:11:27 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and you can go back and review if you didn't, like, hear everything right the first time. So what happened again?

00:11:35 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 4:

By the way, is this bad, on a totally different note, that any time I've ever been out to, like, a bar or club-ish type place, you always go by the women's restroom slower just to hear them and what they're talking about in the women's restroom. and sometimes you'll hear them argue and yell and you'll hear like stuff going on but that's where I become like a nosy bitch. And my favorite is with our station here our women's restroom is right butt up against yours. We can, by the way

00:12:06 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 1:

I can hear everything you guys talk about in the guy's house. Same with ours. Okay. Like those walls are thin. I can hear you peeing. When we go in at the same time, yes absolutely 100%.

00:12:18 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god. I've never had a fear of going to that bathroom, and now I do.

00:12:22 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yes. My favorite day of the week is, what is it, Monday's sales day when all the sales department's here? Yeah. Go in there, you can hear everything that they're all talking about. Yeah.

00:12:32 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, they're not quiet either. No.

00:12:34 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 4:

They're definitely not quiet. Alright, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan, anything interesting, you'll have to tell us about it and send us some pictures

00:12:42 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 6:

of it, okay? It's been hard to pay attention to the rest of this conversation, I'm not gonna lie. We'll share it.

00:12:47 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 3:
