Ladies and gentlemen. Mojo in the morning. Mojo in the morning.

00:01:53 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 6:

and now back to mojo in the morning mojo in the morning show so listen to uh to megan here um

00:02:00 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 4:

megan got criticized for her tattoo well tattoos that i am looking to get so i went out to um dinner and our server had a very very cool um tattoo now to be clear i think a lot of my tattoos that i want to get are very different in style um so like my sleeve that i have already started working on i wanted to look like the illustrations that were in the books that i read as kids so all the stuff that i'm getting is by a girl here in toledo who does stuff like that and she is phenomenal and i love her but there are other kinds of tattoos that i want as well so i'm always kind of looking for artists that would fit those styles so um one of the tattoos i really want to get i don't know if i want to i'll tell you i really want to get a a statue blowing a bubble like a gum bubble okay what kind of statue just like a like a bust of somebody oh okay getting that like blowing a bubble uh-huh and um does that relate to a book or that's just one like a design you want just a design that i want okay um and i saw this server our server had a really really cool like portrait almost looked like david kind of statuesque tattoo and i said oh my god please tell me who did that tattoo that's exactly what i am like looking for and it spurred everybody at the table to be like well what other tattoos do you want and i love talking about tattoos and ideas and creativity so i said well good news i've got pinterest boards and uh files set up on my phone just stocked full of different um inspirational tattoos that i want to get like this is my jam like i i let's talk about it and every single one that i brought up somebody had a critique about and to me tattoos are like baby names we only say we really don't like them when they're gonna harm somebody right like if you try to name your kid diesel i'm gonna say diesel is a weasel like it's the first thing that comes to my head i feel for that kid right but if you want to name your kid uh i don't know jonathan whatever bland name and i don't like it i'm not going to tell you that like there are just things that we don't cross why would you cross this with tattoo That's a good point.

00:04:12 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 6:

So people are very opinionated when it comes to, like you said, baby names, but also tattoos. They will tell you what they think of your tattoo?

00:04:20 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 4:

Yes, all of the time. And you know who's the worst at it? Other tattoo artists. So I have friends that are tattoo artists, and they'll be like, let me see it. And then they'll just get quiet. I'm like, don't get quiet.

00:04:30 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 6:

Well, quiet is not really giving their opinion. Oh, yes, it is. Yes, it is. That is major distaste. Yeah, there's a lot in silence.

00:04:38 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:04:38 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 6:

Really? They can't even think of anything to say, so they're just shutting up. So even if they're just, you know, giving you the I'm not going to say anything type thing, that actually passes a judgment to you.

00:04:49 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 4:

That's a big no. Silence is hatred. Lie to me. Lie. It's okay. Lie.

00:04:55 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

I'll be honest with you. I wanted to give you my opinion on what you were talking about, about the blowing up the bubble.

00:05:00 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 2:

thing i wanted to do that but i wanted to do it in a way of i think you should make it look like sexy and not like little kitty like i don't think like it should look it should have a little bit of like a cool sex appeal to it and not looking like a little kid blowing a bubble megan do you

00:05:15 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 3:

know what i'm talking about when i say the singing busts at the haunted mansion at walt disney world yeah that's exactly what i picture in my head here let me show you do you ever worry when you're

00:05:24 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 2:

getting a tattoo because i'm not a tattoo person but do you ever worry what the tattoo is going to look like on you when you're like a 70 year old woman no because guess what everybody's like

00:05:34 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 4:

you don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley all right let me give you a little uh fun fact about what I am I'm not a Bentley I am a Honda Civic who's on his left leg he's got 170,000 miles on it you know what sometimes sometimes it's nice to have a bumper sticker sometimes you need new rims. Sometimes you need a sound system. It's nice. I do

00:05:57 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

by the way love that. That's a great analogy of you do not put a bumper sticker on a really, really nice car so why are you doing this on this beautiful canvas of a woman here? At least you're the sport edition. That's right. She's the EV or whatever it is. With the spoiler. You're the ones that they drive in the Fast and the Furious. Oh yeah. Oh, she sent it to us? Yeah. Let me look. Let's see. Yeah, okay. What's the next topic we're talking about here? You're not a fan? You know, I love Megan, and I think, Megan, you go, girl. That's so disrespectful. He said, do you. Do you.

00:06:40 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

That's just as, that's the helpful I was talking about. Like, that's helpful.

00:06:44 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 2:

No, it's, honestly, I think it's beautiful. No, you don't. I think you should also put the frame around it, too. You should have the frame, like, in the picture.

00:06:51 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 4:

It's actually so annoying. This is what I'm talking about.

00:06:54 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 2:

What do you think about it?

00:06:55 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 4:

See, I actually really like it.

00:06:57 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 2:

Really? Okay. Kev, you're going to be nice. Where are you getting it?

00:07:00 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 4:

I wanted to get it on the back of my arm.

00:07:03 - 00:07:03 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:07:03 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 3:

But the other arm, right? Not the one that you're doing all the- Correct.

00:07:06 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 4:

Because it's not the same style. How big are you going to get it? Probably like five or six inches tall.

00:07:13 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 2:

I'm with it. Liz, what do you want to say about what Megan's talking about here? About how to keep your mouth shut when somebody talks about their tattoos.

00:07:21 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 1:

All I say to people when they have something negative to say to me is, good thing it's my body, not theirs.

00:07:27 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 2:

There you go. That's a good one. It is Megan's body. She wants to put this thing on her.

00:07:33 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 4:

I know you're trying to be funny, but you're actually making me very angry.

00:07:38 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 2:

I'll be honest with you. I think that maybe a T-shirt might be a good idea. What do you think of that?

00:07:44 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 4:

What? Were you getting a tattoo of a T-shirt? Wearing a T-shirt?

00:07:48 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 2:

No, no. Get that image on a T-shirt? What are those machines that people get that print on T-shirts?

00:07:54 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 3:

You're thinking of a cricket, but that's more like words.

00:07:57 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? You can't do pictures on that? I don't know. I've only printed on words. Because I was going to say, I'm going to buy Megan a cricket, and she can go get herself this on a T-shirt. I'm joking with you, Megan. I'm just trying to push your buttons. I like it. It's beautiful. I actually do like it.

00:08:08 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Is it going to be pink like that, too? It's 9 a... Oh, God, no. I hate pink. Black and gray tattoos all the way. I love that on 9 a.m. on a Friday, you were like, you know what I'm going to do? Ruin Megan's day.

00:08:20 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to grind your gears. What's up, Amanda?

00:08:27 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So I once went to get a tattoo, and afterwards me and my friend got dinner, and while we were at dinner, Fresh Tattoo, the waitress, was like, oh, that's really great. I do tattoos too. And then she asked me, how much did you pay for it? And I told her, and she was like, I could have done it cheaper in my kitchen. And I'm like, thanks. Wow.

00:08:48 - 00:08:49 | Unknown:

I don't want a kitchen tattoo. Yeah.

00:08:51 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 2:

Did you tell her also that you're not giving her 20% as a tip?

00:08:56 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 6:

No, I still tipped her because I just, like, feel guilty. But she was kind of like, I don't know. I don't think it was worth that much. I'm like, I do.

00:09:05 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Andrea, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:09:08 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So I have a back piece that people warned me about getting before I got it. But I had to get it. And it is so bad. it looks so horrible that I have started telling people that my toddler drew it so they don't judge me. Oh, what is it of? So it's supposed to look like my skin's being ripped open and there's like blue skies underneath and birds supposed to look like realistic. It doesn't at all. It looks so bad and it's way too big to cover up. So I just say that my daughter drew it. Some people think

00:09:40 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 2:

And they go from cringing to, oh, that's so nice.

00:09:45 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the guilt just sets in right away.

00:09:48 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. By the way, speaking of toddlers, I saw a listener of ours with an unbelievable tattoo. Shannon, you can steal this if you want to do it. She had her children.

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 5:

when they were little write love you mommy and then sign their name and then her kids now are teenagers had them do it again.

00:10:09 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:

So I talked about this. I talked about that is a tattoo that I want. I don't want to have them do it again but I need Smith to be maybe like another year older because right now his handwriting is like this big. But I really want them both to just sign their name and have that tattooed. Can you do it on the bottom of your feet like Woody in Toy Story?

00:10:27 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh. Megan, don't pass judgment on this one.

00:10:38 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 5:

I know you say no judgments on tattoos, but Erin, what did you get tattooed on you?

00:10:43 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 7:

A Big Mac. That is actually absolutely amazing. Really?

00:10:49 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 5:

Like the Big Mac? I love it. The actual sandwich or the actual box with the sandwich?

00:10:55 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 7:

No, it's just a sandwich. So it kind of looks like a burger, but if you ask, it's a Big Mac.

00:10:59 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 5:

But it's a Big Mac. There you go. It's got the special sauce with it, right?

00:11:03 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I love it.

00:11:04 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 5:

And where on your body is it? Or can we say?

00:11:07 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 7:

It's on my legs. But I have like a whole sleeve of traditional stuff, so you can't even tell if you walk by me.

00:11:13 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 5:

Is it a talking piece for guys? Do they love it?

00:11:17 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 7:

No. It's mostly dirty looks.

00:11:18 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 5:

Do they?

00:11:20 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 6:

Guys would be into a Big Mac. Can I solicit right now? Yeah. If you're a listener out there, and especially the one with the Big Mac, if you're on Instagram, please take a picture and tag them on general. Yes, I want to see

00:11:32 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 2:

the tattoo. I want to see the back

00:11:34 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 5:

open line. Send us the tattoo that got you the weird looks.

00:11:38 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 4:
