It's Mojo in the Morning. Megan, you have, first off, I know that you've tried out for, what was the show? Love is Blind. Love is Blind. Which, by the way, you got robbed. I don't think you should have been on it. Yes, I agree with Mojo.

00:01:44 - 00:01:50 | Speaker 7:

I'm really upset about it. I made it to the fourth round of auditions the first time I applied and the second time I didn't make it past the first round.

00:01:51 - 00:01:52 | Speaker 6:

Okay, this is something.

00:01:52 - 00:01:52 | Speaker 7:

Which is insane.

00:01:53 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 6:

This is something different. It's not another dating type of a show, is it?

00:01:56 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 7:

No. I am obsessed with a new show. Well, a new version of an old show. Have any of you guys started watching Pop Culture Jeopardy with Colin Jost on Amazon Prime? Yeah, but I love him. So good. I'm obsessed with Pop Culture Jeopardy. It is so much fun. He's a fantastic host. And I was thinking about it. My brother and I are really good when we watch the show together because everything I know, he doesn't know. Everything he knows, I don't know. So, like, we'd be a great team on this. And you need three people on each team in Pop Culture Jeopardy. So I said, you know what? Why don't I go on and see what it's like to try out? I know that you can try out to be on Jeopardy online. You have to create an account. You have to take a test. And I realized as this test starts, they said it's roughly 30 to 45 minutes long. I'm like, all right, that's fine. I got some time. Like, I'm excited about this. And I clicked on the wrong one and I auditioned for regular Jeopardy. And I have never felt dumber in my entire life. I sat there and just thought, to the poor producer who has to see the results of this.

00:03:07 - 00:03:07 | Speaker 5:

That is incorrect.

00:03:08 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 7:

I am so sorry. I did not mean to click on this button. You cannot audition for Pop Culture Jeopardy online. You can only audition for college, regular Jeopardy, and kids Jeopardy online. But I took a 40-minute test, and I failed it so hard.

00:03:24 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 2:

That is incorrect.

00:03:24 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 7:

I was like, oh, they put all the hard ones at the beginning just to, like, put you in your place and see how you'll react. Not the whole thing.

00:03:30 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 6:

Where are the questions, like?

00:03:32 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 7:

Geography, Russian literature, foreign languages spoken in an era pre-1700s. Like, I had no idea what was going on.

00:03:43 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 6:

Can I tell you, when I will watch Jeopardy, it doesn't seem like I'm the Jeopardy type, but I'll just have it on on television. I watch it only to see how dumb I really am. and I realize how dumb I am and then I watch Wheel of Fortune just to say, oh, I actually am not that dumb. I figured it. I can figure that whole thing out. Or the Family Feud. Fire. That's what I want to do. I love Steve Harvey, our guy here.

00:04:07 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 7:

I tried out for Family Feud.

00:04:09 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 6:

Family Feud would be great. So Megan, are you going to try to see if you can do the

00:04:15 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 7:

pop culture? Apparently they recruit from people who do pub quizzes. Oh, okay.

00:04:21 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Really? We got to hang out. Like Zach Yeah, we got to go back, yeah. So, I used to always, to me, like, I loved game shows. To me, I was like, this is the thing I always wanted to do. And for some reason, I always wanted to be on Match Game was one of the ones I always wanted to be on. And then the other one was, I thought that, what the heck was it? Price is Right? No. Oh, yeah, Price is Right. I thought that Price is Right would have been the greatest. Because I always thought that Price is Right would be great. And what I would do is I'd wear a super tight shirt so that when I ran down the aisle, I jiggled all over. I wouldn't try to look good. I would try to look like.

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 2:

Like, you know, and so I'd be like that guy because whenever those ladies like run down

00:05:04 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 5:

the aisle, their boobies are swinging.

00:05:06 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, they're like their belly boobies, everything.

00:05:08 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 5:

The woman whose bra broke was my favorite. Does it have to be a game show, though? Because I do have a dream show to be on.

00:05:14 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 2:

What's that?

00:05:14 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 4:

Big Brother.

00:05:15 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Oh, really?

00:05:15 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 4:

I want to be on Big Brother.

00:05:16 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 2:

That would be great.

00:05:17 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 4:

I wanted to be on Nickelodeon Guts. Yeah. So bad. Or Legends of the Hidden Temple. So bad. And then Supermarket Sweep. I had my sights set on that when they brought it back. but I mean I auditioned for the I was almost going to do The Bachelor thank you Jesus God in heaven I chose this job instead of doing that but yeah

00:05:34 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 6:

when I was younger they used to have remember American Gladiator they used to have an obstacle course where they had like you put the balls in you got to shoot them at the person yeah

00:05:43 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 2:

our friends Will and Jessica's son Danny is obsessed with the show that Will was on or the West was on why didn't I say Will Will's his dad Wes was on love they American Ninja Warrior he loves American Ninja Warrior so much and when he found out that you're married to an American Ninja Warrior he thought that you were like literally uh the first lady or something I don't know he was like crazy the first lady of American Ninja Warrior he was like so excited about it because he's been watching them online yeah what's going on Jennifer how you

00:06:14 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 3:

doing good how are you good what's happening nothing I hear Megan talking about Colin Ghost and Jeopardy, and I have been all in.

00:06:26 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So do you think that Megan would be good on that show?

00:06:30 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 5:

I think that she would be great on that show. Yeah. Have you been watching it? Every day. I cannot believe people are not watching the show. It's like truly the best new show to television. It's on Amazon. It's on Prime, yeah.

00:06:43 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

It is really good. And the questions are easier than the regular?

00:06:47 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's just all pop culture.

00:06:49 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 3:

It's all pop culture. They're very to me they're very easy i'm sitting there popping them out everybody's looking at me i'm crazy

00:06:55 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 2:

who's who's better host uh colin jost or the close or the the what's her name on uh or the

00:07:03 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 5:

whoever's a host on the ken jennings ken jennings and then what is the other one she's not on it

00:07:08 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 3:

yeah which is so sad she was amazing i like colin right now because he's hilarious he's so good at

00:07:13 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 5:

it these people are kind of awkward and he makes it so funny yeah well he roasts them sometimes and they don't even realize it. I know, it's great.

00:07:21 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what we should do, honestly? We always want to be on a TV show. We should put the task out there and we should try to see if we can get on all the shows. And I bet you the show we would get on the most would be like a judge show. Could you imagine if we were like on Judge Judy? Judy Justice or whatever it is now? Or Greg. My sister was on Greg Mathis's show.

00:07:40 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 6:

Bruh, I tried to get on Judge Judy. This girl smacked my laptop and broke it. I reached out, they reached out to me and they said, we good, we'll fly you, da-da-da-da-da. but the girl didn't want to get on, so I never went.

00:07:50 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

My favorite was I used to sit by Judge Mathis at the Pistons games, and so I told him how my sister was a huge fan and she wanted to be on there, so he actually let her go on there. He called me up afterwards and said, Man, your sister is great, but she talks a lot.

00:08:04 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

She's perfect.

00:08:06 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? How you doing, Michelle?

00:08:08 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. I just wanted to share my lifelong dream from a kid was to be on Nickelodeon's Double Dare. Yes. Me and my brother tried to recreate it, and it really, really upset my mom. But still a dream.

00:08:26 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That show is great. That was like those shows. That was the best show. Iconic. Do you guys remember TRL? Oh, yeah. Of course, bro. So TRL was obviously the show that everybody would go run home to watch. I would run home from school.

00:08:40 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I would get off the bus and run in my living room.

00:08:43 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 2:

I knew Carson Daly because of KRQ in Tucson because Carson was an intern at KRQ.

00:08:48 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:08:49 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 2:

And Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel was actually a morning guy.

00:08:53 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 4:

Jesus Christ. Yeah.

00:08:54 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 2:

So everybody came through. Think about that. How do you rank them?

00:08:56 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 4:

And Gary Coleman.

00:08:57 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

And Gary Coleman. Yes. And Gary Coleman was on there. Gary Coleman was a co-host on the show with Betsy and I. So long story short, to go back to this whole thing, we used to call Carson and there was people at the radio station that would want to go and just be in the studio audience. He wouldn't just put you in the studio audience. He would have you up there.

00:09:17 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 4:

You'd be the screamer.

00:09:17 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 2:

You'd be right up there, right up against the glass with the stars. Remember how they would do that? They would put in sync and stuff. I'm surprised they had a show like that.

00:09:26 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 6:

They tried to recreate it. It didn't do well.

00:09:28 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 2:

There was something about it where you had these artists. Think about how Teddy Swims was for the Jingle Ball. People went crazy over him.

00:09:34 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 4:

That show was so great. That show was the foundation of my teens.

00:09:39 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

It was great. Shout out 106 and Park, too. That was a great one, too. Yeah. What's up, Kevin? Hi.

00:09:44 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, you guys. I just want to let you know I'm a little professional when it comes to game shows, so I've actually been on Let's Make a Deal three times. Oh, no. And I've been on one twice. No, no.

00:09:57 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 5:

That's cool.

00:09:57 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 1:

And I've actually coached my friend to win. I think she got, like, earrings that was, like, $800. But I've won a motorcycle on there and a trip to Mexico. Oh, my God. And I picked the wrong curtain. I took curtain, too. So next time I go on the show, which will be probably this year, I will shout you guys out for sure.

00:10:15 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 8:

Oh, Mike, I will give you Mojo in the Morning merch to wear.

00:10:18 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 6:

Hey, question for you. Hey, let's go. Is there, like, a hack to getting on these shows?

00:10:25 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 1:

There is a hack. So you have to have, like, a lot of energy. You have to make sure you know exactly why you wear your costume. Also, you need to know that when you get to the studio, you have to keep that same energy the whole time because the producers will be watching you, like Wayne Brady and, you know, people that work there. So you just have to constantly do that. I've also been on, like, Price is Right. I tried out for Supermarket Sweep. I tried out for Amazing Race, made it on the show, but yeah. That's amazing. Easy.

00:10:56 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 8:

So a girl that I graduated from high school with is a producer for a bunch of game shows. I think she's doing Wheel of Fortune right now, but she's done Beach Shazam, Lip Sync Battle. She did Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? So like any of those kind of shows, I feel like, you know.

00:11:14 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:11:15 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 8:

We got your in, Megan.

00:11:16 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 7:

I don't want to be on game shows, though. I want to be on reality shows. Yeah. I want to be on. But you just said Jeopardy. Well, yeah, but that's the one exception. because it's the only thing I'd actually be good at. I wouldn't be good at Big Brother either. I'd probably be first evicted. I've never seen Big Brother.

00:11:31 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 6:

But I know how to be a TV villain. Would that ruin you though? No, no,

00:11:34 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 7:

because I would be there to make a scene. I want you to do Love is Plain so bad. I wish they would have reached out to me. I don't understand how I got four rounds into the process the first time. Like talking to producers, going through, sending individualized videos, like truly doing on the phone interviews to the second time I auditioned because COVID had happened. ghosted. And I think Kev should be the next

00:11:57 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 8:

Bachelor. I'm done with this Recycling Pass

00:11:59 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 6:

contestant. He basically is the Bachelor right now. I like my off life. Let me show you this girl here. Hold on one second. I gotta show you this girl. I'm telling you, we gotta get to Grand Rapids. You need a hot tub. Every Bachelor episode has them in the hot tub with these girls. Alright, same way. Wait till I get a summer body though. Let me be straight. I'll get a six pack. Over.
