Megan having a baby, the possibilities are getting closer and closer. Now, we have talked in the past about you with children and we have said some things where I feel like you'll be a great mom and then you go out and say, F them babies. And I don't know necessarily if that's a great thing to say, but there are a lot of moms that have had children that go, F them babies all the time about their kids.

To be fair, I don't feel like a lot of people have a slogan, but I do, and I pride myself on that. It's an amazing slogan, yes.

So what's the latest on this one? What's the breaking news?

So I'm wondering if I'm going to regret that slogan because you're right. I have been known to say F them babies quite a few times on this program. But I have talked about before wanting to freeze my eggs. And I was doing a little bit of wine drinking and Googling last night. And I started to book an appointment to start freezing my eggs. This is the next step in the plan. And as I was doing it, I was realizing I'm a little afraid of our listeners. because as I was going to book this appointment, I thought if I ever have a child with how much I have talked about not wanting children, I'm afraid the backlash would be too large for me to actually handle. And I'm kind of terrified of our listeners at this point because I'm truly not sure if I want to have kids. I am getting to the point where I have to start making decisions because if I don't have kids soon, the probability of me having them goes down very quickly, right? And so, I don't know. It's a big investment. But as I was booking, I was more scared of our listeners than actually doing the procedure. And the procedure is physically exhausting. It is.

My friend just did it.

Yeah. Yeah.

Still more scared of our listeners. What do you mean scared? Everybody's allowed to change their mind. Everybody evolves. I mean, if people are going to hate on you, that's just so silly to me.

It does blow my mind because you and I have had late night talks boost up a little bit on each end about this. And you're like, there's no way I would ever, ever, ever, ever in a million years have kids.

So here's my whole thing. I've said this before, but I feel like people do miss this. If today was the last day I could have kids, the answer would be no. But ask me again in five years and it might be a different answer, right? I could be in a different place. I also started on this show when I was 18, right? I started here and I had much different views than I do now. I also think it's not necessarily that I want to be a mom that has changed. It might be the fact that I'm panicking, that I'm running out of time. I'm at this weird stage in my life where it's like either, you know, do your business or get off the pot.

Okay. So why do you feel like you're worried about what the listeners are going to say?

Because with how much I've talked about not wanting to be a mom, could you imagine if If I was pregnant, how many people would not let that go for the rest of my life?

Yeah. And you know what? And listeners, by the way, are not verbal listeners. It's the nonverbal social media, you know, hacks.

they are very mean to megan um and in quite quite honest with you i'd much rather those never listen to us ever again and us not have a listener if that's the case um but i love that

people are texting you always say f them babies f them listeners that's right i like that so true

but they'll bring up something i said when i was 20 and be like well when you were 20 you said this you can't do it again i'm like that was 10 years ago yeah you can change listen i said i was never

the day this is just financially uh a sound decision for me not up front because i can't afford this but i'm thinking long term i can sell these right if it doesn't work out i never knew that i can you really i can maybe somebody somebody tells yeah yeah no that's that's

wanted to tell megan um completely feel the same um when i was younger i had that opinion where i was like oh you know i'm never gonna have kids you know f kids that's this and now i'm older and I'm married and come to find out I can't have kids so it's okay to change your mind don't be afraid don't let anybody offend you it is totally okay to change your mind I did the same thing but unfortunately for me it's not in the cards but I have three amazing stepchildren that are just a huge blessing so don't be afraid to go for what you want yeah I think the scary part is I don't

even know if I changed my mind like I just don't want to be left without the option and I think I am way more interested in having kids by myself than I am with anybody else. And I feel like in the past, I was like, you have to find a partner. You have to do this with somebody. And now I'm in the position where I'm like, no, I don't.

But it's kind of like an insurance plan. Like you said, it gives you the option if you want to do that.

Right. Exactly. Can I tell you why this upsets me? Why you say it, Mike? Because nobody knows this. And we've never talked about it. But Megan knows the name of, of my daughter. Wait, Megan make knows the name because of, of, of, if you give birth to a daughter, if it's a girl, she knows she's the only person that knows the name because in a, in a podcast a while ago, we were discussing baby names and my wife and I have a baby name set, right? We for, for a girl, but not for a boy, but not for a boy. So then we talk, Megan and I talk about it in the podcast, and then she says the name that she would name her child if she was going to have a child, and it happens to be that exact same name. So then I go to Megan, and my wife and I, I think it was during Lydia's party, we go to Megan and go, hey, we want to talk to you first. You're a friend. You're close. I know you don't know this, but we've really liked this name, and we want to use it. It has nothing to do with what you said in the podcast. We thought about this way before. And she's like, don't worry, I'm never going to have kids anyway. Oh, so you're worried. Well, now I'm a jerk if we have a girl and we name it this name. And Megan's all of a sudden decided now she wants to have babies. You told me you were not having babies.

That is true. But also, nobody can say that I can't keep a secret because I keep secrets. That's amazing.

By the way, and what's wrong with Megan also having a girl and naming it the same name? Then you guys will be, like, really partners. I'm okay with that, but I feel like... But you have to do... It's like thing one, thing two. Megan, you'd have to be baby name two.

Yeah. I mean, I am the youngest of 58 cousins, so all of the baby names I want... That's still so crazy to me. All of the baby names I want are gone.

Good morning, guys. I was going to not try to convince Megan, but as my little one is screaming in the back, she's probably not wanting to have kids right now. I've never wanted my own kids. I always wanted to adopt in my 40s. And now I'm a mom with five kids. So you're never ready having a baby. Even when you're pregnant, you think you're never ready. It just comes naturally once the baby is born.

I'm going to say, Megan, you do what you want to do. Who cares what everybody else thinks? You do what you want to do, boo.

And you know what, Sandy? This thing, Megan has always done that way. Megan has never listened to anything any of us have ever said. So why start now, right?

No, never. I follow you guys on social media. And these people who go on there and just make rude remarks, why bother?

Well, because they have nothing else to do with their lives.

Great question. But I would never listen to anybody on this show in their opinion. You know, the people that are close to me. But people who I've never met before, their opinion on the Internet matters. way more and has a lasting effect on my own mental health because that's rational. Honey, you need to just stay off it then.

You told me you weren't going to have a baby. Oh, here you go. This is a crazy world. We live in my beer.

Hey, Megan, or it was you. I totally wouldn't babysit. I didn't like kids. I thought they were gross. They would make me gag. And then suddenly, years later, I found myself the mom of two boys and became like the house where everybody goes. And so, and all my friends laughed at me when I was pregnant. They thought I was joking. So, you know what? Whatever you decide in your life, it's going to be absolutely fine. And, you know, don't listen to any of the haters. And you're the woman's prerogative to change her mind.
