What Megan did last night might be the rudest and crudest thing that you could possibly ever do. If you're somebody in the service industry, listen up. Although I think we're doing this at a time that service industry people might be fast asleep. But go ahead. What did you do?

So I was on my way home last night, and it was that awkward time of night where everything starts closing, but I haven't eaten all day. So I'm, like, very, very hungry, and I'm trying to figure out something to eat. other than fast food and I was trying to order on apps like on my way home so I could just swing by and pick it up and every time I would open an app it was like this location is no longer accepting online orders because it was too close to their closing time where they wouldn't accept any orders and I did that at so many locations and was thinking well they close in 10 minutes By the time I get there, they'll still be open for five minutes. And I pulled into a restaurant five minutes before they closed. Now, it was not a sit-down restaurant, all right? I want to make it very clear. I worked in the food service industry, and we had people that would walk in two minutes before door lock, and you have to give them full dinner service. If they are in the doors before close, they get full dinner service no matter how long it takes. This was a, I ordered at the counter. I picked it up, and I left the restaurant. A carryout place. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I still got there five minutes before they closed, and I felt like the biggest a-hole. But I was so hungry, and everything was closing. Yeah.

My favorite in those working at a restaurant like that, you'd always have those people come in last minute, and they would go, what time do you close? And you'd be like, five minutes from now. And they would go, oh, okay, cool, cool, but we still have time. And you'd be like, ooh. You'd want to spit in their food. You don't, but you want to.

Well, it's not even that. I always get really, and Megan, I've been in that situation so many times, but I always feel like they're like scraping the bottle of the bean container for your food. Do you know what I mean? It's such a risky move to even eat food when it's five minutes to close because they've probably already cleaned almost everything up.

Probably. And they close at nine. I walked in the doors at 8.55.

If I waited until I got home because I was still a half hour from my apartment, I still had to cook rice, which was going to take 40 minutes and cook chicken. I would have eaten at 10-15 last night.
