It's Mojo in the Morning. Mojo, Spike, Shannon, Mike, and Megan is back today. Megan, you were gone yesterday. You were missed. People were like, where's Megan?

00:02:30 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 3:

Was I?

00:02:30 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 5:

Did she survive? Yes, actually, you were. Believe it or not.

00:02:33 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 3:

Last year.

00:02:34 - 00:02:36 | Speaker 5:

Go back and, isn't it nice to know that? You're back.

00:02:37 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 3:

That is what I deserve and what I thought happened.

00:02:39 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 5:

but you uh you did listen to the show which i found interesting i'm gonna talk about that coming up uh in a few because you gave me the critique of the radio show yesterday i did you did yes i told you what i didn't like yeah she gave me the critique and the stuff that she didn't like

00:02:58 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 3:

i was like oh thank you very much i appreciate that i literally never ever listen to the show when i'm out but yesterday i was on the road yeah and i like talk shows like i listen to podcasts some other shows all the time so i was like well i guess i'll just listen today i'm not sleeping in

00:03:13 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 5:

bed oh my god and you experienced what our listeners have been experiencing too on that freaking crazy app that we have where for some reason it was making you listen to uh katie perry

00:03:25 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 3:

i get it and to everybody who listens on the iheart radio app i started screaming yesterday and i started emailing people i i'm so sorry you go through that that's terrible

00:03:39 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, for some reason, listeners that are on the iHeartRadio app will tell us, I keep hearing Katy Perry, TGIF, and what's the other song?

00:03:47 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 3:

Demi Lovato Confident was going over and over and over and over. So random.

00:03:51 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 5:

It's very random that they play. And it's like, can we change it up? And the reason that that happens is because when we go into commercial breaks, for some reason, it's so stupid, but they won't let you play the commercial breaks because the people that do the commercials want to get paid more for being on that. They should just get paid for their spot airing on a radio show. You know what I mean? But long story short, they have to do that. And the song selection is not the greatest selection. And I would like to see if there's any way that we can have the rotation be a little bit more vast. I mean, do we need to have the rotation be that? I would almost rather have it be... Hi, thanks for holding on to the Mojo in the Morning Show. We will be back in just a moment. You know what I mean? Wouldn't you rather listen to that? Do you guys ever, whenever you call places, I think Apple does this, it will let you pick what you want to hear. It will either let you go silent with nothing, or it lets you pick whatever the genre of music is. I would love if you could do that with the iHeartRadio app.

00:04:55 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:04:55 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 5:

Where you could pick, you know.

00:04:57 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 1:

If you wanted to hear country.

00:04:59 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

I'd like to hear.

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 3:

I'd like to hear Spike snoring.

00:05:04 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 1:

You're looking at this the wrong way. You've got to have bad songs so that they can't wait for Mojo in the morning to come back. We sound so much better.

00:05:13 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 3:

Are you saying Katy Perry and Demi Lovato are bad songs? I'm saying it's the same song over and over again. Any song's bad when you hear it 30 times. But you're not wrong. But all right. Well, she's back. She's back. She's back. and we're going to start off with talking about you this morning because Megan was drinking like a fish this weekend.

00:05:36 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 2:

I think I've had like 24 ounces of water the past five days. I'm dehydrated. If you ever watch like Doctor Who, I'm that piece of skin that needs moisture. I'm so freaking dried out and tired, and I'm old, you guys. I don't know what happened to me, but I'm getting old. I still feel hungover two days later. Granted, I drank for four days straight, but I don't know what's happening. I used to bounce back. I used to rally. Not anymore. I was scheduling nap time throughout the weekend.

00:06:11 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

Now, you went to Chicago for their St. Patrick's Day celebrations. You stayed at Ellen's place. I did. Which you know you're going to drink when your friend Ellen and our friend Ellen's Instagram is Ellen needs a drink. We did drink.

00:06:27 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 2:

We did drink, but I was surprised. I mean, I think I wasted more money on parking than I did for drinking. Like, I should have flown in, which seems ridiculous because Chicago is, I didn't realize this, like a three-and-a-half-hour drive from where I am right now. I thought it was way farther away. And I go there all the time. I'm just stupid, but we knew that. But last Friday, remember how I was talking about how I wasn't packed? And I was really kind of stressed out about it because I was supposed to leave right after the show. Like you hadn't packed one single thing. Not a toothbrush. Nothing. And I was, during the show, I mean, not during the show, immediately following the show? Sure. Looking at, like, last-minute flights. And I was just like, you know what? I'll just fly out there. I'll probably save some money with parking anyways. It might actually be cheaper and possibly faster. So I had, like, a last-minute flight, kind of, like, on my phone but not booked. But I go home and I start packing. bro i literally don't know what is wrong in my genetic makeup to make it impossible for me to reasonably pack for anything travel wise i took three three full suitcases that's one suitcase per day who would need one entire suitcase per day i took an entire bag of shoes y'all know i have my rolly makeup case that was separate i packed up my car and was like guess we're not driving to the airport because this is seven hundred dollars of luggage travel it would cost

00:07:59 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

you more for your luggage to fly than it would for you to fly wait so you so you went in on friday and i know you came back yesterday during our show so you drove back in the morning or afternoon yesterday whatever it was and um you packed three full like like checkable suitcases yeah not like

00:08:18 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 2:

little bags. Nope, nope, nope. Roller suitcases. How's the matter with you? How much stuff

00:08:22 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 3:

do you need? And I saw you one day there and you were wearing, you know.

00:08:30 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

The worst outfit ever. No. No. No, no, no. It was. Because let me tell you, when you packed as frantically as I did, I didn't plan any outfits. I was just like, take as much as you can and get in the car. And I hated every single thing that I packed. I hated the way that I looked all weekend. I never once did my hair. I looked an absolute mess. And then everybody was like, let's take photos. And I, the entire weekend, butthole puckered, was like, I hate this. I hate this. I don't want to be seen. I just want to keep drinking. Leave me alone.

00:09:00 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

This looks so bad. I'm going away for a week this summer. I'm not even checking luggage. I'm going to fly and bring a backpack. Oh, my God. Because I don't want to have to check luggage. How did you get three suitcases? Like, one person can't wheel three suitcases to a hotel room or to Ellen's place.

00:09:17 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 2:

I had to take multiple trips from my parking garage to her apartment throughout the weekend because I didn't want to fill her apartment with my bags either, so I was using the back of my car as a closet. So I had to unpack suitcases and I would repack the tiny suitcase and roll that back and forth every day. And not only that, I had three bags, I had a bag of shoes, I had my makeup case. I brought a steamer with me, like a full-on, it's as big as I am, broke it down into pieces, it was sitting in my back. Did I even take it out of my car? No. I need to buy you a travel steamer. I have a little teeny tiny one. Not me. It was literally the size of a tablet.

00:09:51 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, but wouldn't you think that you're, that you could do, like, I always think if I'm going to stay at somebody's house, like if I'm staying in a hotel, it's another.

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 2:

It's one thing. But if I'm staying in somebody's house, I'll borrow whatever they need. Ellen probably has a steamer.

00:10:04 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't like asking for things. And she did have a steamer, and I still didn't even use it. I wore wrinkly clothes. I hate myself. Did I spill the entire tub of water for the steamer in the back of my car across all the clothes I did want to wear? Of course I did. I am just an absolute mess of a human being.

00:10:22 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 2:

All right, who's the Megan in their life where they pack way too much for a short trip? Like, how much stuff do you need for a three-day trip?

00:10:35 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 4:

You are my mom. My mom, she has to check a duffel bag with just her hair and makeup products in it. I like your mom. Every time we go somewhere, I'm like, Mom, we're just doing carry-ons, okay? Because we don't want to wait for the luggage at the end. Well, I need my hair, stuff, and my makeup, and it's all full size. I'm like, buy travel crap. And put it in a carry-on. You know why you don't? It drives me crazy. Remember when I went to New York for Harry?

00:10:58 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 5:

And I, Harry says, we're on a first turn. Yes.

00:11:01 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 2:

Your friend Harry. Oh, yeah. Harry.

00:11:03 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 5:

Harold. Harold and I, we had a date in New York. I had to meet up with him.

00:11:08 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 2:

You did that same thing. You packed a ton, didn't you, for that?

00:11:10 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 5:

I did, but I forgot a bunch of makeup products. Do you know how expensive it is to buy stuff while you're traveling, though, too?

00:11:15 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 2:

I believe that the people who overpack for weekends like you do are the people that carry A purse with a million things in their purse Like do you have like a million things In your purse like is there a small child somewhere In there oh

00:11:28 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 5:

The most random crap that I've heard

00:11:30 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 2:

It's in there what's going on Amber hi

00:11:34 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 7:

Good morning Mojo Shannon Bye good morning Amber Um this is kind of Getting boring because we're very touched on all this stuff Yesterday That's right

00:11:45 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 1:

I mean come on we already know about

00:11:48 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 7:

St. Patrick's Day and what happened with Megan and Ellen. We already know.

00:11:52 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Megan, I'm sorry, but all your topics are no good. We did them all yesterday.

00:11:56 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 5:

I knew this was going to happen.

00:11:58 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 2:

I was on my spot. Actually, Amber...

00:12:02 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 5:

Did he tell you about the fight we got into?

00:12:04 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 3:

Did you... You didn't do my potato

00:12:06 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 2:

topic, did you? No, no, no, no. We did the potato topic yesterday. It was wonderful. It was a great topic.

00:12:11 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 5:

This booty hole showed up to the party, and he was like, I'm going to talk about this. I said, don't you dare. I already have it written down. And then this booty Hull sent out his email and he stole my topic and I started screaming at him.

00:12:26 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 2:

Amber, we're going to talk about that this morning. Thank you for, by the way, listening yesterday and being a part of our little Megan shenanigans. We didn't talk about it. You listened to the show yesterday when you were driving.

00:12:37 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 5:

The whole show I was also listening to Fred. Let me tell you. This show is way better than ours.

00:12:42 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, tell us some compliment about our show compared to his.

00:12:47 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 3:

What we didn't talk about yesterday that I hope we'll address today is that there was a man you were supposed to meet this year.

00:12:53 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I want to hear all about this.

00:12:55 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 2:

It's coming up. Scarlett?

00:12:59 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 4:

Hello.

00:13:00 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 2:

Hello. Your phone cut out. I wasn't finishing your hello for you. What's up?

00:13:05 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 7:

I just am the same way as Megan. Anytime I travel, I say to myself, okay, I'm taking one bag, taking the outfits I need. The last time I traveled for three days, I took two suitcases and a carry-on. It stresses me out every time. I hate traveling just because I'm the worst hacker ever.

00:13:29 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 2:

You know what the good thing is, though? You come home from your vacation. You don't have to wash all those clothes because you didn't wear any of them.

00:13:35 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 7:

Oh, but I'm an ER nurse, and then I work at U of M. I leave my bag on the floor or in the bedroom for a month. It never gets, the clothes get put away. I think those are serial killers.

00:13:51 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 1:

That's great.

00:13:52 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 5:

To pack my bag for Ellen's, I had to unpack it from the last time I traveled.

00:13:58 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 3:

Which was not recent.

00:13:59 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 5:

It was not.

00:14:00 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Crystal?

00:14:02 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 6:

How are you? Good morning.

00:14:03 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on? Megan's back.

00:14:05 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 6:

So, on my first cruise, my bag weighed 250 pounds before there was a weight limit at the airport. How do you even have a bag that could possibly weigh that much? They waited at the airport.

00:14:20 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but what did you bring in there? Your husband?

00:14:23 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, 250 pounds. I don't even know how it's possible. I brought everything. You didn't know what to expect on your first cruise.

00:14:31 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 3:

What do you own that weighs that much unless you brought your books with you?

00:14:35 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 6:

Well, I brought like three changes of clothes each day. So it was like, so yeah.

00:14:42 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny about that, about the packing like that? Doesn't the cruise ship have weight limits, too? Because they can't have so many.

00:14:50 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 7:

They have to.

00:14:51 - 00:14:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, people bringing stuff. Amy, what's happening?

00:14:54 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 7:

Hi, good morning, guys.

00:14:56 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

00:14:57 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 7:

Megan, don't feel bad. I'm also overpacking.

00:15:00 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 3:

and people always talk crap about how much I pack, especially my father when we're going on a trip. But don't worry, because I'm always the one they ask when they forgot something. Oh, can I borrow this?

00:15:13 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 4:

That's so true. That's right. Anybody want to get rid of the wrinkles in their clothes? Megan's got the device for it. Thank you for the call. Appreciate it, Amy.

00:15:23 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 1:
