Hey there, I'm Kat. I'm a college athlete. I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, which caused back pain and stiffness every day. With Cosentix, I'm able to stay active.

00:00:58 - 00:01:40 | Speaker 1:

Cosentix Secukinumab is prescribed for adults with active psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, or non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis. Available in both IV infusion and self-injection. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. I don't know about you guys, but today I feel like extra tired and I just feel like weird. Do you guys, is the mercury retrograde or what's the, it always is a retrograde. It just feels like something, uh, something weird. Like I felt, uh, uh, it's not. No. Anybody else feeling like that? Anybody else feel like this week has gone on way too slow?

00:02:39 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 7:

Yes. I would say it's gone on too slow, but I'm, it doesn't feel weird to me today only because I slept so much, but it felt weird yesterday.

00:02:48 - 00:02:49 | Speaker 3:

What happened yesterday?

00:02:49 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 7:

I love being single with no kids. Decided last night at six o'clock to crawl into bed with a heated blanket and play my Nintendo Switch because I could. And so I crawled into bed. I set my alarms. It's truly 6 p.m. And I fell asleep with like the lights on. Right. I'm guessing I was out by around 630, 645, like video games still in my hand, lights on in the bedroom, whatever. and I wake up to a phone call and I look at the clock and it says it's like I want to say it was 7 30 ish maybe and my dad's calling me and my dad does not call me at nighttime so I was like I've overslept for work so I'm I pick up the call I was like oh my god oh my god and my dad starts going what's wrong what's wrong and I'm throwing on clothes and I'm like I'm sorry um what day is And he goes, it's Wednesday. That didn't help whatsoever. I didn't know what day it was to know if I was late or not. And I'm freaking out. And he goes, you dumbass. It's PM, not AM. I was like so out of it. And then you sit down with that adrenaline rush and you're still really confused. And I didn't know what was going on. But that was the night I had last night.

00:04:07 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 3:

I've had that. Have you had that doing mornings and stuff? Have you ever had the afternoon nap? Oh, gosh.

00:04:11 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 7:

I don't want to say this. it's been a long time since that has happened oh yes it has happened yeah it's so disorienting

00:04:20 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 3:

i yeah the worst is the the worst is because of the fact that it gets dark so early yeah and the worst is that we have a job that we all have to go to uh to to work when it's dark you know what i mean right so when it is dark outside you do i don't know what the time is you know there's nothing to look at yeah casino it's yeah exactly you're kevin that's the greatest analogy we You ever go to Vegas and go into a casino? You never know what time it is. Do they put clocks at all? I don't think so. Has anybody ever had this happen? Has anybody ever done, because I've done this, gotten in the car and started driving? Oh my God, I've never gotten that far.

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

This is the only time I'm grateful for this.

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 4:

is living downtown i would see people outside and be like oh okay it's nighttime yeah yeah like

00:05:05 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 3:

where'd you guys come from what's going on here uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 uh if if you've ever like lost you know lost yourself it's got to be a mercury retrograde i don't know we never found

00:05:20 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 2:

that out we're not no she said no we live in mercury retrograde is that what it is it's called

00:05:25 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 3:

the world right um texter here goes oh my god megan i did exactly what you've done i've gone to bed early only to wake up thinking i was late for work yeah that is uh that's the thing that happens you know what though i like the the whole idea of you crawling in bed at six o'clock at night you jealous i could be honest with you yes because i because i've been i was so tired this morning waking up although the more sleep i get the more tired i am i don't know if that happens

00:05:55 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 4:

to you guys i found that true for the first night but if you get like three solid nights of good

00:05:59 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 3:

sleep this is amazing it's life-changing it is i know this is weird to say this but i because i i've been trying to like really watch if i get more than six and a half hours or seven hours of sleep which sounds weird that should be normal i don't get that right like i only get like five hours of sleep a night but if i do that three consecutive days i will lose three to four pounds

00:06:20 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 2:

in a week it's weird i'll give it a scale i mean that's a thing yeah it's it's all correlated it's crazy my fingers are crossed because i slept with a jar of eminem's next night about a week may the lord hear you oh and i ate the whole jar oh sean what's going on how you doing

00:06:38 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 1:

hey what's up mojo how are you buddy i'm good man what's up uh uh kev what's up uh uh yeah what's up shannon good morning what's up miss megan hello my love what's up listen megan look i look i went to bed because i got i'm on my way to work right now it's dark and i i do this every morning uh i went to bed early one day though and i woke up at like eight o'clock at night and it was dark right and i looked at the time and i didn't realize it was p.m right i'm like oh heck what's going on dog i'm super late for work bro so i guess up right and my girl like what you doing i'm not about to go to work she said hey it's nighttime i'm like oh man and then you have

00:07:27 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 4:

that adrenaline rush so you can't even go back to sleep exactly i just stayed up i'm like man

00:07:33 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 1:

i i was i had chill bumps i'm like man i hope i ain't about to get fired isn't that crazy that

00:07:40 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 3:

it by the way the that your heart rate goes up to like the highest levels it's ever gotten to

00:07:45 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

doesn't it when that happens yeah yeah yeah man man i was like man dude i'm about to be fired today we love you sean take care buddy all right now i love y'all appreciate you what's up rachel

00:08:00 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

how you doing rachel i'm good good morning guys how are you good morning what's going on First time, long time. Hey! This is on the file! Good morning, good morning. So I just wanted to comment. You mentioned that you lose a couple pounds when you get a good night's rest.

00:08:18 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:08:18 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 4:

More than seven hours of sleep. It's actually due to the cortisol stress levels in your body.

00:08:23 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

00:08:25 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 4:

Indeed. The stress levels in your body will decrease, and you will lose water weight.

00:08:30 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 3:

I like it. All right. Well, give me some more cortisol. I don't know. Can I inject it? I'll inject anything in my body to hopefully lose weight. I'll take that with my, oh, oh, oh, oh, Zambay.

00:08:45 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

00:08:46 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

Talk to you, Rachel. Take care of yourself. I had to go to the bathroom so bad. You know, I didn't, I never, my time changes because of the studios now. I used to drive 15 minutes to work, so I would wait until I had to go and do my morning constitution. and and i would then drive to the radio station now with a longer drive i got to get in the car because if i don't get a car by a certain time i don't get here before 5 30 and then i break the law because that is a law here right so this morning i'm driving and right when i got to mcnichols my my mick booty started feeling like i had to go to the bathroom oh like a poop well oh yeah i felt like i poop this early i don't well i do usually before i go to work yeah i tried it too uh i'm pretty regular so i come to the radio stations very excited about going into the bathroom because i got here a little early and i walk in and there is literally a rap concert going on in the bathroom stall and i'm like what's going on here in the bathroom stall here i i is it the building guy like you know because he's sometimes in there no it's too early for him is it the security person no it's the lady that was working security i'm like who it's kev and he's in there and he's in there and he's

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 8:

He's got, it was like some version of some Eminem song. What was it?

00:10:05 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 7:

What was that?

00:10:06 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 8:

I don't know.

00:10:06 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 7:

I had Drake Treacherous Twin, but I know what you're talking about. I don't know what that was. I can't remember.

00:10:11 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 8:

But I'm like, all right, turn the music off and get your business done because I want to get in there. Like he's sitting on that thing like he's, you know, hanging out, I don't know. Like I'm at home.

00:10:21 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 6:

There's only one stall in the men's bathroom, right? That's it. Yeah.

00:10:24 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 8:

So I faked that I had to pee, and then I realized, oh, maybe I can get him out of there. But I didn't know if it was Kev or who it was. How long were you in there? Because Lydia said you got in here early today.

00:10:35 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 7:

I was here before Lydia.

00:10:37 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 2:

We pulled up at the same time. Don't start that.

00:10:40 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 7:

Who walked in the building first?

00:10:43 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 2:

Kev, we were walking in at the same time.

00:10:45 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 7:

Hey, who walked in the building first? I don't care. There's a reason why she's not answering, obviously. It's because I did.

00:10:51 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 2:

Because your foot was in the door before mine was?

00:10:53 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 7:

Oh, because I pulled up and I saw you pull up, Brett.

00:10:56 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 2:

No, you didn't. You're walking in at the same exact time. I messed with her today.

00:11:01 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 7:

Lydia, I parked on the corner and saw you come down the street. I'm not even going to argue with someone who calls off work 10 minutes before show. Jeez. I mean, if we want to take shots, you know I'll stay loaded. Can we just talk about the fact that I had to go to the bathroom? I got a poo! I mean, come on.

00:11:15 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 5:

And can we also talk about the fact that it was 10 minutes after work started, not 10 minutes before.

00:11:19 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 7:

This is not my problem. This is a building problem. If we have more than one stall, then you wouldn't be talking right now.

00:11:26 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 8:

I'm filing a grievance with the union. We got to get ourselves another stall. It's crazy.

00:11:31 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 5:

I had to wait in line to use the women's restroom yesterday.

00:11:36 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 8:

We're going to have to make appointments to use the bathroom. That's amazing. How long was the line? Was it like a line at the...

00:11:40 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 5:

So we have two stalls, and they were both filled. And then Marcy Allen needed to use the restroom, so I was right behind her. So the line was only too deep. But still, when you only have two minutes and 30 seconds to go to the bathroom, it's like you've got to get in there.

00:11:55 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 6:

Truly, I'll give you the keys to my apartment. Sometimes I just go home. You know what?

00:11:59 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 5:

It was during a commercial break. Oh, Bill. And that's why I'm like, y'all can take your time. I can't.

00:12:06 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 8:

Do you think the corned beef company across the street would let me go over there? I mean, seriously, is there anybody in Eastern Market that works in Eastern Market or lives in Eastern Market that could let us use the bathroom? This is getting nuts. Because this building is, like, still getting built, so we only have, like, the temporary, you know, one stalls in there. So this is just getting – I actually might do this, and I'm serious, but I'm not keeping it outside. I might get one of those – you ever go to an event and see the luxury porta-potties that they have? Like, some events have –

00:12:36 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 5:

Yes, the trailers are so nice.

00:12:37 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 8:

Race for the Cure has, like, the nicest bathrooms at their event, their walk. I might get one of those, and I might put it in our building, like, in the heated part of the building. And have it delivered like on a weekend when nobody sees it. This is just crazy. Well, I hope you feel good, Kev. I do feel.

00:12:54 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 4:
